So it seems like if your quarterback missed a bunch of games, Daniel Jones, Anthony Richardson, Tua, you got like the free pass this year. Is that the Mike McCarthy prognostication there? We'll find out. Because he's a winner, Jason. He is a winner. He wins Super Bowl a long time ago.

Zach Taylor drives me crazy. I don't know that he is a bad coach. Like, I'm not saying he is just bad. You should fire him. But he definitely makes very bad decisions.
frequently so you are you do get your feathers in game he drives me nuts so I don't know whatever he's got Joe Burrow so he wins a lot of games hard to fire him but I think they could do a lot better than Zach Taylor and just imagine just imagine like oh there's all these coaching openings right and it's like the coaches right Ben Johnson is the bell of the ball this year he's gonna get to pick where he wants to go now just imagine one of these spots has Joe Burrow
Can I change my pick? I don't think they need Zay Flowers to beat the Steelers.
Last I saw was nine and a half point favorites over the Steelers. They need Zay Flowers.
Assuming that it's going to be the Bills. They would need them there.
Oh, man.
It's so not fair because, I mean, I would be impressed if somehow they kept him out of this game because in the situation where he would need to not play, that they would actually not play him. But the whole world knows.
That was very, very close to me, but I did not.

I love that he got benched when he wasn't playing well enough and got brought back because really it's a confidence thing. That's when you watch Bryce Young play the last month and a half, two months. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He looks so much more confident.
Welcome in. It's baseball time. No. Redo it. Redo it. Redo the show. Start over. It's not baseball time? No, it's never baseball time. Look at your compadre over here. Your best friend's wearing a... It's hoodie time. I'll grant you that. He's wearing a twins hoodie. Yeah.
The first month of the season had one total passing touchdown. And now he has the second most for a rookie quarterback. Let me ask you this. The last eight games, so the second half of the season, Bo Nix. How many passing touchdowns do you think that pace would be? The entire second half of the season for Bo Nix.
With 4,300 passing yards. Let's go. I mean, the offense has been... That's what Mike's talking about. He wants them youngsters.
Marvin Mims, two more touchdowns. Dude, he's coming alive. I loved him coming out of college. It's nice to see them actually use him.
44-point-something.
I thought that's what he was trying to say. People wear Yankees gear all the time just for fashion. They're not baseball fans.
Yeah, I agree. He still looks like a rookie, but he showed enough to wear your glass half full going forward.
I'm going to be completely honest. When the game came around and Sunday morning started, we were talking about Blackshear, and all of a sudden Miles Sanders was in the game. I was like, Miles Sanders? I didn't know he was active or going to play football this week. And not only did he play football, but he got 17 carries, 50 receiving yards, two touchdowns. Okay.
All on the ground. He had literally not a single target in that game, which feels stupid.
He's so good.
I mean, I just assumed.
I think he's a talented ancillary piece of a wide receiver core. Yeah, I can agree with that.
Right. Are you speaking NFL landscape or fantasy?
Why is it just them? You ever think of that?
I still think probably a three.
Did you mention Drake London's 18 targets?
I mean, in the games with Michael Penix.
Yeah, he's targeted on 41% of his routes, which is number one in the NFL.
I literally have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe you could hit a little better if the hitters showed up. Is there a part of baseball where only pitchers and catchers show up? It's the spring training.
I'm pretty in on Drake London, yeah. I think Pennix can get the job done. I mean, he's the wide receiver six this year.
So it's, you know, in the end.
I think next year he'll probably be more like wide receiver eight or nine, but he'll be a wide receiver one by ADP for sure.
If he's gone – Godwin was so good this year. He was, but I get it. He's older, coming off of an injury. McMillan's breakout, you're going to have a lot of conversation down the road of – you know, is this Jahan Dotson scored more touchdowns than he should have? Or is this Amon Ross St. Brown, the end of year breakout where you just couldn't be stopped.
Yeah.
I don't know why. I mean, I guess you got OTAs in football where it's just the offense. It's like, well, why is the defense there? It's because, like, well, the offense is more important.
Wait, OTAs is only offense? No. That's not true? No. Weirdo. What am I thinking of? That's how you think of it because it's your players you're paying attention to.
That's all we need for the drop, baby. Will Disley! Yee-haw!
Well, he'll probably get tickets. Yeah, he's an NFL player.

Yeah, but you might be ejected for having a weapon on the field.
Of course it's steel. I know a thing or two about metal, okay? That is pure steel.
I'll kick us off with the performance of the year. Which single week performance was the most impressive? You had Josh Allen's week 14 where he put up 51 fantasy points. You had Saquon Barkley's crazy 44 points. We had actually this year a lot.
Of these massive 43-point performances like Alvin Kamara in Week 2, Jonathan Taylor's Week 16 explosion makeup for his drop in the touchdown, Jamar Chase put up a 50-burger in Week 10 versus Baltimore, and Brock Bowers, as a rookie, had a 25-point performance in Week 13.
Yeah, I mean, Chris Olave's name is Christian. It is. So Christian Watson. Oh, no. Oh, no.
Yeah, unlike the big performance of the year, which I feel like we had five of them that were bigger than the biggest last year. This year we had the Waver Wire Wonder, which undrafted Waver Wire stud was the best pickup of the season. Last year, Kyron Williams was great. I didn't feel like this year was as strong. You had Baker Mayfield, Sam Donald, good at the quarterback position.
Jawan Jennings, Darnell Mooney, and then Jonu Smith at tight end, and Bucky Irving, a later season pickup. This one was tough.
McCaffrey, Kirk, Watson, Godwin, Olave. Are there any? Okay, so let's focus on the Christian here. Come on, man. Are there any other fantasy football relevant humans named Christian? Or are they all down? Or did we go four for four? Did we take them all out? Christian Gonzalez just got hurt for the New England Patriots. Doesn't count. This is a fantasy show, but that's a good point. Did he?
Yes.
Oh, no. Goodness gracious.
Golly, man. What in the world?
Look out. Oh, all right. There's none left. Kyle, get on it. Let's see if there's any left, and then we can get some.
Christian Watson, Christian McCaffrey, Christian Kirk, and Christian Olave.
Chosen whatever. Whatever his name is today, I don't know.
He brought a lot of people to the championship.
Yeah, he was better at the start of the year. The wide receiver of the year. Last year was CeeDee Lamb stacking with Dak. This year. That was a good year. Yeah, for you. Jamar Chase, who finished as the wide receiver one, drafted as the wide receiver four, was obviously outstanding. Terry McLaurin, drafted as the wide receiver 32, finishes the wide receiver six, finally got himself a quarterback.
And then you got a couple of breakout rookies. Brian Thomas Jr., who finished as the wide receiver four in his rookie season, as the wide receiver 47 drafted, and Malik Nabors, wide receiver seven finished, drafted as the wide receiver 22. Yeah.
Would you rather have him or Amari Cooper? Oh, man. Can't believe the meat of that trade. Whoops-a-doozles.
All right, we also have Rookie of the Year, who was also Puka Nakua last year. Puka was dominant. I'm surprised Puka wasn't the waiver wire wonder. I mean, Kyron was great, too.
But, yeah, last year. He could have done the clean sweep there. The Rookie of the Year this year, the names are obvious. A lot of the names that we just talked about as a breakout, Jaden Daniels, Brian Thomas Jr., Malik Neighbors, and Brock Powers. Four studs. You know what?
Winners in the end.
The morning started really – Slow and wonky, but towards the end of the morning games, especially when there was like the back and forth between the Falcons outcome versus the Buccaneers outcome that there was a lot of exciting stuff. Unfortunately, the the incredible. Incredible, much-anticipated game that we were waiting for between the Vikings and the Lions did not come to fruition.
No one can. No one can. He also won't remember that he was nominated. Right, so maybe don't vote for him because he won't know.
Oh, because he could see it.
Yeah. Isn't there something neat about that? That's my name. When did I get this?
We have the Playoff King Award, who drove fantasy managers to a championship during the most important weeks, 15, 16, and 17. Last year was Kyron Williams, who was the running back 5, 11, and 1 through those weeks. This year at quarterback, we had Jared Goff, Jaden Daniels, Baker Mayfield, all hitting top 10 performances in all three weeks. You had Jonathan Taylor, who was...
Running back 17, that was the first week of the playoffs where he dropped the ball, had a minus eight point play. But then he was the running back one and the running back one. So if you were in the playoffs, you knew it. Jameer Gibbs. Running back 3, 7, and 2, Brian Thomas Jr., 4, 3, and 14 wide receiver finishes. Tee Higgins, he was the wide receiver 14-16 championship week.
He was the number one wide receiver. Or Sam Laporta, who you kind of forgot about early on, but top six wide receiver each of the three playoff weeks, including a tight end one finish.
Hey, I believe that's all rectified.
It would be two comments in a row. Yeah, the next comment would be, oh, wait, my bad. Good job. You got me.
This will be an interesting race. And there you go. I want to watch the top 10 video clip. So if you want to watch the top 10 video clip as well, go to footyawards.com. The link will be in that. So it's a good time voting on these. Make your voice heard. You see all the commercials last November about get out to vote. This is what it was about. This is all it was talking about.
It was talking about footyawards.com.
Woo, pitchers and catchers, you're the only ones allowed.
And it's really nice because you can't just do the classic March Madness bracket because the NFL recedes. So depending on who you pick, it doesn't just always go like your classic piece of paper bracket where, well, then that team goes and plays this team from that side of the bracket. So it makes it really, really nice for you. Very easy.
Brooksy and Schneider did a great job putting that together.
I have it Philadelphia v. Kansas City.
Boo! Hey, I know, and I've got Kansas City.
Big ref over here. I've got Big Red winning another one.
Basic.
This episode is brought to you by BetterHelp. Let's talk flags for a moment. Not the kinds the refs pull on the field. I'm talking about something else. Green flags in relationships. Stuff you look for in a partner. You know, for me, you want to look for enjoying being around them. You want to look for shared common traits. It's different for everybody. Relationships take effort.
And that was not the reason he got fired. He got fired not because he wasted away that first pick, but because he was not a good enough head coach. I mean, that was just the truth. He was not ready for this job. Even, you know, Kraft came out and talked about how...
When the interviews, when he was coming up, Gerard Mayo was coming up for other interviews, he got scared that he was going to lose him and that he was the heir apparent. He was kind of that handpicked guy, so he put him in. I mean, the truth was he just wasn't that guy, and if you know it, you know it.
Yeah, that's some good ball by the Bills.
But they also, I mean, it's easier to win when you put in your star rookie quarterback. And that's what happened for the first time all season for the Patriots.
Bazooka Joe.
Like a year or two. Give him a couple years and let him go out on top. Yeah. Tell him to retire. Like, well, I'm not going to fire you, but just retire because you're doing awesome.
I definitely think retaining Brian Dayball is the right route here. He appears to me still to be a good coach. He's been working with not a lot, so I don't know about the GM situation, but Dayball is the type of guy that I think if they let him go, he would be interviewed immediately for at least that coaching jobs or go get another OC job.
And if you want to make things work... I'd suggest therapy. It's a great tool that can help you navigate all sorts of relationship problems. And therapy can help you tackle other problems too. I've had therapy for years and you go through highs and you go through lows. Sometimes you're stressed. Sometimes things are going well.
Right at the end. Yeah.
Down the stretch. I mean, you had one of the worst games of the season, of the whole season. One of the most surprising outcomes in week 17 to let the Colts win. just get annihilated by a team they were super favored over where they had to win. When that game ended, I thought Steichen would not be back, but this is also a team that has not been that bad.
They were in the playoff hunt last year and this year. It didn't happen, but this isn't a team that – I think continuity also matters, so probably a good move.
For a redraft, not Dynasty. Because obviously Dynasty is Mark Andrews. Yeah.
Right now, I would go Kelsey.
Yeah, basically. I mean, it could go either way.
Honestly, and what I was just bringing up, so obviously if they cut him, he'll have to go – wait, would he have to go through the waiver system at his year in the NFL? I don't know that off the top of my head. Kyle, vet that.
Okay, so then if he is completely a free agent, I actually think he is –
the most valuable asset that any team can go get he's not worth trading for the current contract and giving up extra stuff for an older veteran but there are wide receiver needy teams and if he is out there he will he will have a lot of he will be hyper specific on where he wants to go yeah you know it's in it i think it will potentially come with rogers so we'll we'll see Yeah.
I can see him just going to the Niners.
I don't blame him. I don't blame him, man. What he put on the field last year was not special. Oh, man. It was an average running back. And I hope this coming season it's awesome, you know, that the team can commit to him. He could be one of, if not their best offensive weapon. He is still so young. And prior to this season. He'll be 24 this year. Incredibly explosive.
This last year, I mean, we watched, you know, we watch everything. But it was just you would compare him to other players that made things happen on their own, and you'd just be like, well, Brees used to always hit that edge.
I don't think the Packers would give up a first plus one of their wide receivers for DK Metcalf.
Yeah, I'm guessing they're floating their second round pick, which feels fair to both parties, to be honest.
Dude, I need to get rid of this trophy soon, and I'm telling you guys right now, you're going to want to stop drinking whatever's in your cup over the next month during our show. You're going to Mission Impossible him? A little food poisoning? Yeah, I'm thinking Dumb and Dumber him, but you're going to be sitting on the toilet.
Down the hatch.
The Saints have done that for going on like 13 years. Every year they have no cap space. They restructure some guys.
When they finally decide we cannot kick the can down the road anymore, which I don't know that they will ever do, but if they do, they will have the fastest route to the first pick in the draft because that thing will burn to the ground.
And the cap going up so much this year. I mean, it's similar last year, but these are massive jumps. Teams have to spend at least 89% of the cap. So it's $279 million this year. That means a lot of these teams, even the kind of penny-pinching teams, they have to spend some big contracts. And one thing that I find, I don't even understand how it works.
So the NFL as a whole must spend at least 95% of the cap. individual teams need to spend at least 89% of the cap. But how do you hold someone accountable on that?
Yeah, if the whole league is at 94%. How do you tell that team? You go to the cheap team? You go to the cheap team. You've got to give out another contract.
Jason, please. Sure, I'll kick it off. This was the one that really shocked you. I have Sam Darnold next year playing for the Minnesota Vikings. I don't think it is ruled out that they would bring him back, especially on a franchise tag. Bring him back for one year. That better happen quick. Well, right, sure. But this team won a lot of games.
They were inches away, basically, or one very bad game away from From being the number one seed, and I think they don't know what they have in McCarthy, Darnold coming back makes sense if they can find a good enough deal for the Vikings.
Now, if Sam Darnold goes out and has teams that are just money hand over fist, we believe in you, we're going to build our franchise around you based on what we saw last year. then he'll leave. But I just don't know if there are teams out there that are going to really, really, really do that. If there is one that's going to do that, I think it's your pick, Mike. All right. But I don't know.
I wouldn't do it. So you're going with the Vikings, Mike.
Yeah, I agree completely. I've got him going to the Browns. If it happens at the top of the draft, kind of like what you're saying, and Shador isn't or Dart, if those guys aren't the right fit and they want to take a defensive piece, I think the Browns might be able to get Cam at two. I would be shocked if Cam doesn't go one.
Because not necessarily to the Titans, but it seems like other teams, whether it's the Jets. Yeah, I saw the Giants rumors. The Giants trading up to one. Those rumors are flying. Or the Browns.
Absolutely. But if they don't, then I think Fields makes a lot of sense for their team.
That's the new, just let him compete. We've dropped him out of the kitchen completely. Let him find his way to the kitchen. I've got Russ going back to the Steelers. I do, too. The Steelers kind of seem like they're going to pick one of these two guys and sign them to a contract, so I've got them picking Russ since they picked Russ Lester.
okay as a backup so I think it makes sense get Jones draft a running back later yeah I could see them doing that I have him um going out and trying to get a contract anywhere he can and I've got him going to the Browns is everyone going to the Browns Jay well two of the players so far that I've mentioned are going to the Browns it will be him and Justin Fields
I have him going to a team with massive amounts of cap room to be able to spend on a running back. They already spent cash on a running back. They did, which they still need running back help. And I think Drake May could use a veteran, someone that can come in there and establish it. So I've got Najee going to the Patriots.
I've got him going to the Bears to be kind of the David Montgomery. It would have been great if you said Browns again. Going to the Bears to be that David Montgomery to DeAndre Swift, kind of the poor man's version of the Lions.
I've got him going to the Colts to be a backup. I know a lot of times when you're doing the free agents, it's always like who needs a starting running back, but they need someone better behind the oft-injured Jonathan Taylor.
Yeah, that's where he should go. The Raiders are where I've got him going. I've got him going there too. They are in desperate need of help, and he's available.
Oh, my gosh.
Don't you dare steal this guy. It's like a joke. It's like trying to get someone to clean up your dog poop. Like, I've got a really nice pooper scooper. You should check this out. Why don't you use it?
Yeah, exactly. Just try it out.
Who's that? The Panthers. Yeah. Yeah. I was waiting for Adam Thielen to chime in. Oh, I'm so sorry. He's asleep. Yeah. It's nap time. So I think they've got enough money. They're trying to get some weapons for Bryce Young and there's not a ton out there. Big enough for the both of us. Yeah. I will go with the Ravens. That team's going to be sponsored by Metamucil. When you need to stay regular.
Ironic, because the quarterback's name is Young.
I think that would be pretty easy.
58 more receptions this year, and he enters the top 10 all-time.
That would be so much fun. That's what I'll go with. That would be really great. I have him going to the Chiefs. He has played some really good football. The last couple years, he's looked great. And DeAndre Hopkins is not under contract. Juju is... This is basically... I think an upgrade right now, even though he's older for Patrick Mahomes, his play style to come in. This is a player.
I didn't know I was getting a drum roll.
I think maybe he will take less money because he's at the point where he'd love to just chase that championship. Sure. Uh, chiefs can't afford much. So maybe he'll come in a little bit cheap. All right.
Uh-huh. And then Amari Cooper. I've got the Saints. I think Amari Cooper going to the Saints is perfect. It's just been like Mike. Is this the huge debate as to who the Saints are going to grab between these two players?
Because I do think you can change midseason if you're great. Amari Cooper was a great – he went to a wide receiver needy team with a great quarterback and did jack squat. Now, granted, didn't he break his arm or wrist or something shortly after getting there?
Wait a minute. Did you know there was going to be a drum roll? No. That was a surprise.
Shattered his arm from his shoulder to his finger. They removed his arm, right? Played like it.
Ooh.
Either way, you ruined all anticipation. You just shouted the name. No, I didn't. I had just said Jay Rego. It is Janine Rego. Someone else out there might be like Josh Rego, and they're like, oh, I won. No, you didn't. Janine Rego, you were the one selected.
I agree completely.
I love Devontae Smith, but T. Higgins, when he has been on the field for the Bengals, is a fantasy star more than you realize. The injuries have plagued him, and that would be a reason to maybe go Devontae Smith. But I don't think that the injuries are just a guarantee to always happen. I don't think he is injury prone. I think he's just had injuries. We've seen that in lots of players.
And if he's on the field, he is more valuable for fantasy on the Bengals offense with the Bengals defense than Devontae Smith is on the current version of the Eagles. TTT.
That's dangerous.
Middle of the second round, non-super flex rookie pick. Would you rather have Isaiah Pacheco or the second round?
Obviously, if they were to roll back to the... Go into 2025 the way they went into 2024, Isaiah Pacheco would be great for fantasy. I don't believe that's going to happen. He didn't come back strong from the injuries. In the final year of his rookie deal, they need future anyways. And with a deep running back draft class, I think they're going to bring someone else...
talented in, and then that could just completely ruin Isaiah Pacheco, both immediate term and long term.
Veteran. Yeah, I would say veteran. I mean, if you say, you know, Darnold or, you know, Shador Sanders, it's definitely Darnold.
I think it would be pretty much all of the veterans.
if that were the case, or that would be my hope. Well, the nice thing is if you've got Rodgers, he's clearly a stopgap. They're still looking for their quarterback of the future. I don't believe this draft class for quarterbacks is great.
So I would rather them go with – like if I've got Brock Bowers from a dynasty perspective, if I get Rodgers this year and then they're probably going to be bad, then maybe they can get a quality quarterback next year that over the next eight, nine years is better than –
If you're not a Shador Sanders believer and that's the guy that's falling to them, then that ruins Brock Barrett or could potentially ruin him for four years while they figure that out.
Yeah, there were players that stood out for better or worse. You had Tez Johnson, itty-bitty baby boy.
Yeah, Caleb Johnson was surprisingly slow on the 40. That one makes no sense.
He's not a good sprinter. He ran a 4.57. I think he is a good running back.
Yeah, his official score, I believe, was a 4.57, which was just slower than what you thought you might see on tape. And truly, he hit 22.2 miles per hour in a game last year. Which should just be what you know. Well, that's what happened with Puka. Puka ran slow, but they had the tracking of him hitting, I think it was 22 miles per hour in college.
It's like, okay, so on the football field, he's fast, right? In underwear doing a track and field style sprint, you're not as fast. Which one do you want to play football?
Yeah, guys that help their stock. Omari and Hampton.
really showed out across the the gamut you know his his 40-yard dash 446 that's you know it's not breaking records but that's really fast for a guy that weighs in at 220 pounds all of his athletic measurables put him as an elite athlete I think he I think he combined himself into the first round he was a borderline first round pick yeah and and when I look at this but the thing is is with Hampton he projects to be a three down back like that is his skill set he was a a a
pass protector pass catcher in college and he's big he can do it all and so I do feel like for him for fantasy football purposes I want that team investment I want a team to spend a first rounder on him because then I know he's going to get the ball a ton I think he combined his way into that role yeah a lot of excitement around Hampton let's talk some more news news and notes from around the league
I don't think so. I feel like Debo's going to come here and help the team a little bit. Not a ton. They did need this. We've been talking about it. This is a... outlandishly bad, or outlandish is the wrong word. It is a very, very unusual wide receiver draft class for recent history. The prospects are not as good as they usually are coming out into the draft.
A haboob rolled through. Those are fun when you're outside.
And then, with T. Higgins getting tagged, the free agent pool of wide receivers, there's not much there. So if you want, if your team needs a wide receiver, there's one way to do it. And that's a trade for a guy. That's why I think DK Metcalf... probably will get traded because there's going to be teams that need to trade to address their wide receiver position.
They can't necessarily do it in the draft or in free agency. To me, Debo will be a mild addition to this team. And I'm excited for Ricky Pearsall and the opportunities there. You've got Brandon Ayuk, who is, we don't know when he'll be back. Right now, I think the projection is probably start on the pup. But if he doesn't, he's not going to be full strength.
It'll be really interesting to see where Jennings is drafted because Jawan Jennings was a stud at certain points last year, and it seems like they really need him now.
Yeah, and so going forward, this is great for Puka, the fantasy value of Kyron Williams. I think that those two guys – I mean, Puka, you can make a strong argument that he should be the number two wide receiver behind Jamar Chase. Yeah. Anywhere there from like two to five or something, there's kind of a group of awesome wide receivers.
But he very likely could – I mean, he was on a points per game basis if you take out his injured game, he was the number two wide receiver last year.
Yeah, I think we are happy that Kelsey is back. Titans six. He is still, you know, if you were to remove Travis Kelsey's name and just have tightened X. Would you rather have him or Andrews?
Your guess is as good as mine.
Looks like ten.
One every two catches is a huge touchdown.
I mean, that's wild. Like, when you look at his game log, a consistency rank of 12, yeah, I don't know. It just feels strong with the amount of red in there. I mean, you have 23% of his games, it was a bust, but he had so many really high-level finishes.
38% great. Like that for Mike Evans.
Yeah.
Julio Jones, same thing.
A little bit lower than that. What you know for sure is.
They will do their best to get him 1,000 yards. That will be in play because then Kyle, he's tied right now with Jerry Rice. Am I remembering that right? That's correct. So if he gets it this year, then that's Mike Evans' record of most consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, right?
This episode is brought to you by Indeed. When draft time rolls around, you have to be strategic and you have to be quick to put together the best possible team. Like with football players, when you're drafting a quarterback, there are so many things that you need. You need an athletic guy. You need a guy who can process information. He's got a strong arm. Maybe he can run around a little bit.

