He said, you know what, UN, you have a lot of potential.
You're supposed to be stopping wars, ending wars, preventing wars.
That was the establishment of the UN and its purpose after World War II to prevent any other
future world wars.
And yet here we are 80 years later, and we have more conflicts around the globe than ever.
The UN's budget is bigger than ever.
And he called it like he saw it.
He's absolutely correct that they need to get back to basics.
Stop with all of the other nonsense trying to do everything for everybody all over the world.
Stop with the focus on climate.
Stop with the focus on gender and all of these other social issues, regardless of how you feel about them.
And let's get back to peace.
And as the peace president, you know, he made it work.
But I got to tell you, it was a heck of a it was my second day on the job, Brett.
And it was a heck of a second day.
Yeah, I mean, I want to touch on so many of those things, and especially the peace.
I mean, this administration has been the force behind peace deals across the globe, and it's the one at the stage right now.
It's negotiating the end of the Ukraine-Russia conflict that started during the Biden administration, and this all seems like it's worked.
that's meant for the UN.
This is what the United Nations was created to do, but also work that the United Nations has proven incapable of doing.
