The people in California or the unions in California are going after billionaires is because they see tech people as a counterpoint to to machine left power.
It is completely a game of power.
They see a threat to their power.
Elon Musk bought Twitter and people lost their minds.
They said, holy shit, if you have enough money in this country.
The machine can't have a monopoly anymore.
Now, it is worth being like, well, who are these tech elite, and what do they believe, and are they going to make the world better?
Maybe not.
But the Democrats, I don't think, like Bernie, are even looking at it that way.
The way they're looking at it is just like, this is a threat to my power.
They don't care about you.
They don't care about your children.
They care about power.
And so –
you might be aligned on the question of like, AI makes me nervous, and I think you would be right to be.
It's a new thing.