I don't know what to do with this one, yeah.
If you were playing Jerry Judy over the first half of the year, it was detrimental to your fantasy football lineup.
It was Cedric Tillman at the beginning.
Yes.
Is that the Watson injury game? I'm not sure the specifics of it. Week seven was the Watson injury. 39% of snaps for Watson that week.
He's so bizarre, though. Jerry Judy has underperformed pretty drastically your hopes and your dreams for when he was drafted. He was in the Jefferson draft. Oh, yeah. Jefferson draft class. CD Lamb. Where Judy was the second wide receiver. I think you had Ruggs first. But it had been four years in Denver where you had an end of season.
You had one okay one, 972 yards, six touchdowns in year three with the Denver Broncos. But it's been an underperformance as a whole. And then you get the first half of this. But then now is this a the genie's out and the team's like, holy crap, we didn't even realize that this was part of the range of outcomes for Jerry Judy, which if you remember, they got him and they extended him.
Jason's not here. Well, he is.
Put a 200-yard game in there. It'll help.
Is this the Jameis Winston? Is it Devontae Parker? Right. Like the round one wide receiver who gives you very little, and then year five you're like, Holy crap, Terry. I knew it. I knew I should believe in Jerry Judy the whole time. And then you go, oh, no, no.
Yeah, we were about to hit record. Yeah. But he's not here. No, he is in the Slack saying, there's no way. This is a fake out. You're faking me out.
Yeah, he went nuclear. And when you compare him to other rookies, what they have already given us in the NFL, guys who were drafted in rounds one through three, Ladd is in the 80th percentile for targets per route run. We love that. Yards per route run, fourth best over the last decade. He's right there with Beckham, A.J. Brown, and Justin Jefferson in terms of a per route basis. So this is...
This is a player who is on a rocket. Could the pendulum swing too far for left? Let me give it to you.
Yeah, so best balls for the absolute degenerates and maniacs out there. Best ball is open if you want to have a good time. But right now, we're seeing an early best ball ADP of wide receiver 10th.
Yeah, this one is brutal because I want to be all chips in on Ladd, but that wide receiver 10 is a
Oh, man. It's as spicy as it gets.
Yeah, like that is projecting a very big jump.
Did we talk about they'll probably have a new OC. Well, not probably. Most likely they will with Kellen Moore. Yeah, how does that make you feel? Being lined up for the Saints job.
Brown? I'll be on the Nabors side. Yeah. Brown will be a fringe wide receiver one in terms of ADP. And I know he finishes.
The big games in the back. I mean, you have an overall number one. Big games in the back. Yeah, big back Jordan Addison. He had a number one overall finish. Two weeks later, he was number three with actually more points than he scored in his number one output. So when you, like those types of performances, that's multiple games in one. So it juices you up to wide receiver 16.
Right. Part two. Right. That's somebody else.
19 touchdowns through two seasons.
Yeah.
Hilton had some good years. That sounds pretty. Well, Hilton never got the nine touchdowns.
No, this is fantastic. I mean, it's February. We'll get into the content. Jason Moore will be here eventually. Jason Moore, when he is done doing whatever he's doing.
Two.
I will. You will? I will. You? Yeah. You've been hurt so much. But here's the thing is, like, yes, there are many pains, but there are many pains from many fantasy football wide receivers out there who can't give you what T. Higgins can give you.
I wouldn't go there, but I would say that T. Higgins, yeah, he hasn't been a top 15 guy, but in three of five seasons, he's been wide receiver 22, 17, 19.
I think it is, if it's a place that I would project as good as the Chargers, it would probably be neutral because I think he can go be a number one. But this isn't like, I don't think he can be Jamar Chase. He can't be Jefferson, but he could be like Mike Evans numbers. T. Higgins can do that.
I mean, there was no football. There was a Pro Bowl, I guess. Oh, my gosh. I saw some clips online of like the receivers putting on gigantic hands.
Yeah.
Well, hold on. It was announced he was hurt like an hour after I drafted him.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I mean, I know more about that than I know about the Pro Bowl.
Yeah, he was a playoff guy.
I thought you were going to go a different direction with your saying it like how you were on this podcast last year. giving the warnings of Brandon Iyuk, who was on a great team, a high-powered offense, has a good defense, has this unbelievable level of efficiency where Iyuk, the magical year two years ago, he was at... 17.9 yards per reception on 75 catches, 75 touchdowns. Jamison Williams.
75 touchdowns. Sorry, seven. Jamison Williams, 58 catches, 17.3, seven touchdowns. Very similar. Very similar. He was incredibly efficient. Big play dependent. Volume can go up for Jamison Williams. 91 targets. That's a number that you could see going up, but it's – I think he is difficult because it was so it was a huge place and those can bounce back and forth.
I'm not saying he can't kind of replicate this, but it is very difficult.
Yeah. Kyle has won that argument two of three years. So the point is still on his side.
I got it. I got you.
We did what you asked, sir. We replaced the hole.
And he was interesting of he was far more productive against man coverage instead of zone. So maybe the downtick there that we mentioned at the top of the show of defenses running zone going down a little bit because, like, man, yards per route run, it's over three. Like, that's incredible. And then zone, it was down under two yards per route run. So it may be more –
predictable with moving forward with him with that information if we can get a hold of which defenses are preferring to go with man coverage. I mean, it makes sense for the prototype of wide receiver that he is. He's the traditional X wide receiver where it's like the bigger guy, let's let him win a 50-50 ball.
Puka and Nico are easy.
Yeah, and the reason I wouldn't say he's the biggest bust in fantasy football last year is like that whole first half. Week one was great. He was the QB4. They lose Tua for a huge stretch of games. You blamed it all on that. You didn't think it would be that bad as it was where, I mean, he's like in the 50s. He did nothing without Tua. And then Tua comes back, and you got something.
Tyreek Hill wasn't unplayable. Travis Etienne, if you put him in the lineup, you knew you were going to get punched in the face. But Tyreek, he's at least giving you games. He's just not giving you anything close to the wide receiver one.
Yeah. Home leagues, you mean?
Everyone needs a good backup quarterback, but they really need to.
They need Joe Flacco.
Yeah, you need someone like that where you can feel confident that if Tua misses a couple games, we're not just buried in the bottom of the ocean. Give me Jameis or give me death. Well, we like Jameis for fantasy. I don't know if people want Jameis to win football games.
1,718.
Oh, for the Saints?
30?
Yeah, I was with you. I thought it was fake. I think I even saw it and didn't post it into our basketball channel because I'm like,
you don't want to be you're not getting me on this one and then you post it and i'm like i guess this is real and then like i didn't want to share it to my other friends groups because i thought this is fake and people are going to laugh about how dumb this trade is not that luca got traded but just the compensation is it doesn't make any sense
Mission accomplished. I've seen those. Those seem too many layers into the conspiracy. You're down the rabbit hole, but, like, at this point. What other explanation makes sense?
Which I analyzed it again, and it really takes it over the top, is watch the eyebrows. Is that what it is? Because one is up, kind of like the rock, and then it's due, and then vol, the other one, flies up.
So you've been spending some time with this.
I told you, I can't get enough.
Jay Grizz.
Yeah, I mean, this is what happens. And that's what makes the loss just even tougher, as you know. You knew that things were going to get pillaged there.
That's the rumor mill. Essentially, it's his job. But nothing's official.
Or is this waiting for – Well, they could have bought – I thought that Belichick had like a $10 million buyout.
Belichick didn't have a job. Like, he could have been hired. So that's – I don't –
when you're talking about jerry jones i don't think it's wrong to think what what's the master plan yeah what circus show does he have lined up but like looking out there it's i don't know you have time for a bridge years no i don't think so i think he's hiring schottenheimer to be the head coach going forward yeah he jerry jerry likes to think he's really good at the general managing
They need Aaron Jones.
It's not meaningless for Anthony Richardson.
I think plans have changed. I don't think he's going to be driving anytime soon.
Yeah.
Whoops. Whoopsies.
Bad timing. Consequences for your actions. Free speech. You say what you want.
There you go. A couple of years. Did you say the part, Andy, of the Titans have said both Mason Rudolph and Will Evans will play for the Titans? Yeah.
When you got two quarterbacks, how many quarterbacks you got? You got zero. You got zero.
Callahan, brother, you know. You've seen enough. You know. You saw it week one. You're like, that's all I need to know. Because then it happened again in week two. This is not the answer.
Just hit the outro button right now.
Al Borland, the king. Give him the applause, Jason. The people love it.
They're not trading May.
I don't think that's happened. But, I mean, someone can trade up to get the number one pick.
But you could be wrong. That would be insanity. Drake May looks like he has a future.
Thank you.
There was further reports, too, of like Wentz might not even play the whole game.
I think it's McElbow. Yeah, yeah. It's McGroin. Thank you.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that was a good time.
I would love if they don't even hand the ball off. Take a knee. On his one snap, just have Josh Allen take a knee, lose a yard, and then run off the field. It would be electric.
Take a knee or go for the touchdown.
Super Bowl goes away.
It's 101. If it was like 50...
I can see him going for it, but, you know.
He was just beating the crap out of the defense.
Yeah, I don't know how Tomlin will handle it.
You see the Jonu Smith one? So it's Jonu Smith can earn an additional $400,000 if the team has top 20 points scored or net yards. and he plays 59% of the snaps. To get there, he would have to play 100% of the snaps this week. Oh, my gosh. So we'll see on that one.
And they're playing for a playoff spot too.
Yeah.
But it's like – If they take him off the field one time, he loses that?
He'll be out on the field just like laying down.
Because obviously if they're not – They've been scoring a lot of points. Top 20 in score net yards seems like it.
Did Brian just stay up 48 straight hours? Oh, they had this prepped. No question. No, you did.
Oh, that's so sad. In case you lost. Hey, you know what? Sometimes you don't have to tell everybody everything. You can just be like.
Wait, wait, wait. You were trying to make them feel good by reminding them. You need to evaluate of what you think would make people feel better. Yeah, my bad. Because telling me I would have been in the graphic had Jameer Gibbs not run a 30-yard touchdown with three minutes left.
I told you that to make you feel better.
Remember her? Anyway, yes. They paid for it.
They paid for a big cake, too. They threw it out. But they paid for a huge cake for you. It would have been great.
Oh, I feel way better. All right. Thank you.
Oh, yes. Oh, yes.
Congratulations. But not Mike. No, I didn't win.
You know how the Oscar people, they put their movie out in December? Like all the Chalamet talk for the Bob Dylan movie, whatever it's called. And they're like, oh, he's going to win Best Actor. Yeah, we just kind of sneak it in at the end. Because that's when everyone is not really paying attention, but you are.
Yeah, we had to go to the vehicle.
Mims is hard to trust. It's a little janky. But the snaps the last two weeks are at 47% where he's been a mid-20s type of a player. So has he solidified that spot? I don't think we know for sure. It's sketchy.
I need an IV. I'm very dehydrated.
Yeah, and we're still waiting on who is the quarterback. You're waiting on Jalen Waddle. The last news I saw on Waddle was actually more positive that he might play. and the news on Tua is seemingly negative.
But the grass was destroyed.
Players were slipping all over the place. Is your Oconquo belief and faith still strong if you're like, they're going to be rotating guys?
Do you prefer Broncos, Buccaneers, or Dolphins? Their roster percentage is pretty close.
I'm sure they covered our tickets. Yeah.
I like him.
Stroud. Since the return from the benching, he has been a much better fantasy quarterback.
And I'm going with Russ against Cincinnati. You've got to be locked into the news of what Mike Tomlin is saying is going to happen because we laid it out. They will know if they need to win the game or not to try and get the division. But the matchup is there. It's the second highest total of the week right now. And, dude, Cincinnati, this is the team we want to play against.
There's so many things and finding the exact right one, very difficult. But if you're hiring, the best strategy is to use Indeed. Their sponsored jobs will help you stand out. Debo, at least he had a fantastic game. He had a catch. He had a catch, guys.
Hiring Indeed is all you need.
How did you not make Jeremy do it? He's the champ. I do what I want.
The britches are getting big. The britches were prepped.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, my gosh. He's my co-manager.
I mean, that changed rapidly. Yeah. They sold you down the river.
People are always shocked about that. It is actually very detrimental to your wallet to win.
hire a maryland monroe yeah and buy signs everywhere banners and we're getting written up by the by the complex yeah saying that we're not allowed to put banners up don't tell me what i can't do i'm the champ so lady yeah you you win negative money yeah but i had already looked into like but it's marching bands yeah how if i could rent a few cheerleaders to cheer every pick i
All day.
Some leagues people will reach at the end of the first. Otherwise, they'll be mid-second at the latest.
I think Bowers will go ahead of Brian Thomas.
It might be a good reason. I'm sure there's going to be plenty of discourse of, well, like, is Bowers going to Laporta? To me, the answer is absolutely not. Laporta, it was a really low-scoring tight end year last season, and it was not done on volume. It was done on touchdowns.
Laporta's coming through in the playoffs because he's scoring a bunch of touchdowns, where Brock Bowers is a new Travis Kelsey, where he's the focal point of the Raiders' offense for the foreseeable future.
It was – that was a bad one.
Yeah, he did. He's catching passes.
But even if they do, Bowers – They'll have a rookie quarterback too.
Bowers has 1,150 yards with a game left, and Laporta last year finished the season at 17 games with under 900 yards.
He could be close. This wasn't an argument.
McBride has 104 receptions. Bowers is at 108. McBride and also McBride is one game fewer. So McBride's at 15 games.
And like the the beginning of Travis Kelsey's career, five, five, four. Then then it went up and you had a run where he's hitting double digit touchdowns.
We do have a piece of news that actually is important for waivers. Brown's running back, Pierce Strong, is in the concussion protocol.
Deonta Foreman is in a really, really bad situation, but the running backs are right now a flow chart of injuries where you know that Foreman's going to get the ball a lot. Can he do anything against the Ravens? I don't know.
It's been great. But we did it.
Oh, I'm cheered up. I'm good. I'm on to 2025.
Yes, but at the same time, had that not happened, that victory was going to feel so, so, so good. And unfortunately, we're down to three minutes, and the Lions are having just an incredible drive of melting out the clock. And it was, they're going to do it. Like, they didn't have to score. They just needed to eat the clock up.
But then San Francisco is so inept on their rushing defense that Jameer Gibbs ripped off the 30. I mean, every time Jameer Gibbs touched the ball.
Yeah, he threw that up early, the score of the League of Records.
Every time Gibbs touched the ball last night was like, Terror. He could go. Yes.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, that would have been cool, too.
Or Ford mid-game.
Yeah. Yeah, just a full game of Jerome Ford I would have won. And also, I mean, like a shout-out to Sam Laporta, who, like if people stuck with Sam Laporta.
He had a massive run. The three playoff weeks, tight end won. I mean, 14.6, 12.3, 15.4. Yeah, he was very good. Laporta came through in the clutch when he was – I mean, halfway through the season, he was like – every single week is, do I drop Sam Laporta? Do I drop Sam Laporta? And he – Really, I feel like – If you held on, you were rewarded.
Garendo is still the, he's scored almost 12 points.
Yeah, I mean, the producer's got a lot of power here.
Does that feel like Gibbs ran a 30-yard touchdown with three minutes left?
Oh, well, he was almost the biggest.
I mean, they're tied as the first person in next year's listener. Right. Because the listener league winner. Yes. Team name, Boomin Newman. Yeah, Jared. Username, Jared Actor, which we have not got to the bottom of. Is it Jared Actor? I'm not sure if he's an actor or if this is a dinosaur thing. Yeah, is this a pterodactyl reference, but... Probably a dinosaur reference. Jared Hector.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Give yourself a couple weeks or wake up to an alarm and come into work and talk about how awesome it was that everybody won a bunch of championships. One of those things you could choose to do.
Because once you get – There was a fumble by Debo, which I was like, what if that – After the Gibbs touchdown.
I, of course, finished watching the game just in case they did an end around with Debo and he fumbled it. Because it would have – It would have been enough to win.
Of course I'm going to watch through.
But, yeah. That's it.
Oh, did that one get changed too?
Is it going to work? Al, you've got to fire that one off back there.
I don't know if our sponsors approved two ugly guys on that drop.
Your co-manager is the graphic guy. Oh, that's a good point. The producer with the guy who does the graphics. That's a pretty good combo for some celebration. God.
I thought he had the Tommy John surgery.
But it's a nerve issue. His face on the sideline. He was almost crying. Because I'm sure inside his brain he went, it happened again. It happened again. I'm trying to sign a contract to be the franchise quarterback for the 49ers, and it freaking happened again.
We really hope that he's okay.
There is some weirdness, though, because the I think they're the Saturday game. I know the Steelers play before the Ravens. Kyle, is that is that correct? Because like there's some weirdness of.
Oh, I had it flip-flopped. Okay, so the Steelers will know if they have a chance to win the division or not. Right, right. And they won't.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. There is no... No effort?
You just move the hair.
Push the down arrow. Hold shift, push down like three times, and you're good. This is not hard.
Well, enjoy that, Foot Clan.
Right in line with what we're used to seeing, 46 last year, 45 the year before, 49 the year before this. We bring this stat up every single season in the draft time when you're talking about quarterback strategy for the streaming option for the late-round quarterback people out there and in here. There are options from the waivers that you will never think of
For instance, Malik Willis had a top 12. Drew Locke. Drew Locke had the epic game. Man, if anyone played Drew Locke in that game.
Yeah, he didn't start either. So no one, for fantasy purposes, started. We should really have this number be 43. Okay.
Outright busts are easier to deal with. If you got Travis Etienne, you moved on. You weren't spending every single week thinking, oh, I got to find a way. I think I should start Travis Etienne this week. You just went, well, that sucks. You lit the pick on fire, and you found someone else to try to get you fantasy points. Kyler, the whole season... I mean, the thing is 44% of his games were bust.
That is awful. And he was so much worse in the second half because the first half of the season, his consistency score was number five. So he really was like the drug you shouldn't have. It's like, Ooh, you like this. This feels good. You've got something nice here. Boom. You're addicted. Now you're on the streets. That was Kyler. Yeah, Kyler had a... Putting people on the streets?
Yeah, I mean, homeless. This was a situation where you ended up in a meth house if you kept with Kyler Murray all season long.
You think you've got a floor. Usually with mobile rushing quarterbacks, it's like, well, we know he's going to get 30, 40, 50 yards a game, so you're starting with a 3, 4, 5-point baseline in fantasy points scored. But the issue with Kyler this year... was sometimes he just didn't run. And that was the success or failure for fantasy purposes.
In games where he had 20 or more rushing yards, he averaged 21 fantasy points per game. Yay, great. But then in games where he had fewer than 20 rushing yards, it was 12.5 fantasy points. There were so many times as a Cardinal fan that I'm watching these games. I'm like, why aren't you running there? Scramble. You have a superpower.
You literally are so much faster than everyone on the field, and he just chooses to not exploit it.
If he's a ninth round pick, he's one of those mobile quarterbacks that falls towards the double digit rounds. You highlight and target those guys. That's why Jaden Daniels was my guy for Andy because he was the last drafted quarterback that
Yeah, that worked out pretty well. But this is the truth series. You're also going to go into next year seeing, hey, Kyler was a top 10 quarterback this year in fantasy. He finished as the quarterback 10. I mean, that was not the experience, and so I think you've got to pump the brakes and be cautious next year when drafting him.

