Then Frank Arneson went to join Chelsea.
Spurs carried on with Damian Camoli.
They've had many, many sporting directors, and now...
They were looking for another sporting director after Faye Paratici has gone back to Italy with Johan Langer still that is there.
But look, Johan Langer and his team will identify the players.
But I'm getting the feeling that Roberto Di Zerbi is going to have a much more hands-on role than a more traditional head coach.

I think Brendan Johnson, with the fee and the timing was right, but they've been left very, very short because the injuries haven't really, they've not really recovered those injuries.
But Jamie, Spurs get linked with players, they get linked with Semenya, they've been linked with Bruno Fernandes, Ebrechi Eze.
How much does that damage Spurs' image?

You know, it ruins the reputation of Spurs being a big club.
And, you know, you talk about Eze.
You know, he went to Arsenal.
