I was just thinking back to that Niners Bears game that nobody probably remembers, but it was the 84 Bears and they went into San Francisco against Montana and they were just smashing people around.

The score was six nothing at the half.

And then the Niners broke out in the second half a little bit, and Ditka didn't like that Guy McIntyre, I think, came in at the goal line.

Maybe he got a carry or something happened in that game.

So the next year was when the fridge was born against the Niners.

The next year, the Niners played the 85 Bears, and the Bears were beating them badly.

And in comes the fridge because Ditka had a long memory.