That's what I was going to bring up. I think in super flex leagues, Brock Purdy is a name that I will be much more excited about because he is pretty consistent. He was the consistency rank of number eight. So that's great if you're drafting him as your second quarterback. The issue with Brock Purdy, and I think you will always have this issue, is the lack of great games.
He only had two games that qualified as great this season. He's not going to win you a championship. If you're in a single quarterback league, he's not taking you beyond the playoffs to win championships. It's just not his style because this is a run-first team. If they're doing great, they're going to have rushing touchdowns.
Man, those were the good old days. Because I don't think that's what we're going to get at all. Those two teams are not the same. No. And one of those two teams is the worst. Just the absolute worst.
Yeah, I really do think he will be. Harbaugh wants to play defense and run the ball, but he was a quarterback, and he sees what he has in Justin Herbert. I mean, you just watch how he talks about Justin Herbert. Find yourself someone who loves you the way that he loves Justin Herbert.
The first month of the season, when they started out running, playing defense, they were only letting Herbert throw the ball 22 times a game on average. From that point forward, they had their bye week, and you saw 31 pass attempts a game. the rest of the season to a lot of success. I think they'll end up with a better weapon or two. I expect them to really try to get a tight end.
Maybe Tyler Warren, the rookie, I think he'll be associated with this team. Will Disley is fun. We love playing the drop. But his utilization showed how good a legitimately good tight end would be for this team. That would help in the run game. You know, kind of a dual threat tight end would be great.
So I think the talent of Herbert will not, you know, it won't be put to the side over the next five years for fantasy purposes.
They were 4-2, and they never recovered from the Hail Mary.
The normal NFL plays were not there for Caleb Williams. No, no sustained drive. He showed flashes of why he was drafted number one. I saw enough to believe that he will get better. I think bringing in Ben Johnson as the head coach is fantastic news for hopefully being able to develop Caleb Williams and give him a system where, hey, let's learn how to take the easy stuff
The on-time stuff, like let's work on you being on time. Hit that leg, hit that third, that fifth step, drop.
Unload. Bite your knee. Use the slot receiver more. I think that this will be really good for Caleb Williams' progress going forward. But rookie year was overall a disaster. The few games he had that were good were against Carolina, Jacksonville, Indy. The end of the year, a couple games against Detroit when they lost all their defensive players.
For the most part, when he played top half defenses, he was abysmal.
I'm on the optimistic side, but it's not... Like 70? No, I think I'm more like 60%. I think it's going to work out. I'll be interested in two years.
Yeah, yeah. He did have... I think he was playing the VR at half speed. You know what I mean? That's what it seemed like. It's so much faster. It's like, dude, speed it up in that VR.
That's my way of playing the video game.
We almost took him out of here. We took a couple of quarterbacks out to talk about. We're not going to talk about Aaron Rodgers today. Like you're just not even worth it? Yeah, it's just not worth it.
Some of those weeks, if you remember how the season got started, because we don't do this based on quarterback rank. We do it based on score. So, like, the first two weeks were great for him. You know, he was the quarterback seven, quarterback five, and that was maybe okay for fantasy. But as far as his performance, he didn't get 18 points in either of those weeks.
It wasn't a really good fantasy performance. It just kind of the league stunk to start the weeks.
Yeah, they're also clearly going to move on from Tyler Lockett. He's going to cost them too much money. So maybe at this point in the career it's addition by subtraction, but it is subtraction of a really valuable asset that Geno's used for the last several years.
Really? I do.
Yeah, I mean, we don't know if he's going to play football next year and he stunk this year. What was the truth? The truth is he stunk this year.
Based off of what evidence?
Yeah, the data was between the ears. Just both your eyes and your brain. If you watched it, it was not a good experience. And I doubt he plays football next year. It's certainly not going to be for the Jets. And I don't look out there and see a bunch of franchises that are like, I want to do what the Jets did this last year.
So here's the truth. The truth for Jordan Love, and we talked about it throughout the season. It was a touchdown problem. in part caused by Josh Jacobs' greatness. Josh Jacobs, to start the season, we spoke about the touchdown regression, how many carries he had without scoring a touchdown on the season, and that pendulum, I mean, that thing got momentum the other direction and flew off the
whatever the middle part of a pendulum is.
The last 10, the hanger? I don't know. What?
I'm saying this thing, it was propelled and it flew off because Josh Jacobs scored two or three touchdowns, it seems like, every single week. The last 10 games, Jordan Love, who last season and to start this season, His touchdown percentage was really, really good. He was great in the red zone. He always got it done there.
flopping is a 15 yard foul flopping should be penalized for sure so that you don't not incentivize doing it because in truth it's a smart play like he should do that if this was if i'm a chiefs fan i'd be like why didn't you throw your hands up and fall over because draw the penalty there's nothing to lose only 15 yards to gain yeah first down 100 so i put a poll out this morning because i love i love greatness i i
And then the last 10 games of the season, if you put that on a 17 full season game pace, 17 total touchdowns. You can't have that for fantasy.
So going forward next year, do you expect them to continue the recipe of writing Josh Jacobs and making that the foundation of this offense? Yes.
He's the quintessential pocket passer that is good enough to have a great season. and not great enough to be reliable the way that Joe Burrow. Joe Burrow, to me, if he doesn't get injured, he will be good as a pocket passer every single season for fantasy football purposes. A Jordan Love, a C.J.
Stroud, these guys have to have the phenomenal passing touchdown season, and that's just not a sticky stat.
There's not a bunch to discuss. He was very mid-level, and I really wanted to make sure that in today's episode we got to Anthony Richardson and Bryce Young. Oh, I can't wait. Those two players have a little bit more conversation needed for next year.
This was, I would say, a pretty good hit for us in draft season. He was on our bust list in the ultimate draft kit. We brought up a lot of the similarities between Baker Mayfield's amazing rookie season when they then bring in Odell Beckham Jr. And it's hard to remember it, but sophomore year, he was the most overdrafted.
It's a guarantee that you're going to see a complete level up, which needs to happen to be drafted that high. And you just don't want to draft guys at the presumed level up that we haven't seen yet. None of us thought it would be this bad by any means. I mean, C.J. Stroud was one of the most fun players to watch in his rookie season.
I grew up, I mean, we all did. We grew up diehard Phoenix Suns fans. Like in Arizona, that was all there was. And our Charles Barkley era, we didn't get a championship. Why? Because of Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan stopped us from having enjoyment in life. Dude, I love Michael Jordan. Everyone loved Michael. You didn't get tired of watching Jordan Jordan. You were like, that's greatness.
And going forward now, I think there are a lot of questions, especially for fantasy purposes, is very Jordan Love.
Yeah, even these really, really bad fantasy games, you don't watch from an NFL perspective and think, man, C.J. Stroud, he really doesn't have it. Oh, he's not that good. It wasn't like that.
Yes, it was Joe Mixon, the same way with Josh Jacobs for Jordan Love. It was C.J. Stroud is playing good ball. He's doing what he needs to win NFL games. But for fantasy football purposes, he's not running the ball. And if the touchdowns go in the running game, which now with Joe Mixon instead of Damian Pierce, a lot more likely – That's just not okay for fantasy.
If you don't throw at least two passing touchdowns in a game while you're not a mobile rushing quarterback, you're taking an L at that position.
5.9. Mike was the one that really, you know,
I think the Raiders need to hire Bobby Slowik. I would love to see that as their head coach.
Yeah, just take them off this team so they got to get Stroud someone new.
Where's Jaden Daniels go next year? Like second, third round? He will go very early.

I want that. I wasn't tired of watching the homes win championships when it was fun. And when they were like an entertaining team that didn't seem like this boring, plodding, villainous, villainistic, you know, that's new type of team. So I put a poll out this morning. I said in the year 2025, how do you feel about the Kansas City Chiefs? three options. I'm a Chiefs fan. I still like the Chiefs.

I think that is going to be what the case is.
Yeah, I don't know how much I want to give credence to the narrative of the concussion worries. Get the ball out quick. Don't let plays develop down the field that can put Tua at more risk. It still worked. You know, they won games down the stretch where they were really close. You know, they started so poorly, especially with Tua's injury, lost a lot of games.
They dug themselves a hole that wasn't really their fault, and they did get close to the playoffs. So you can't really argue it didn't work. And even from a fantasy perspective, the second half he was the consistency rank of the quarterback 14, not winning you championships by any means, but so much better than what we saw earlier in the season.
I would imagine it's more of the same, especially since they decided to keep McDonald's at head coach. He's McDonald's now? Yeah, he's always been McDonald's. You don't know, do you? No. Yeah, he's been McDonald's.
That's Seattle. No. He's McDaniels. No. Check tape. McDonald's. Kyle. Kyle. But that's not his name.
No, I know. I know. But where it started, I'm pretty confident that McDonald's was Mike McDaniel.
Oh, okay.
Checkdowns and bombs. I'm going to say he's 10th.
I can't stand the Chiefs. And 76% are on I can't stand the Chiefs.
On deep throws or just in general?
We'll go 43.
I'm crushing this.
Like, I don't think he checked down a lot. He had screens, but he didn't check down.
Well, look at his second half, right? We talk about the consistency score in the second half. He was number five. That's because in those games that he did play, and he exited some of those. He had 28 points, 20 points, 21 points in three of the five. The others, though, 13.9 and 13, it's really – you can get big game-winning performances with him.
That might be true. Genuinely, to start next season, if a month in he's played four bad games, they're going to put the hook out there and pull him off stage.
We did not see on film. things that made me believe it will get fixed. But what we did see on film was incredible ability when it worked. His deep passes that connected were amazing. His physicality, his running ability, and goal line touchdowns were what you want. They were Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts-esque. And so this is a player because of how
bad he was so often, I don't think he gets gassed up next year.
That was the worst thing I've ever seen.
Why did you come off the field? Were you hurt? Oh, no, I was just tired.
He levels up or he flames out. You're right, Andy. He's not going to be the quarterback for 17 games next year unless he is good. So I will be drafting him next year.
The hope for him has always been, and the reason he was drafted so high is really Josh Allen and the transition that he was able to make as a quarterback that had a 50%-ish completion percentage for a year and a half. And then they got Stephon Diggs. He leveled up. He became a good quarterback. more consistent.
If you watch the first year or two of Josh Allen, you got head-scratching throws that were just like, man.
Now that we know, let's just ask Who that guy? That guy and like five VR headsets.
That was something. That was out of control. It's all right. Only two pumps. Yeah, three is the penalty. Yeah. The nice thing is, you know, the second half of the year, and for fantasy purposes, what I hope we get from Bryce Young, I think a lot of times he's really seen or assumed because he was a timing passer and he's a smaller guy that's not this –
incredible athlete that he's pure pocket passer but you know after that bye week when he got back in he was on pace for 432 rushing yards that is a real that's that's a dual threat you know that's kind of the numbers we're talking about with with Bo Nix where you you have games where he's rushing for 30 to 50 yards it's not every game but at least it can provide you a way for they're going to add another wide receiver here right they tried to get Deontay Johnson to fix the problem
And, uh, I've got good news for you right now. It appears to be 23 degrees and 17 mile an hour winds for the upcoming contest. So I don't think we're going to get that crazy, amazing back and forth affair.
I think he'll be a very good quarterback two to draft in fantasy. When we're looking at these guys who are going to be drafted, either not drafted in single quarterbacks or if you're in a super flex league and they're drafted 13 through –
through 32 he'll probably be a better value than the guys around him the truth about Bryce Young is that he will be an NFL quarterback I think for a little while which didn't seem like was going to be the case when Andy Dalton took over it is really nice to be drafted with the number one pick because I think if he was a second round if he was a Will Levis he never would have gotten the opportunity again
Saquon is breaking it. Yeah, you looked at me like you had stared at these documents. Dude, he's not number one. I mean, I'm going to auto-make him number one because according to our metrics.
Well, we don't have a historical comp for, like, games over 30 points. Like, he's not getting enough credit for the incredible games, which he had five of.
Yeah? Wow. They really are.

Always seems so calm, under pressure. The moments don't seem to get to him. He does not appear rookie-like in any way, shape, or form. And I know, going back to the VR thing, when we were talking about him as a college prospect, he was talking about that was what he was giving credit for His transition from the ASU quarterback we saw to the LSU sensation, he said it was the VR stuff.
So I didn't know until this weekend that when he was... And Malik neighbors.
And Brian Thomas Jr. The weapons certainly helped, but he doesn't have them for the commanders. It is interesting. I'm sure next year a lot of programs will be picking up the VR headsets, putting them on, saying less Call of Duty, more VR.
It's just sad because, like, I've already seen the tweets. You know, you knew they were coming. It was so predictable that, like, oh, Lamar can't win in the playoffs. It's like, Lamar, what's not? I know Lamar had the phone, but Lamar was there. He was, you know, they could win the game if Mark Andrews catches the two-point conversion that was in his hands.
The turnovers were huge this week. If you look at the losing teams, all four losing teams – outgained the winning teams in total yardage the the texans the lions the rams and the ravens all had more production in yardage but lost the game yep yep yep all right uh let's talk some more news news and notes from around the league presented by usaa insurance

Oh, they can absolutely. If there's anyone that can do it, it's Jerry.
You don't usually see the gray beards so manicured.
Oh, yeah. Dude, he could get a great beard dye commercial.
And they didn't have Diggs. They didn't have Tank Dell.
Yeah, it was tough sledding. But, yeah, I mean, I think right now you have to – You go into next year assuming you don't have Tank Dell. Certainly for fantasy football, he's not going to be on the radar.
It sounded like he plans to play next year, but not sure how well. You know, he's not sure, you know, what type of player he is anymore.
I think he could go Adam Thielen somewhere. You know what I mean? Go and be a productive player for a team that needs someone, and we're going to break. Sorry, Coop. We love you. Big Cooper Cup fan, but we got it.
Touch of gray for Cooper? He will be 32 next year. Jokes to be made, you know?

David Montgomery is out for the year. That was the news we missed. It broke moments after releasing yesterday's show. Out for the year.
Welcome in. Here we are. Round two. December 17th. The Fantasy Footballers Podcast. Semi-final week in the majority of fantasy leagues. But maybe more important than all of that, the Monday Night Football games are over.
It's a devastating blow. I know there are teams with buys. Maybe Montgomery didn't get you through last week with that performance, but... I know Kyle the Borgogan. He's got a team on a bye. He wasn't very happy about this, and it's because Montgomery's been so solid.
Derek Carr probably not back before the end of the season. We got word that his broken hand is a few weeks away. Alvin Kamara undergoing more tests on the injured groin.
You just paid Alvin Kamara. Why would you put him out there?
You're waiting for him for the next season.
And you're going into Lambeau on Monday night.
I have made, like, in the one team that I have in the semifinals with him, he's on the bench. I'm not expecting to have him. I'm not expecting to play him, and I'm not sure he's worth the wait in this Green Bay matchup.
How do they give him a full allotment of snaps, though?
I'm doing the exact same thing with Romandre. I'm playing Romandre Sunday morning instead of Kamara on Monday.
I really, yeah, this is one of the biggest stories heading into the semifinal week is certainty on Alvin Kamara and then by extension certainty on Kendrick Miller as a start. He could get a lot of checkdowns. He can catch the football.
You could be in a sincere McCormick situation.
Joe Mixon talked about it, the hip drop tackle. D'Amico Ryan says he came out fine. Joe will be fine. It just freaks me out, man, because Joe Mixon – That's a fart in the wind, man.
You're saying that we need to wait and see what the practice reports say.
Houston is sitting at 9-5. There is a chance that they could take the two-seed from Buffalo. Yeah, in your bra. There's two. Well, I mean, yeah, Buffalo would have to lose. You ready for this schedule for Buffalo? Uh-huh. New England this week, and then the Jets, and then New England.
No, no. So that's that's freaky. That that's that's a scary one to me. And we'll be monitoring it. Patrick Mahomes might be out in Week 16. They still have a two-game lead on the 1C. By the way, Houston's the Saturday game this week. We have multiple Saturday games this week. And then there's a Christmas game the next week for championship week. But isn't there a matchup this week?
Wait, there's a Christmas?
You don't have to watch them anymore.
It's both. Christmasfootball.com. We own that, right?
All right. We own them all, baby. This is where the money is made. We license that out. Bingo, bingo.
Goes up. Gino Smith, hopeful to practice this week. Al is having a good time back there. Jalen Waddle will not need surgery on his knee. Nothing major in question for the week.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, the truth is there's a lot of stuff we're monitoring this week, and it's Tuesday, and it's waiver day, and we'll talk about options if you need them, and then we will keep track of stuff and let you know what to do this weekend.
Mike is a man of fewer words than a man of few words would be.
Yeah, if I told you he was healthy right now, how confident would you be to put him in your lineup next week? Mildly? Yeah, barely. Barely? All right. I think that is it by way of news. Is there anything else, Al? Have you got anything for us? I think you got it. Any other of my players on my roster getting stronger heading into the semifinal?
So he gets his name mentioned because he's got his appendix? No appendix? No, he gets his name mentioned.
No, he won't. You don't think he's playing this week? I mean, active or not, he's the third, fourth string on this team. I mean, Chris Brooks has looked good. No, he hasn't. Okay. All right. Yeah, the unplayed Marshawn Lloyd. Take it from Jason, the start of the week. That was today's News & Notes presented by USAA Insurance. Learn more at USAA.com. We'll take a break.
We'll talk about waivers not named Marshawn Lloyd.

And that beard was $2 on Timu. Yeah.
$2 for 10 wigs? I'd like one wig for $10 that doesn't fall apart.
Yeah, we suffered for multiple weeks. All right, running backs. Now, I am, on first glance, not seeing Lloyd in this list, but I am seeing Jerome Ford at the tippy top of this list, who has a magnificent matchup, who, in my opinion, on film, watching him every week, has looked like not just a better runner than Nick Chubb, but a pretty... Good runner, receiver all year long. So Jerome Ford?
I believe he switched over to mash reruns. Yes. I mean, I think that's what he put the theme song like that. Yeah, no, I think, uh, I think he was disappointed. I think that would have been a pick me up. Maybe you would have seen him today. Uh, but we don't know. We don't know when he'll be back.
You also need to remember that before Chubb returned, when he was more of the full-time back, he was on pace for 72 receptions on the season. I think it's going to be Dorian Thompson-Robinson for multiple reasons. I don't think it does the team any good to put Winston out there anymore.
I also believe that if you don't come out and basically say, hey, Jameis is our guy right after the game, more often than not, It's not that guy, so that can help the running game. I think Dorian Thompson-Robinson can help the running game.
I don't think the numbers back that up.
I disagree. I disagree.
James Winston was on base for 700-plus attempts. The offensive system and the focus on the running game, which is what made the Browns running backs valuable for years, was predicated on them not throwing the ball 700 times a year. And it's not like Jameis Winston. I mean, what'd they score? Six points or something last week? I mean, they have not been moving the ball down into scoring range.
So to me, I'm indifferent on the total touchdown situation there. And I think they hand the ball off. I think it's a game plan built not around Jerry Judy, but built around Jerome Ford. And that's all I'm saying. I'm not saying that the offense will score more points, but I'm saying that he'll get more opportunities than he would have with Winston.
It's been – yeah, it's unfortunate that we've gone the direction we did with Winston. I mean, they scored seven points against Kansas City, 14 against Pittsburgh the week before.
You're still very Winston Bullish.
I'm fine with Judy, but beyond that, I mean, we just saw Will Levis get benched against Cincinnati last week, and I don't know. He's playing some pretty crappy football.
Can you imagine Cincinnati? I mean, we probably have a line already. I'm guessing they are. Where's the game?
Eight and a half point favorites?
Yeah, so that implied point total, a lot of that's going to Cincinnati.
Yeah, yeah. Tajay Spears. So that's the next big name. He scored twice last week. Tony Pollard re-injured his ankle. We don't have any further reports on Pollard. He's been playing through injury. He's been finding a way to start games even when it didn't seem like he was going to, so that could happen again, a la DeAndre Swift for the Bears missing practices. But Spears?
It could be DTR and Mason Rudolph, which is the most likely.
Kendra Miller, we talked about him already in the context of Kamara. If we get more, you know, it's hard. I would go hard in the paint for all three of those guys if they were somehow out there, which, by the way, they wouldn't be mentioned on this show if they were rostered in 50% or more of leagues. They're not.
No, it didn't happen. I mean, Jefferson did enough for your team. Aaron Jones did enough for your team last night in the 30-12 shellacking by the Vikings. You... You know, Keenan got it going again.
You know, probably a little bit higher in playoff situations right now, but, you know, Kendra Miller is still 16% rostered, and I would throw everything at picking up those three players. Put them in the order you think is most suitable for your roster, but bid everything on those three guys if they're out there.
Yeah, the value of the backup is diminishing exponentially right now.
Yeah. And even if you're not blocking, I would be dropping the backups for these guys who might have prolonged value.
Um, what is the, is, is Ty Johnson is some sort of mirage or is this a new, I don't, I don't understand.
I don't know what he is, man. I don't know what he is. Is he a third string running back?
Is he the number one passing back? I mean, it
I think Gainwell might be in play as well as an add. Kenneth Gainwell looked good in the passing game, and we really don't know how banged up Saquon is. If you are Philly... you've got to make a decision on what's most important. He's got a lot of tread on the tires this year. Saquon does. And if you don't have him for the playoffs, you're in trouble.
So as the practice reports go on, Kenneth Gainwell, in our league of records, somebody threw him on the roster Sunday morning. I believe it was you, Jason? Yeah, it was. Doesn't matter because Al kicked me out. And Barkley's not talking about his injury, but he missed the second quarter, and he only handled a little bit of work over the second half.
Yeah, kind of got it going at the end.
Wide receivers that you want to keep your eyes open for, to me, is Jalen McMillan is the headline.
Yeah, because... Well, look at you. Because I don't... Look, we're coming in here every week, and we're repeating names that don't matter. At the top of the waiver list. So I want – if I'm going into the fantasy playoffs, I think that Jalen McMillan matters. You know, we've said Cuge for 1,000 weeks because guess what? He just keeps getting dropped and picked up and dropped and picked up.
I'm not saying if Cuge is out there you shouldn't pick him up. I just think – You would pick Cuge up over McMillan, right?
No.
No, because I'm living in the vacuum, the single vacuum of a one-week situation, and I prefer Jalen McMillan this week than I do the Denver matchup for Cuge where Ladd McConkie's the target hog. It's a touchdown prayer for Cuge, and I think McMillan. We saw what Godwin did in the offense. He's finally getting the opportunity. Six for 75 and a touchdown. And guess what? We know what Cuge is.
We don't yet know. what Jalen McMillan's potential is.
Trayvon Diggs is out for the season now. I mean, this is a huge opportunity for Tampa. They're going to score a lot of points. Controlled weather environment. Not up in Denver. Figuring it out. A team that's kind of going down. That's just my... Is this like another McMillan touchdown guarantee? There's barely... He barely has room to score more touchdowns. He's scoring so many.
So I'm McMillan, huge. And then beyond that, you know...
boring, non-competitive. You knew both games were over instantly. Worthless game. That's the biggest part to me. You knew that the Raiders couldn't beat the Falcons, even if the Falcons tried to beat themselves. Oh, and they did. Kirk Cousins had 112 yards in the pick and a touchdown.
I mean, they've been the last two weeks. Yeah, he's a rookie. So we'll disagree there. I mean, I feel like the baseline for McMillan is going to be higher. You know, Bateman is definitely a home run threat. He's had zero catches against Philly the week before, but then last week had the two touchdowns. So it's, I'm still McMillan, man. Sure. You also have the easy matchup.
We don't agree a lot today.
There you go.
Watson over Dobbs.
I just want a shot at the way Ladd-McConkie's come on in the back part of the season. The fact that this is the Baker-Mayfield offense, that the running game is banged up and hurt. That's the way I lean. Now, none of these are – these are not must-starts. Nobody in this wide receiver category is a guaranteed must-start, although I do consider Cuge, McMillan, and probably –
Probably Bateman as, as flex worthy plays. Another name that you have to bring up is Malik Washington in Miami because Malik Washington, it's a, it's a San Francisco matchup, but he already caught five passes last week. They let go of Odell Beckham and Jalen Waddell is injured. And so you're looking at this situation where, you know, we caught what three more passes than Tyreek did.
My dart throw, my – Our dart throw. Oh, because you're – Fireball. Nope. Oh, all right.
My dart throw, my – don't be surprised if he has a huge week and you didn't see it coming and he's still on waivers next week. Is Jalen Coker of the Carolina Panthers? That's Coker, Al.
As you've always – as you looked up and verified. This is the deep threat for Carolina. Adam Thielen's going to be your underneath and your dink and dunk, but you've lost Xavier Leguette, and he's not really a deep threat type of guy anyways, and Jalen Coker is. Jalen Coker is a physical force. He played 80-plus percent of snaps.
He had four for 110 in a touchdown against Dallas, and if you want to take a shot, because you are just ravaged by injuries, that'd be your guy.
Jason, I wonder what the kind of next piece of the Lions offense is going to be without Montgomery. Like, is there going to be more involvement from a secondary option or more involvement from Laporta? Like, I think Laporta could be more of a focal point where, look, you have to understand this team isn't going to just – they're not just going to run Montgomery packages with Gibbs every play.
What's up, Foot Clan? This episode is brought to you by Viore. Viore is performance apparel that's designed for working out, but it doesn't look or feel like it. And let me tell you, the Ponto Performance Jogger, it's a game changer. It's part of Viore's Dreamknit collection. It's soft. It's super soft. and lightweight.
They're going to do what is in their best advantage when it comes to structuring this offense. We used to know what they do. They go out with their huge, giant personnel and run Montgomery. That's not how they're going to use Gibbs. They may use them sometimes like that. but they're going to kind of conform to the personnel that they have, and Laporta is a weapon that's been waiting in the wings.
Maybe it's some Tim Patrick. Maybe it's Jamison Williams. I think we're going to see some different stuff. Maybe it's more Jared Goff in general because— I think it will be more Jared Goff.
All right, we'll take a break. We'll jump into tight ends where we agree on everybody.
Did you see that they threw on first down one out of 24 times?
All right, we're into the tight ends, and we agree on everyone because there's not really anybody.
Target for the Jacksonville went to Brian Thomas or Brenton Strange last week with Mac Jones. It's a great matchup against Las Vegas, but I have gone through this exercise. I don't think that I'm going to sit Otten down for strange even if I got him on the waivers.
I don't think I'm going to do that.
I've been through this whole exercise. I knew bringing it up with submarine, any attempts of me getting Britain strange on the waiver wire in our league of record to fill in for, for, for Kate Otten. I've been through the exercise. And to me, it's the highest over under the week in the Tampa game. Who's going to score a touchdown?
I mean, Britton Strange, if I told you a player got 11 receptions in a game, you'd be like, that's a dominant week. This was not a dominant fantasy week.
Yeah, it was 73 yards. He didn't score. The odds of them scoring are low. I'm not saying Britton Strange is going to have a bad week and he's unstartable. I'm just saying I'm going to go with the odds that Baker throws three to four touchdowns. And I'm just going to hope that one of them is to Kate Otten. It's not like they haven't taken shots to him.
I'm just going to hope that that's the situation.
And it sucks.
Because of untapped upside that we don't know about.
To smart him. It would be hard to smart him, right? Yeah. Boston.
Well, I mean, I don't feel any of these tight ends, so I shouldn't have even taken a shot.
What do you like there?
You know, that's going to be my defense this week in the semifinals. Cardinals are a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde on defense, but I'm going to just hope that even if, you know, if Bryce plays well for three quarters, one bad quarter from Bryce could be enough to support a good performance. My favorite defense of the week is the Packers. It's gotten even better.
I mean, no Camara, no Carr, no Olave, no Buddy.
And then the Raiders against Jacksonville and Jacksonville against the Raiders. Both directions kind of work, although I wouldn't do it with the Raiders because I'd play Jacksonville defense if I'm desperate, but I wouldn't do the Raiders defense against the – Did you watch the Mac Jones highlights? Did you watch the Mac Jones bravado in this game?
I believe that Mac Jones is doing the one thing that you should be doing in your situation. If you're a backup quarterback, by the way, he was, when you say, are there any highlights? He was a top 10 quarterback last week. He attempted 46 passes and he supplied, he supplied not Britain strange with 11 catches, but Brian Thomas with all those catches. I would say Brian Thomas supplied Mac Jones.
I mean, Mac Jones threw for 300 yards. Mac Jones did what you're supposed to do when you get a chance. Don't come in and be a Desmond Ritter, Dink Dunk Fest. Just chuck it. Winston's done this for years. Flacco's done it. Come in and show another team. Mac Jones is playing for a job. Show another team that you could maybe be a starter someday.
Well, it's one of the best ways that I've seen strategically, and I've been around the game for a long time. If you run on first down, that is guaranteed to not be a pass by Kirk Cousins.
You never know. They pick them out of a hat right before the game.
Well, that's going to dovetail poorly into this next segment.
Because my streaming quarterback is Aaron Rodgers against the Rams. Following up on Difference Makers, the Rams defense is 28th against quarterbacks over the last six weeks, 31st against wideouts. A lot of risk there for me. I think there will be a lot of points scored in that game. So I think Aaron Rodgers is actually a streamable option.
Yeah, I just—I mean, both. Both are fine. Both are in the exact same category. Both could suck, and both could be great. But Rodgers has got a couple good weeks in a row, and, you know, it's tight. It's close. Flip a coin. Don't play either. I mean, we're not in a position here, by the way. This waiver show feels weird to me in some regards.
I know we've got to do it, and there might be a nugget here or there. Most people— Most people have got players to play this week. I mean, that's why you're here. I mean, David Montgomery goes out. You probably got a guy on your bench that's better than most of the guys you're picking up. Maybe you end up able to grab a Spears or grab a Ford, and that would be awesome. Ford would be outstanding.
He can't do either of those if he doesn't get the opportunity to.
But if not, maybe you're playing defense more than you're playing offense in some of these leagues.
Yeah, pick him up. Falcon, will you bring those in here real quick because we're going to close the show out. I forgot we had to show these off, but we do have some sweet swag. If you notice, there's a new custom helmet on the center of our table, and the folks at Green Grid Iron hooked us up with that. We have many helmets for the first time. These have been requested for years.
So if you want mini helmets, Jason's got the white one. I got the black one. They're all on shop ballers.com and we'd love to get them out to you so you can display them. They'd go nice right next to like a championship trophy.
It's not a bad idea. Thanks for joining us back tomorrow with the two of us and maybe Mike or a bear or a bear. We'll find out. Catch you then.
Is he going to start next year?
He was firing phasers before Baker had lasers.
Yeah, I mean. He's got $300 million to comfort him at night. You know, if you're a Brock Bowers manager going into a semifinal because you survived his three for 35 night, you need to get on your knees and pray that it's not Desmond Ritter again. 39 passing attendance for Desmond Ritter ending up in three for 35 for your superstar tight end.
It's not that it's much better with Aiden O'Connell either.
Yeah, this is like a factorial thing. This is like Gardner Minshew was much better than Aiden O'Connell for Brock Bowers. Sure, yeah. And then Aiden O'Connell's much better than Desmond Ritter, and Desmond Ritter's much better. Barely better than you.
And what I like about it is I can wear it, it looks casual, and then I can go, I can play some pickleball in those things. It's a performance jogger. It looks great. It's perfect for the low-impact workouts, or maybe I'll play some one-on-one, maybe that high-impact workout too. Or maybe you're doing some yoga or some stretching, or even sitting at the desk in the studio.
Okay, yeah, and I'm glad we broke that down. And we had an injury to Sincere McCormick. That was a monstrous injury. you know, significant situation for fantasy managers because he left with an injury. It went to Madison after that. He did nothing with the seven carries he had before the injury.
And so, um, you know, this is one of those things where like in a few years, we'll probably be saying like, do you remember that guy sincere McCormick that was relevant for like a week? I doubt we'll remember his name. Probably not moving on.
Well, I didn't realize that you had picked out a Difference Maker as well, Jason.
I mean, it would be bad in second.
You walked right into that. Well done. Yeah, I'm going to walk off too. Okay. Another one? I'm on baseball fire, baby. It's pretty good. It's pretty good.
Yeah, I like it. J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets. We talked yesterday about Unready to Roll, incentives for players. We are talking about incentives for teams coming down the stretch. I talked about Houston. They don't have a real shot to change their playoff position. It's what freaks me out about Joe Mixon this week is that
Joe Mixon had another one of those hip drop tackles happen to him where that's where he missed three games earlier in the year. So as far as we know right now, he's going to be active. But if he was banged up and I was Houston, I wouldn't play him. So we talk about team incentives. We talk about player incentives. I'm going to talk about a pride incentive.
I'm going to talk about a trend that is happening right now. And this is Difference Maker. So I thought about this. And to me, it is the Jets. Aaron Rodgers has been a top 10 quarterback. Each of the last two weeks, I was so close to throwing Rodgers, Adams, Wilson in against the Jags last week in our DraftKings lineup. I was a coward. I didn't do it.
Fortunately, still am not to shame, mercifully. But believe it or not, Garrett Wilson and Devontae Adams right now are top. They are top. Two of the top 12 fantasy wideouts.
Whatever you do, it'll keep you comfortable for hours without sacrificing style. And they're my go-to for relaxing days at home. Go to Viori.com. to get 20% off your first purchase. Exclusions apply. Visit the website for full terms and conditions.
And Rodgers in his last four games, that's a full season pace of 4,234. You know, that's a 34-4 touchdown to interception ratio. That's more vintage Rodgers. We don't know how banged up he was, but the matchups, the Rams – And then Buffalo, who, yes, they win, but they give up 40 a game?
Yeah, but they've been bad in terms of giving up total points, and I think that Rodgers and Adams are a couple of guys at this stage of their career that, look, you're not playing for a playoff spot. But there's a lot of pride there. There's a lot of pride in showing some signs of what they were capable of on the offensive side, and we're seeing it.
And I think they're going to be difference makers down the stretch, playing the Rams at home, playing the Bills on the road, where the defense has been awful.
Yeah, he cares about being a legend on the field.
On the cusp, but I don't think he's a – Well, he's in an ideal situation where he literally can focus on himself because there's no playoffs. Exactly.
So I'm sure Al Borland is really thrilled to hear that as he has Devontae Adams rostered, made the trade midseason, and I applaud it. We're a keeper league. We have players that even when they're injured, they have value. He managed to turn the Brandon Ayuk injury into Devontae Adams for the remainder of the season.
Oh, are you doing a formal endorsement?
Yeah, that's wonderful. I'm thankful. I would do the same in your position. Now, move on to your difference maker.
Yeah, this was like we didn't get to talk about it yesterday.
Thank you, Santa.
Okay.
You know what's a slight encouragement there, too, is the fact that there are now three teams in the NFC at 12-2, and there's one by.
At first, I thought, is this a guy who's trying to get FaceTime, and he thought the camera wasn't on him yet, so I'm going to try to do it again. He does have OCD.
I'm guessing he needed it to be even because he missed the kick. So that's how that works.
It was one of the hardest doinks I can remember.
Perfect. What? I mean, it's where he should have been all along.
A lot of times when you want the money, going somewhere new, people will shell out more for you than just renewing your contract.
Andy, literally as we were talking, a statement came out from Jerry Jones. Am I defending him, by the way? You were so super wrong.
You're just explaining his position. There's a lot of A lot of words in this statement of just, we did this, we looked at everything, the staff, and we, whatever. But I think the most important part, the climax of this is, prior to reaching the point of contract negotiations, though, it became mutually clear that it would be better for each of us to head in a different direction.
This is Jerry Jones saying, this isn't money. This was not money. We decided before that, before talking about money, everybody, and everyone believes you, Jerry.
Yeah, we don't know if that's in their protocol or not. And they also have an insurance against the cap for injury. I don't pretend to be an expert on this, but what I saw was that some of that cap money the following season would come back. So yeah, maybe they do get off the hook a little bit here thanks to the second re-rupture of the Achilles.
And that might sound like, why is this news? If you hadn't heard or seen him posting things all over about basically wanting out of playing for the Dolphins, including putting his face on the Antonio Brown photograph where he left mid-game, peace out, peace sign. Not a good look. Not a good look. Very funny. It was a delightful tweet. I very much enjoyed it.
But I was, you know, you saw that and you went, ooh. And that's why he has to come out and say that, no, things are good now.

I'll tell you, before we get into the footy awards, I feel like there should have been an extra category this year, which is... It's like the best show moment, but it's the best off-air show moment of the year because we've had a couple things around the office going crazy. Are you sharing this? Yes. Yes, including Cricket Gate. Cricket Gate just happened.
I don't know that we have time to explain this. Our entire... crew, programmers, deucers, y'all almost got fired today because someone put, and I don't know if you know this exists, and if you didn't, congratulations, because you can really hurt someone with this information. There are little chirping cricket bugs that chirp
I do not either. A lot of times, I'm going to be honest, I have cheated and looked. I have logged in, and I know who wins and by how much, and I don't have a clue.
anywhere between you're talking about it's a tiny little speaker it's an electronic device yes and it it chirps at random between 5 and 45 minutes and you can't find this thing and after a couple days you definitely can't find it when it comes from different areas Yeah, and so we were like, Friday we were threatened. We just knew it was Papa Josh, of course. It's like, okay, Josh.
It's a good goof. Get it. I'm sick of hearing this cricket. And then it just kept escalating and getting worse and worse. And so this morning, after the weekend, it was like.
I told Andy we move offices and we clean house, hire a whole new staff. Yeah, this is like Raiders-style stuff. You start all over. So we go out to the producers. I tell Falcon he's fired in one hour. So it doesn't matter whose fault it is. One hour from now, he's fired. Just completely, like, I put a timer on my watch, and I don't care if it was Josh that did it. We own this company.
We ain't living with that cricket gate. Josh, you're going to have to have that on your conscience. And then we tell everybody, because we pay for lunch every day here at the studio, and then we tell everybody, We're not paying for lunches anymore. Not while the cricket's happening. No, no, no. This is serious business. This is serious.
And apparently that, not firing Pingree, but threatening taking lunches away, allowed Jeremy to come clean. He gets his championship. He thinks he could do absolutely everything.
Yeah, there's a lot more to it than that.
That makes me very excited.
Do any of the deuces know? No. No? I mean, who packed it?
He took it out and then was like, that one's not enough. I'm getting more. And then he put it in the drop ceiling. We're looking under desks. We're looking everywhere.
Yeah. So, anyways, congratulations to Owl and thank you to our fans who have almost destroyed the company. Yeah, we almost burnt it down.
Impressive. Oh, man, I hope that everything's wrong inside.
Wow. Pretty much a landslide then with that many people, right?
That was my vote.
That was mine. And when you started with Josh or the sound, I was like, Jamar Allen.
All right, Andy. Well, I will read this one for you, even though it is your award. Please do. This is the Fantasy Reapers. Man of the Year. Which player's injury hurt fantasy managers the most? You had a four-pack here. Christian McCaffrey, Isaiah Pacheco, Chris Olave, and Chris Godwin. I'll be honest. The Christians, they all get hurt. Oh, that's right.
And then the only one who wasn't named Christian is Isaiah. I mean, come on. You're not too far off there. All right. So drum roll, please. And the winner with 88% of the vote. I think we know. No surprise. The first pick in your draft a lot of times, Christian McCaffrey.
He's totally fine and could have played in the playoffs. If they had made the playoffs, he was good to go. That is going to help him stay near the 101 this next year, and you know it's true. He won't be the 101, but he will still be in top of first round. Sixth pick.
That's fair. That's fair. He won't be at the 101, but he'll be in the first round. You'll get to a point where everyone's willing to take the risk of – Because you've had this before. You've had Christian McCaffrey disappear for years. Yeah, and he did it two years in a row. Right.
I think Tank Bigsby did hurt Travis Etienne this year. But what is insane is that, you know, it's like, it feels like. Tank Bigsby was awful. It feels like.
over the course of the season etn wishes his 3.7 he played 15 games like it feels like he missed half the season he didn't he only missed three games yeah he had 632 i'm sorry 558 yards rushing yards across 15 weeks yes yeah wait we had 558 yeah so do you bigsby had 766 rushing yards yeah on how many attempts did etn have
Yeah, we finally get a home playoff game, boys. Oh, gosh. Congrats to us.
It is juicy. I wish it happened earlier in the season. We've talked about And we've got the data to back this up. This has been a tip in the past that did not come true this season, which was that the waiver wire is usually so much more valuable in weeks one and two. Those guys hit and stick oftentimes. And that is true over the last decade. It wasn't really true this year.
Some of the biggest waiver wire pickups early on in this season They just turned out to kind of be flops like Isaiah Likely was, you know, he was the big spin, the big spin. Then it turned into not much. Bucky Irving was later in the year off of waivers several weeks in and totally worth it. All right, Jason, you are up. I'm up with the fantasy quarterback of the year.
Remember, this takes into account the draft position, the big game performances, impact to fantasy teams everywhere. Last year was Dak Prescott with the winning award, and this year the nominees are... Oh, that drum roll comes after?
Where's the rail? All right. The nominees are Lamar Jackson, who was the quarterback one. Josh Allen, also awesome, is the quarterback two. Burrow, fantastic. Jaden Daniels, rookie sensation. And the aforementioned waiver wire wonder, Baker Mayfield. And the winner is... Can I get the drum roll, please? The winner is... Wow. Jaden Daniels. 39% of the vote.
I thought for sure this would be Lamar Jackson. I thought it'd be Lamar. That's who I voted for. I actually did vote for Jaden Daniels. It's QB 14 all the way up to 40. Yeah, that's awesome. And he was a rookie. What's the percentage? The percentage was 39%. And who was runner up? Runner up was actually Baker Mayfield at 21. So people were taking into account. Drafting them late.
You know, because, you know, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, they were awesome. But you're spinning a second and third round pick for them.
If you had Jaden Daniels, you might have just won your championship because you got him so late. Owl, you had Jaden Daniels. You won your championship. I sure did. Against Lamar Jackson. So, I guess, footies. Hey.
jade oh yeah your footy is in the mail yeah you you're a you're a rookie in the nfl you may not know that yeah you don't you don't know we send them out by freight almost impossible to lift where they got to get craned in sometimes all right fantasy running back of the year
That is fantastic. Well-deserved. He was awesome this year. Fantasy-tight end of the year. Last year, Sam Laporta, a rookie. This year might be another rookie. Brock Bowers, who was drafted as the tight end nine, finishes the tight end two. Trey McBride, drafted at three, finished at three. Jonu Smith, undrafted, finished at four.
It was absolutely a landslide. And the runner-up, George Kittle, only 14%. So it was kind of split between the other three.
And Bowers, because you are a rookie, you need to know your footy is in the mail.

I think Brian Thomas was the breakout because it was far more surprising. Yes. Like mobile quarterback, you could see Jaden Daniels coming. Brian Thomas was the most surprising breakout.
I think it makes complete sense. Yeah, because it makes no sense. Well, it makes sense because Jaden Daniels was like he was the best. He was the rookie of the year, but he didn't break out as much as Brian Thomas did because Jaden Daniels was already drafted, you know, as the second pick in the NFL supposed to be great.
I mean, it's just like just small nuance. It's how in the NFL, you know, the MVP is not the offensive player of the year type of voting. So that's just how I see it. All right. Where are we? We are to the comeback player of the year. Which fantasy player amazed you the most in their return to relevance? You had J.K. Dobbins come back from the Achilles.
I was bringing it up. I was going to say, I know this idiot who picked the Chargers to make it to the Super Bowl, but you beat me off at the pass.
Kareem Hunt come back from not playing football. From the couch. Jonu Smith. Coming back from Arthur Smith. And Adam Thielen. From the grips of death. From the nap. He woke up just in time to hear this. And the winner is... With 48% of the vote, a clear winner, J.K. Dobbins.
And he really, you know, he was coming back from something people don't come back from. So that's an especially special treat.
Yeah, and you're also going to want probably 18-foot ceilings. Yes. If you haven't seen the footy, I mean, this is your first time. It's in the mail.
That's who I thought it would be. I actually voted for Jonathan Taylor.
Yeah, the Jonathan Taylor thing is interesting because it was – his running back 17 finish in the first round of the playoffs was the fumble through the end zone. And if that one play was just – he was so destructive. He was so good on the field through the fantasy playoffs.
That one play where it was really a breakaway touchdown, it wasn't a bad play, turned into a negative eight-point loss for you that – He would have been probably a top five running back, then the running back one, then running back one. But as someone who exited round one with Jonathan Taylor, maybe I shouldn't have voted for him. All right, we are to the biggest awards, the big of the big.
This is the good stuff. This is why you're here. It's the nickname of the year and the show moment of the year. Let me hear that special music. Yes, that's right. It is time for the nickname of the year. Last year's winner, Brett Rippin, Rippin Farts. But this year we have the Senator, Ben Sinnott. Sam Darnold as the prodigal son or the sacrificial baby. Vidal Sassoon from Kamani Vidal.
Estime Lauder from Audrick Estime. Kin Bone, Kenneth Walker. The Dominator in Jared Goff. Jen Nags for Jawan Jennings. The Bidet, Tyler Bidet, Laser Mayfield, Richard, Dick, Rashad White, and of course, Mike Sticky Gsicki. But the winner is... Laser Mayfield. Really? With 77% of the vote. Oh, that's not even close. Well, you voted for three. So, actually, the runner-up, Jennings, was at 52%.
Oh, that's right. And Kinbone at 33%. So, Laser, Jennings, Kinbone. Yes, sir. Stupid Walker didn't get hurt at the end. I think if Jennings was earlier in the season... Because Lazer, we got that the whole season long. We had the drop.
It was so crazy.
Okay, ready? I cannot find it. You still haven't found it. Okay. Ready? Hit it. And hit that button. Oh, my gosh. He has hit about 40 buttons.
Three, two, one. Hit it. Oh, wow. All right. And this is the guy that won the moment of the year? This guy won the show moment of the year. But now it's his time to shine.
Hitting the Jay Grizz song right now.
Oh, God.
Yeah. I mean, the thing is, is going back, one of the big knocks on Brian Thomas now appears to be almost a feather in his cap, which was he only had, like, the one breakout year of production. Because he was later, I think he played basketball, and so it was like you just didn't see enough in college to know for certain that he is going to translate.
First try.
How sweaty is he right now?
Oh, man. I am crying. Yeah. After winning the show moment of the year, Jeremy. Your biggest accomplishment.
He just retired. He got down. He's like, I'm done. I don't know how to do my job anymore.
Let's do it. Thank you so much for being along on the ride with us and this. Stupid show. We love you, and we appreciate your votes and our nonsense.
Spoiled the surprise.
I'm deep in them docs. And let me tell you, Kyler Murray's messing things up. Oh, dude. Kyler Murray's messing things up on the Truth Series. Yeah. Yeah.
Is that what we're learning? His truth is confusing. His truth is confusing. His truth is a lie? His truth is a lie. Really, when we get to the truth series, we'll talk about the splits, first half, second half, and that's really the truth for him. I think, and look. Call of Duty. We need. I mean, it's every year.
Like Kyler is a bummer of the year.
Right, right. Did that open it up for him? Is that what made it easy? But then once you have rookie season in the bag where he dominated the way he did with Mac Jones, you're like, this is the guy. So I love that hot take, just having him really be one of the elites of the elite.
Yeah. Wow. They're all LSU. Dude, LSU is pumping them out.
Well, speaking of LSU, Mike, why don't you hit them up with the next one?
Yeah. but they won instead the Broncos made the playoffs and my hot take is that the Broncos next year win the division over the Chiefs on the back of a superstar rookie running back This team is really good. I think Bo Nix is legit, and they have no running game whatsoever. They really need an Elvin Kamara. Yes, exactly.
Sean Payton has always had a group of really strong running backs, pass catchers, whether it was Ingram or Pierce Strong or Deuce McAllister. They need it all. He's always had a good running game, and that is so abhorrently absent from the Broncos. I think they fix it this year.

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, at the very least, every single competing team, every team that had aspirations to make a playoff run. you know, should have been in. And it'll be interesting for fantasy purposes because I think we'll hit year five next year of saying, well, Derrick Henry's probably too old.
Exactly. So at one point, I mean, I think we really did transition a handful of years ago to just saying he's different. I'm not betting against him, but it still hasn't been a strong enough bet for him.
So apparently the Chargers lost. In pretty large fashion, 32-12. It wasn't that egregious through the beginning of the game.
I do like thromped.
Nice. Yeah, I mean, we all know exactly what you mean because a lot of us watched that game.
That was a pure thromping.
I would say one of my bold predictions... was almost going to be that next year will be Mike Tomlin's final year as the Steelers head coach because it looked bad down the stretch. I think that that city is getting sick of not winning. I don't believe it will get better when Tomlin leaves.
I don't think Tomlin has had the personnel over the last eight years post Ben Roethlisberger to really make a run in the playoffs. He hasn't really had the quarterbacks there.
To qualify, auto policy must be active prior to Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
The quarterback situation is one of those where – It really, to a large degree, it's kind of like where are you drafting in a fantasy football first-round draft? Yes.
Yes, they are. Yeah, because they are stuck.
Exactly.
Yep. He is not willing to tank. And he could take a team of hodgepodge guys and get the most out of them.
I think he would look at you so hard that you'd punch yourself in the face.
Boom, boom, boom.
The game was really, really, really close the entire first half. They went into the half. It should have been tied 10-10. They missed the walk-off field goal at the end of the half. This was whatever second-half adjustments were made. The bills were much, much better. That was a second-half thromping. The whole game wasn't. I was like... I was kind of proud of the Bills, or of the Broncos.
I was kind of proud of them, like, You put up a real nice fight in that first half. No one saw you winning this game. First half.
No, just the first half.
And they lost a lot more players than just those wide receivers. It was not a fun game for Packers fans who feel like they were jobbed. We know that from Al Borland. How are you feeling about your Packers?
The Eagles are the better team. Their defense is outstanding.
That's so insane. I mean, it was his, like, what, fourth doctor? Yeah, when they got to before.
I'm saying that they met with, if you remember, when all the Montgomery news was coming out, it was, Oh, man. Surgery. Montgomery is toast. He's out for the season. And then they're like, well, we don't like that one. What do you say, doctor? He's like, no, I would have to operate on this thing. I don't like that either, doctor.
I still think it's a bummer.
You went so short. I was like, what time is it? I don't know.
The interesting thing.
I'm trying to pull the tweet just from memory. I don't have it in front of me, so I apologize who sent it out. But it was essentially breaking down the Steelers blitzed Lamar a lot. Yep. And then it broke down the percentage of targets when Lamar has been blitzed the targets that have gone to Flowers, and it's extremely high.
So it's like, okay, if you don't have the blitz release valve of Zay Flowers, somebody will have to step into that role and be efficient at it. Could that turn into a problem? Oh, it was FTN. Okay, thank you, Kyle.
His wide receiver target?
What's it at?
I was going to guess right around 50%.
I think that is – Great news?
Considering the way the injury looked, him being carted off, ruled out immediately, it was, oh, no, something's broken or something's torn.
Unfortunately, I have to root against the Chargers with every fabric of my being now.
So I apologize for that.
Durham got the – Which his name, by the way, is Devin Culp.

Yeah.
A lot of intelligence. A lot of intelligence. Jeremy, is your trophy not there? What are you doing, man? I think Josh must have moved it.
The question, when will we see Andy on Survivor?
Do they ask?
And even, I mean, then when you get, if you're the first one kicked off, you're still sequestered, right?
So no matter what, you're gone for that time.
Come on, man.
Jeff Probst.
It's a question for you, too. Fantasy Hitmen was the only one I remembered.
It was never seriously considered, but we had a list. It's weird because Andy and I have the memories of, I can see he hand wrote all these things on notebook paper. And I can see it in my head. I just can't remember any of the other names. But of the list of names, Andy was like, he's over here with his business savvy tech mind of fantasy footballers. This could be a good name.
And I'm like, that name's kind of funny. We should go with that. Yeah, yeah. We can get the domain.
That was part of it.
We're going to do fantasy football.
What's that fantasy football show I like? Fantasy football.
Oh, so this isn't, this is a very, very specific, just the one sandwich.
I can, uh, cause it was like two months ago.
I don't know if it was. It's recency bias, of course. But it was this good that it was like a sandwich. Bought one just for me and the wife to split. And then as soon as both of us start eating, we're like, oh, man, we have made a mistake. Oh, the splitting was a big mistake. Yeah, bought another. Yeah, well, we were already home. But it was from, it's a chain. So it's Ike's sandwiches.
Ike's loving sandwiches. But it was a form of a Reuben. Dude, that's my answer. But it was basically, it was more of a New Yorker, not a real Reuben, because it was coleslaw instead of kraut.
Nope, put that one back at the top. Rubin Town? New Yorker.
It's coleslaw or sauerkraut. But, oh, my gosh, we had this place called Miracle Mile. You get a New Yorker there. You put that thing on a roll. That was a young man's game. Oh, I'll do it right now.
Get it on the mic, brother.
Dude, that sandwich was unbelievable.
Okay. Okay. I read between the lines.
Halo 3, multiplayer specifically. Oh, baby. I used to get down.
Is that the original? The first one?
Of course not.
Minesweeper.
Got to teach them. You earn victories sometimes.
By the way, Brooks said Bioshock for him.
Yeah, that's a good game. Okay. That's a good game.
Kyle, get in here. Kyle's typing. No, he's not.
That was a good one.
That's accurate.
Yeah, but Mike, pick me. Pick me. Number one, bonjour. Number two, does Australia still have long distance? I know. It's like, what are you paying for this? Is this $4.99 a minute? I don't know. Just call Collect, man. Who was the other phone company? There was AT&T MCI or something like that. Long distance.
So I can ring this guy.
But obviously I cannot be in an elevator with Jason for six hours because I would be breathing his insides.
Oh, man. All right. Let's get in the elevator after that. If I get a New Yorker, I accept. I'll be stuck in an elevator for six hours.
What I was going to say is it could turn into a six-hour therapy session for you where you would just talk for six hours. Because you wouldn't be talking about it.
I'm curious how they're babies.
Oh, so many, brother. Whoa, most regretted?
They've heard of Calvin Johnson.
Oh, man. Swish.
Have we gotten too strong for the ligaments? Yes.
Yeah.
Man, worst one. There might be a worst one, but the one that's coming to my head is years ago.
That one, by the end of the year, worked out. What about Marvin Harrison over? Over A.J. Brown? Yeah. That one felt bad. And it didn't work out for you. No, it didn't work out for me. It worked out for Mark Andrews.
Yes, but it was years ago. And this probably, now that I'm even working through it therapeutically, this probably led to me thinking Adam Thielen is the oldest and most terrible person ever. Which he's not. But I took Adam Thielen over Jalen Waddell. And this was, I think, two or three years ago. Whenever Waddell had his breakout season and Adam Thielen was not good...
Also, that dude sucks. I remember the worst. Clyde Edwards-Alaire in a rookie draft before Jonathan Taylor. Oh, yeah. That's the worst.
Over Jalen Wall. Over Jalen Wall.
Well, there's a lot of them.
It's been a long time. You could see it. If you go track it down on YouTube, you can watch.
Yeah, my right arm was done while we were in the studio, so you could watch it over shows. Six, seven years? Get pieced together. It's been a long time. So you're going to be able to see my entire face get tatted over the next 10.
But this is a big break. It's the classic, I'm going to get more ink. when I get in shape.
And I've been working on that for about six years. Well, what's your favorite tattoo? My favorite tattoo is my space shuttle rocket ship. Zoom in, John. Of course I have sleeves on, boys. Yeah, the one day. That one's nice. That one's my favorite.
Pizza would have been my answer. The world famous Fantasy Hitman dip, which is a sausage dip, and it is very delicious. Rotel. So it's, yeah, one serving size is a half a pound of sausage. We use a sweet Italian sausage. One can of Rotel. We go mild because everyone else in my house is a baby. And then one block of Philly cream cheese. I don't think Mike knows what one serving means.
You're saying for the whole party. I'm saying portion. Sorry, serving is the wrong word. No, portion is the wrong word, too. Portion is also wrong. What am I thinking of? You're saying for- One dish? One amount? Yeah, for everybody. Yes.
Well, I mean, it is very good. It's not a ton. I'm just saying that's the ratio of- A block of cream cheese.
If you go a full pound, it'll be- Some people will like it, but that's too meaty for me. Okay.

Oh, we have to choose between those two?
Between those two, you've got to go musical. Do not put us on Lifetime. I can't with those movies.
Well, they made that. Oh, it wasn't Lifetime, but there was the Hernandez movie where they had the fake Gronk.
Oh, DeVito. One of us is Danny DeVito, and it's not me. We've already said that that was Alan. Oh, the champ. Yeah. This list says Conan O'Brien, Mark Ruffalo.
Ethan Hawke, John Travolta, Matt LeBlanc.
Yeah, maybe.
When I was a teen, I got comped at least a couple times to JT from the hit series Step by Step.
Yeah, we've got some similarities.
All right.
That's not bad. Jonah Hill has slimmed down, and he's very funny. But one of us got Chris Hemsworth.
I'm just trying to... I'm barely, barely putting it together.
Dude, Steven Seagal has some amazing stories out there. If you haven't looked into them.
And it's really hard not to be Wolverine, but it's still Spider-Man for me.
You're a very chill. Okay.
The most enjoyment is pickleball, but you can't always do that. You have to have time and people together. But music and guitar playing and video games.
Hawaii's a state. Which city are you going to?
Okay.
That's a good pull. Yeah. That's probably where I would take us to.
Yeah.
very very different than the hat jason normally wears yeah this is actually our brand this is this is the best footballer's hat i told letters different owl borland was uh very helpful in getting these hats off the ground but then when i got it the the little logo thing on under the bill which this is new for me i don't is this what the youths are doing so you don't get it dirty you put your thumb there when you grab that's what it's for yes sir what about the top
uh a part of the off season i really really like is like you get two days off right back to back and it like love the job not it's not complaining but when you when you're like at week 15 and it's like it's a six day work week essentially with including a bunch of nights you're like Okay, I'm ready to have two days in a row off. It's nice.
Oh, Andy, go ahead. This is a surprise to even me. Yeah, spin the wheel, buddy. Oh, please be just slime dropping all over him. Iceman, MTV cringe, League of Records lose.
I thought you might have.
I'm with it, too. I love mayonnaise. This was a surprise. Where my stomach is at right now, there's no way I could take a bite of that without.
Now, we put these together independently. We didn't know what the other person was going to pick. I, in all of the things, did the Sunday slate. That was the one that I loved, too, which is the Jordan Love Less than 227.5. And I'm going to combo that with... Bucky, funny enough, we were talking about him at the top.
Bucky more than 86.5 rushing yards, which he has done in three of the previous four games.
If receiving is an option, you've got to sign me up for that.
No problem. So the part that people see is dirty. Right. The part people can't see very clean. Look, you want these hats.
It gives you a little bit of a better grip. Maybe you're in the rain. Right.
Just stop. Yeah, I don't think that's going to stop. Never stop.
I'd love to take all this credit. A lot of that was I thought Rashad White was not good enough.
That's how good Bucky is.
The job wasn't given him. He stole the job because you're like, we can't keep Bucky off the field. And so the question was.
The question of what is his ceiling is, it's extremely difficult. I didn't know this was going to be our question today, but there was a tweet I saw earlier from Jacob Gibbs, so shout out to him. But Bucky Irving and Alvin Kamara, which was in 2017 when Kamara did it, the only two running backs to top 1,500 scrimmage yards with a snap rate under 50%. And that is...
For every fantasy running back, everything comes down to the decisions of – well, not everything because talent matters, but the decisions of the coach because it's pretty rare that there's two running backs out there on the field at the exact same time, and the running back that is out there – That's a coach's decision.
My unbelievable frustration with Rico Dowdle when he's getting these 20-plus carries, running great, and then they're like, ah, but inside the goal, when we're close to the goal line, we've got to get somebody else in there. Those are the big decisions for seedlings.
So if you talk about... Yeah, that can regress.
It's like looking at the Jameer Gibbs situation where him and Monty, they're splitting, and they're both being awesome, but it's like Jameer Gibbs, the first month of the season, he wasn't a top 10 running back in any game in the first four weeks. Then you would have these stretches where week 7 and 8, running back 1 and 6, but then it's down to 18 and 17.
It wasn't until David Montgomery was gone that he rattled off the four consecutive weeks where he was running back 3, 7, 2, and 1. So the ceiling, I don't know that we... It's going to be, I think, a very light version of Detroit where Bucky's going to be drafted really high. Rashad White will be later. He'll have his own value. And then Bucky Irving will be very good.
But you know that drafting Bucky is, I got this top 15 type of a player. But if White misses time, now all of a sudden I have a guy who is a weekly top five upside play.
No.
Yeah, I mean, you can't lose like that. You mean 4-13? Yeah. Yeah, but some coaches can survive that. But going 4-13 and with at least just publicly what we saw, the weirdness of – Like liking an Instagram post about Devontae Adams getting traded? Yes, you have that weird stuff. And I'm talking about his press conferences where you're just like, dude, you're the head coach.
You can't talk about the team like that. You can't talk about your guys like that.
I think he's a good NFL player.
No, I think that's Lamar. Maybe Lamar just likes. Yeah, because Bateman had, what, nine?
I agree.
He's not on early best ball right now. He's the tight end three in the late fourth round.
Yeah, I'm with Jason. I think George Kittle is very exciting if things kind of hold up for the 49ers.
Everyone's here today.
Yeah, and George and Brock. I mean, Brock Purdy. Like, they have seemingly a real connection when it comes to, you know, touchdowns. So, Kittle had eight this year, which – For Kittle, that's actually a higher number. He's had one outlier season at 11. It was six two years ago, but remember that was... That was fine for Kittle.
Yeah. Him and Birdie seem to be getting it done.
153.
And we have, you know, we got Chip Kelly here as the new OC. Oh, I forgot about that. Heck yeah. And just went back and was trying to remember exactly how it happened, which, you know, brought me down the memory lane of Zach Ertz. Like, the career that was Zach Ertz of when he – Ertz was on the Eagles, right?
for it felt like forever we were screaming like free Ertz man get this dude the ball he's like he's he's such a he's such a good player he's a good tight end we need to feed him and it took a bit but you know the uh before the downturn of Chip Kelly so this is 2015 it was Zach Ertz with 112 targets so it's it's not something that's with Chip Kelly
Yes, this is not something that the Chip Kelly offense is opposed to doing.
What did Brock have? Reception-wise? No, touchdowns.
Which is not crazy. Five receiving. So I guess then that's only one more touchdown then, right? Didn't McBride have – I thought McBride had a rushing touchdown and then the fumble recovery.
Yeah.
Yeah, I love that. And you're alluding to it a little bit just of the like Trey McBride and Brock Bowers to me have nothing to worry about competition wise like George Kittle. I'm excited for George Kittle right now.
Things over the offseason for the 49ers could change drastically. They might stay the same, but there is a chance they can change. And if things change for the Raiders or the Cardinals, it does not matter. It's actually better for them, in my opinion. Marv gets better. They add another potential wide receiver weapon for the Cardinals. Now the offense is better. Now they might score more. Exactly.
Trey McBride will not lose – his spot in the pecking order of the depth chart of where the targets are going to go, he's a top-tier talent. And if you get him on a better offense, just like Bowers, then now we're talking they are lapping the field.
His season's so good, we must be talking about him next, right? No, we got to talk about Johnny Smith first. Oh, Laporte will be right after that, though, right?
Right after that, though.
There are so many things, and finding the exact right one is very difficult. But if you're hiring, the best strategy is to use Indeed. Their sponsored jobs will help you stand out. It literally puts your job post at the top of the page so you can reach the people you want faster. And even better, you're only paying for results. There's no monthly subscriptions or long-term contracts.
Which, that is 100% correct. But his usage of Drake London, I don't issue any apologies. Fair. Fair.
That's the question. Are we going to have a Janu Achan offense, or are we going to have a Tyreek Hill, Jalen Waddell offense? Not Tyreek Hill. Yeah, it's weird because two years ago, if you remember, they were dead last in target share. For the tight end position. Yeah, for the tight end position. This was not a team, and no, chicken or egg, right?
Who are they going to throw the ball to type of stuff. The chicken. And John New emerges. You don't want to throw the ball at eggs. This is a really difficult thing of not knowing which – which way is the offense going to point?
We don't, but we did.
They're going to try to say that, aren't they? We did learn a new word that involves three. Jason, you don't remember your word?
Oh, man. Oh, the back-to-back goose and then the discussion of do you play Mark Andrews?
Early best ball, end of the seventh round right now.
A quartile.
Yeah. Because of the rule of the tight end. It's kind of like Highlander. Yes, there could only be three. There's generally another. I said kind of.
Part of the situation for Laporta is like.
Okay, that's fair. That one's on me. Yeah, like, just remembering the story of the Detroit Lions. The first half of the year when the Lions had their defensive pieces.
Right. They were... They were killing people on offense, and then the defense was not allowing people to score. So you just – you weren't getting – while their offense is still strong, it's not as relied upon. And then in the second half of the year, I'm just like – I'm trying to think about this out loud of like could that have been –
a source of why Laporta had a great second half because the Lions had whatever, you know, 20-plus guys on IR, including losing a bunch of key defensive pieces.
Don't worry about Tucker Kraft. Why are we skipping Tucker Kraft? I have no idea. Who made this executive decision?
Our note says skip.
Yeah. Kraft stole his launch money.
I think Tucker Kraft was better than you do, apparently.
It's just more about what is the... What is his career path? He was a third-round pick.
Yes.
Well, his athleticism is actually. Whoa. Whoa. Athletic. Did I go athleticism? Athleticism. I was going to go athleticism. And then I bailed out and jumped to do a different word. It happens. You've done that. His athleticism is actually pretty. It's better than you think it is. Like his quickness and explosiveness. He's in the 69th percentile and the 75th percentile for explosive.
He has good short area speed. He's a piece of an office.
Yeah, that's what I think. I think Kraft is going to be the preferred guy, and it's 355 yards as a rookie, 707 as a sophomore. Just saying, I would pay attention to the way that his career is unfolding.
But he had a great year. Yeah, it's just, is he back? which he will be for half a season before Benson takes over.
It's not going to be.
No.
I cannot wait to be in on Cole Komet. Yeah, maybe. Oh, man. That's going to be fun. He's a talented player.
Yeah, but we all agree that Cole Komet is a talented guy. Exactly. And got hosed this year, and now he's got – He will be hosed forever. Ben Johnson. He's got Ben Johnson. He's the new Laporta. Oh, no.
That's the point. Even better. That's even better. He just gives it to him.
My lineup is punishment enough, everybody. We do have. Hope you got Dallas Goddard in it after all this sweet Dallas Goddard talk.
My captain as well as Saquon Barkley. And I knew that both of you would go with the captain of Saquon Barkley. So it was what in the like, how do you pivot this? So it is just the ultimate victory. And coming in at the bottom of the turtile, Mr. Dallas Goddard will be my captain. Fantastic.
That was before I even knew that this show was going to happen.
That's who I'm talking about.
I have Saquon as a flex.
Ooh, I do not. I don't have any Mahomes. Okay.
I went with one more ride for the big guy. We've got Travis Kelsey in here at 9,000. I figure he'll show up in the Super Bowl. And then a guy who is surprisingly getting a bunch of targets inside the end zone. Not a bunch of targets nor playing time, but I'm going with DeAndre Hopkins at 4,400. Just hope that we get – if anyone has a fluky two-touchdown game, I think it's Hopkins.
Goodbye, everybody.
Yeah, the target pie.

I was going to say, you can go Thielen somewhere. Exactly. But Thielen was a free agent, right? Right.
Yeah.
Oh, no.
Yep, I was going to bring him up.
Yeah, so Whittington last year was a sixth-round pick. He had a good training camp. He was one of those players where the buzz, like the drumbeat, got louder, and then he had a pretty good performance in the preseason. So he was a player that was – I mean, he's a sixth-round wide receiver who was now on the radar for the Dynasty community.
And then he had a couple opportunities, you know, like week four and five, where he actually played the full allotment of snaps, 97% and 92%. Six for 62 in one of them, seven for 89 in the other one. This is, like, this is by no means a declaration that Jordan Whittington, that's his job for sure.
But with the depth chart the way it is, Whittington feels like the most natural to fill in, as in Cooper Cup's role. Yeah. So he's an exciting player that I can't imagine he's on waiver wires or anything like that for Dynasty, but he could be someone that you take a little bit of a flyer on because the return. Like trade a third for him right now. I have Whittington.
You won't get that after this news. You're not going to get it done for a three. So you'd be having to pay. He's more of a, if you're making a trade with a team that has Whittington, Like, oh, let's get him. Let's just toss J-Dubs in this trade here.
Hiring Indeed is all you need.
Oh, you're kidding. I wasn't counting weeks three. Weeks three, he played 38%.
I got you. Because in the two weeks where he was a full-time player, he was 28% and 22% of the targets. So he seems like a natural replacement unless the Rams make some sort of splash.
Oh, two years ago.
He is going to be... Very frustrating, I think, for fantasy football. Because we've seen it in this playoffs. Like you had, I don't remember which round it was. I guess their first game because they had the bye. And it was like, Travis Kelsey has this huge game. And then Travis Kelsey has like 16 yards or whatever it was. It was extremely low.
So knowing what he's still capable of if they funnel the offense through him, like he could still get a bunch of volume. He had three weeks from weeks 8 to 10, 12 targets, 16, 12 targets where he was the tight end 4, 2, and 1. And then he absolutely disappeared. So it's in there. He could still do it, but it will not be a week-to-week – So we'll see what the ADP shakes out to be.
Yes.
It will, and this is just thinking overall greatness of that is Travis Kelsey. I heard someone mention the ages because they were bringing up Gronk because Gronk's one of the best of all time. Do you know how old Gronk is compared to Travis Kelsey?
He is born, so Gronk born May of 89, Travis Kelsey born October of 89. Wow. Oh, okay. Like Travis Kelsey. Yeah. Gronk has been gone forever. Kelsey's still putting up crazy numbers.
24%.
Travis Kelsey. And that would push my thesis to be more of this isn't a trend of the NFL. These are stars who have found themselves into good situations that they can actually shine and be the focal point.
Great news for Jamar Chase. We've already had these four years, now including this truly elite season, and dude is not 25 yet.
I was really saying that thing. The age, that was me looking in the mirror going, you did great work, Mike. You look good today, Mike.
And he will not be someone that I have concerns about the OC change.
I think they're very valid and fair questions to be like, how good will Goff be? Jamison Williams, the breakout. We got a new – like Amon Ra, though, I won't – I won't need to give any discount in ADP just at price.
Almost does Riz face.
Can we get a podcast of him and Russ?

That's fantastic.
It's just half loss.
It's a half loss, half win. You're not a fool.
I think it's a fair-ish question. That's still Malik.
It's when you move into like,
Lad? Is your confidence in your scouting process of Marv? My confidence in my scouting process in Marv? Is it strong enough to fight off Brian Thomas?
Got a big Pro Bowl primer.
That's not the first time he's said that.
I think he's just trolling now.
Maybe Schottenheimer's the right guy. Two years ago, the Cowboys offense was incredible. This past year, it ranks near the bottom. For me, I would not have been nervous for CeeDee Lamb, regardless of any coach that comes in. It's the offense as a whole that I am not sure if Schottenheimer's the right guy. Because I want this Dallas offense as high-powered as possible.
for more scoring opportunities for CeeDee Lamb because he will get his targets, but we need touchdowns.
Feels good, man.
Who doesn't? Honestly, who doesn't love Terry McLaurin? He's spectacular. If you don't love Terry McLaurin, you've got to look in the mirror and figure out what the flaw is in you. Bucs fans? I don't know. I feel like you can be in division, hate Washington, and look at the career of Terry McLaurin and go –
Dude, that guy is a baller, and that guy has put up with so much garbage, so I am so happy.
And that is everything. He had 117 targets this year, caught 82 of them, so a 70% catch rate that is by far the highest of his career. But even with those things, he was still just under 1,100 receiving yards. 1,100 yards, that's excellent. But 1,100 yards is not usually a – a receiver of this finish.
That's the fewest receiving yards by a top six fantasy wide receiver since 2017 when Jarvis Landry did it. 13 touchdowns. More than likely, there will be touchdown regression. Terry McLaurin's ADP is going to be one of those. Hopefully, we all keep cool heads and he is not drafted like he's going to get 13 touchdowns.
Oh, really? Yeah.
It's a weird, weird year.
That still even seems high.
But a guy you played every week.
I think so. I think you're right.
He was wide receiver 33 from week 7 through 14.
Are they two? Let me pull it up real quick. Yeah, you pull that up. Three. Tennessee, Cleveland, Giants.
That makes sense.
That's what I felt.
And I will throw out, if you've been with the show for a year, I kind of have these. So Kyle says 9.2 ADOT. That's... That's low. Yeah, that's not where you want it to be for a number one fantasy type of a wide receiver. But just looking historically back on ADP, right? So guys who finish in the top 24 for the first time in year two.
No, their hit rate in years – I know, it's really weird.
Well, it's not that they're bad. It's just that the hit rate of returning the – so, like, if he's drafted as the wide receiver 12, you expect him to score X amount of points, right? Mm-hmm.
their their hit rate of getting to their x the the points are being drafted to hit they're only hitting it about 50 of the time it's it's a really really weird i'm not sure i understand what you said okay yeah i'm trying to do you get it i'm trying to do it off you're saying that after if a player jumps up into the category in year two a player finishes as a top 24 wide receiver
For the first time in their career in year two.
Guys who do it in year one and, shockingly, guys who do it in year three for the first time, their hit rates are tremendous.
But here's why.
Yeah, but these guys aren't necessarily drafted like that. I'm just saying it's a really weird, it feels like a strange anomaly that the way that we think about wide receivers of year two is the real breakout year.
And, hey, NFL, you can afford to incentivize these guys to go.
But it is also junk.
How many – sorry, this is more rhetorical, just curious. Like the Seahawks won 10 games. They went 10 and 7. Right, right. And this guy's first year being an OC and they're like, yeah, see you later.
I think they want to run a lot more. But this is interesting. Like, this is getting the juices going because Jason is like, oh, okay, here we go. This is a player who we're going to disagree about, and his swings are going to be wild.
I think they increase revenue by billions every year. At least I'm looking at it. In 2023, the NFL generated $20 billion, which is up $2 billion from the previous year. You can figure out how to get your superstars to this event. Let's just stop it. Let's just do a slam dunk contest. See, that would be fun. Oh, NFL players doing a slam dunk contest? Yes.
Which, if they look like they do in the Lion King.
Just say no, dude.
So the list of free agents here, I'm trying to pull it up real quick. So we have, well, you have the Sam Darnold decision that the Minnesota Vikings have to make.
I mean, bring him back home, baby. Probably not.
It probably won't happen. I mean, speaking of not going back, Zach Wilson.
So they can pick all their old guys. So, I mean, Lance, Jacoby, Heineken, Mario.
Jameis. Dude, send Jameis to the Jets.
Yeah, the Wilson... His future is so murky.
He's back on the phone.
Right. One of these guys will have to be a bridge.
But you still have to have someone else on the roster just in case. To compete. And there's no one in the free agent quarterback list that is incredible. Because that's very rare to begin with.
I was going to say, the last name is gross, but if Cooper Rush goes and starts the year for the Jets. Oh, gosh. Give me Jameis or give me.
It's weird, man.
You guys look really different.
Unfortunately, we did not get. It was close, though. We didn't get the he finished at 229.
Got my one attempt up there, but he didn't get it.
118?
That pairs nicely with mine. And Andy, we were on different sides here, but Dallas Goddard really has, at least over the playoff run, he has been a go-to guy here.
Yeah, he's been massively involved. The Chiefs were a team that we could get tight end points during the fantasy season. So I'm going to take my chances there. And then I'm going to take Patrick Mahomes less than 251 and a half passing yards. That line of 250 is kind of surprising to me. The Eagles defense, man, they are very, very good. They are legit.
It also is – I don't know if that's how Mike McCarthy said or if that's just the way it's being reported. But, I mean, the coaches, I have to imagine, being a head coach, there's a bit of a fraternity, a bit of a union. For sure. You're doing a job that very few other people have done. And if you're like Mike McCarthy, you're like, I'm going to focus on next year because some of y'all.
are getting fired and i'm gonna be there when you get fired and i'm gonna take that job well it's yeah it's just math and it's true it works yeah but it's just said like the wording is well he was at the he also got a little bit uh
The Cowboys did that?
That stinks. It's a bummer. I mean, it wasn't like a full breakout, but he was putting up enough noise of like, hey, this is a player that we need to pay attention to.
Morton sounds like the oldest name to me.
That's a different position.
Hey, are we getting the swing back?
Also, you have enough money. Right. You're fine, dude. You're fine. Your children's children's children's children's. Yeah, but what about their children? They're also fine. Also, you have literally infinite money.
The number that I'm seeing floated is averaging 40. Yes. Last year, Justin Jefferson got his contract, and then immediately it was, okay, well, is Chase going to be slightly under? Is he going to be at it? And I'm looking at Spotrek. Jefferson's average salary is 35.
I bet the billionaire owner would take your money. Yeah, he would. Absolutely.
I feel like it is so weird what the Rams are doing here.
And as a team, they will succeed, but can they win a Super Bowl with Darnold?
Yeah. And it is nasty dynasty season. Speaking of Jimmy Garoppolo. Oh, yeah. You should go see if he's on your waiver wire. Right. Because he's not on ours. Oh, you did? Of course I picked him up. You know what?
And look, Jimmy Garoppolo, I mean. The odds are not with you. I bet we're talking low percentage odds. But right now, this is when you got to be making those small low percentage odds moves.
No, you can't say it. You have to go to the – because everyone has to talk after the game. And you show up and just Kleenex balled up in your hands. You're like, it's you. It's you. It's you. That's the only way you can do it. Because if you come out and you're like, I'm making no excuses.
The way that this story has moved around with Kelsey is also super weird. The way that he came out and talked about it, and then yesterday or two days ago, whenever it was, you had the report that, no, we heard, we knew right away that he was coming back and was fired up. I still don't think we have a real answer yet.
Yeah. They hope to get him back. When Hollywood was on the field, their offense was better.
I only read him.
Yeah, you do. We don't have good offers yet. Yeah, you know if that's a leverage comment.
You know, you can also not look at the notifications.
That is the correct thing to do.
Oh, can't do it.
Completion percent.
That's his zone.
I think that's the big story.
2022. 2022.
Someone far more important to you is trying to get a hold of me. It could be. I don't know until I check. Oh, it's not. You get to keep going. And there he is again.
Yeah, I mean, you have... You should have a strong foundation, but I think there should be concerns. Like Amon Ra, that's fine.
This doesn't worry you at all for Jamison Williams? I mean, I guess this theoretically could be better for Jamison Williams if they get him more involved in the Target Sheriff because Ben Johnson already had his ways.
I don't think so. But it's like the David Montgomery would be the biggest question mark.
Yeah, does his role diminish a little bit, especially with how good the team looks when it's just Jameer Gibbs? But on top of that, if they're not going to score – I think they scored like 50-something touchdowns this year. If you're not going to do that, that's where Montgomery takes the hit.
12 touchdowns over the course of the season which is realistic i would agree with you that's that's the player that needs to be the scariest as far as redrafting them the way that we did last year oh i mean i'm sorry so it was 70 total i'm looking on nfl.com right now 70 total touchdowns for uh the detroit lions in 2024 and that number was let me get 2023 real quick that was 58
You also factor in the Houston Texans, their final offensive line grade from PFF was 29th. And not that – I mean, the Bengals – It felt like it. The Bengals are 30th, so it's not that a quarterback behind a terrible offensive line can't succeed. It is just – certainly harder. And C.J.
Stroud, as all the accolades we were wanting to give him heading into year two, he's not where Joe Burrow is at this point of his career. So it's just – I think that the line was the bigger problem for me and just the – I mean, the crazy success rate that C.J. Stroud had as rookie year going down the field, that was going to regress, but it went to a place where we didn't –
dare project because it would be too sad to project that much of a regression. So I think that it comes down to that. They got some young guys on the line. Can they actually improve? They did not last year, but can we have an offseason and a new coordinator figure out what to do with the talent?
This team needs to make a splash at wide receiver, though. They got to do something.
That's what I mean.
We got a real Kardashian situation going on here.
Yes, it's Kardashian.
Mike McDonald. Mike McDonald. Mike McDaniel. Now you got me.
Yeah.
Yeah. The Kubiaks. They did too much.
His guarantee was like 30-something. Am I remembering that correct?
I am in agreement.
Like, Metcalf, you... It is tough. Volume-wise, yes, but can we get Metcalf back to where he was thriving, where he's an efficiency big play type of a player?
Yes, that has been the case. It's going to be soft tissue. Which he is. He's great at it.
The verbiage has not been strong on that.
This is the shining gem.
It gets better, Andy. Josh Grizzard was born in Lizard Lick, North Carolina. We got Josh Grizzard from Lizard.
Yeah, this is good stuff.
Who's not loving hearing about Josh Grizzard from Lizard Lick?
He can't be the lizard.
Hold on. Wait. I'm trying to get some population. Kyle, I need a population deep dive on Lizard Lick. It is an unincorporated town. What does that mean?
I've got some reasons I don't believe in him.
Yeah, well, I guess, making them all happy. In March 1998, the small town received publicity when Nintendo first released the Nintendo 64 game Yoshi's Story there with the name of the host town reflecting the Nintendo character Yoshi's ability to extend his tongue over a long distance.
I am so done talking about Baker Mayfield. That's all lizard lick from here on out.
Oh, yeah. Oh, I would just be cashing checks.
I meant Brooks told us there's a band called King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizards.
I don't know.
I can't confirm nor deny it.
I think it would be King Grizzard, not King Gizzard. Okay, fair.
Brooks, did you know them or did you just stumble into them?
Are you still on the space station? Oh, are you on the space station?
My memory – Tony Pollard was the RB22. Like the whole first half. I mean, if people don't want to draft Tony Pollard, that's great. I'll draft him.
Yeah.
Yeah, I would hold on to him, and it is just a reminder. I mean, he was coming off of a broken ankle, a very similar injury to which Tony Pollard was coming off of for two years ago, and Tony Pollard was very disappointing. And then I thought he was a much better player for the Titans than he was on Dallas two years ago. So I think that is a factor.
I agree that he's not elite anymore, but if I got him in Dynasty, I'm just going to hold on.
Yeah, I don't disagree with that. People are going to be real hot for Drake.
At that price? I mean, I'm in on Drake London. I'm in on the talent. It looked like, I don't know that we saw enough of Michael Penix last year to make any really conclusive decisions on is it going to work. But what did work was Penix was all about, I'm just going to throw the ball to my number one guy. So for fantasy, we like that.
Thank you. You're really doing well today.
Man, I think I go London there.
a little different with the way the rookie wide receivers coming in may land i mean because we got a great running back class it will be different there's no malik neighbors or marv who are gonna like t-mac out of u of a even if he gets drafted as a top 10 nfl pick we're not going yeah High third-round pick for this rookie. They'll slide back, which is going to be great.
No. Bad joke incoming.
The ADP, when you have to risk so much ADP on a rookie wide receiver, sometimes you get Malik, sometimes you get Jamar. Sometimes you get Marv.
Oh, no.
Not yet. I don't think Brady's going to be patient. No. Brady says if Brady's going to be moving out of that cushy broadcast job, he's going to be trying to win games.
If he makes it to the end of the first, there's some exciting spots.
Yeah, we might have like three rookie running backs in the top 20.
We did also get a full... I don't remember when. Somewhat recent. A full reversal from Tyreek Hill. If you remember after the season, it was... I am out of here. Miami is not where I will be playing. You guys are a bunch of chumps. It softened a week or so later, and then we've had the full, no, I'm going to be in Miami doing my thing.
I don't think anyone is going to give him a complete free pass.
I mean, 12 seems okay to me. I think that's okay. He was still – Give me some names around that, though. He was still good. I mean, you had to throw the draft capital away once we got here, but it's like week one, 20-plus fantasy points. Tua gets hurt. He's gone for a month or so, and then over the – like from week eight on, he's still very usable.
It's just he was not the number one or number two wide receiver.
uh tyreek garrett jsn jsn tyreek dj more dj more i think that one's dj more
Yeah.
Yes.
So he is a restricted free agent. We're talking about Jalen Warren, which means that the team can – the Steelers are the team that they're negotiating with the first. Jalen Warren will be able to go out and talk to other teams and get a contract offer from them, and then the Steelers will be able to say, like, we're either going to match certain things.
And based off – there's different levels of tender, of saying, like, this is the compensation –
that we will get back if another team steals him from us because with the tender then we're saying we're going to give him this amount of money are you going to beat that essentially is how it will work this says to me but we saw that we haven't heard anything on Najee yet so this is the team saying we're at least actively going to do it now it might be original and I think
Well, I'm saying an original round, which Jalen Warren was an undrafted player. So it's not like this isn't a heavy investment, but at least they're giving us some signal that they want him back.
Okay. Is that for an undrafted player?
If anyone's going to hold in, it's George Pickens.
Yeah, the Bengals committed a pretty big whoops-a-doozles. The T. Higgins one last year, I get it. As a franchise, you're not sure you want to commit to this guy who's been good on the field, but is he worth the money? He keeps getting hurt a lot. Jamar Chase, on the other hand, was, what are you doing?
You're going, like, unless Jamar Chase plays this year and has a career-ending injury, you're going to back the truck up. You're going to give him all that cash. And when you wait a year, now that cash has increased.
No, it would have been an additional. His whatever contract he was on, it would have been additional years on that.
Yes, in the owner's pockets.
I'm saying the cap has gone up, which all the players know that. And all the player agents know that. They'll say, you know, you have more room. You're going to give us more. He's going to get paid so much more now. Jamar Chase 100% made more money by not getting the extension last year.
Jamar will get it, and the conversations from Bengals officials that we're hearing from the Combine, like on T. Higgins, on Hendrickson, it went from last year of them being like, it's impossible. There's no way we can do this, to now like,
anxious pores and it's it's funny here too because in in the dynasty league where you're yeah trying to go back you've got burrow and chase however in listener league where andy's in the championship he's playing against burrow and chase so one of you is going to be happy about the weather

Yeah, I would love to have Bucky in my lineup. I'm going to go with my guy, Brees Hall in Buffalo. We have a complicated relationship. Brees likes to put me out of the playoffs, and then it's his time to shine. And so he did that last week. Last week, he was back up to 77% of snaps, 20 opportunities, including six targets. And the targets are really the key here because Buffalo –
They are the most terrible team at pass-catching running backs. They give up the most running back receiving yards of every team, second most running back receptions, and receiving touchdowns allowed. They give up the highest explosive run rate. Buffalo, the matchup is good. The weather should be bad there.
That should be another one of those kind of watch out for rain games, which means I think there will be a lot of dump-offs for Brees Hall. In the games where the rain is bad, heavy and wind is high, running back fantasy usage and value usually goes up. So I will start Breeze this week.
And if your first one isn't a good fit, you can switch at any time at no extra cost. Discover your relationship green flags with BetterHelp. Visit BetterHelp.com slash footballers to get 10% off your first month. That's BetterHelp, H-E-L-P.com slash footballers.
He is... Unless there's terrible weather.
I'm going to go with the old man who's been on fire. I'm not talking about Adam Thielen, who's a fine start in himself. Or Al Borland, who's also winning a lot of games. There you go. I'm going with Keenan Allen against Seattle tonight. Keenan, I mean, he's made a believer out of me. You know, he was looking old and moldy. And in reality, it was just a Shane Waldron problem.
since the offensive coordinator change week 11 he's the wide receiver nine in fantasy points with Caleb Williams 15 and a half fantasy points per game since that change in that six-week span he has been targeted on 28 percent of his routes 32 percent of his team's first read he's the the matchup against Seattle is good there should be a little bit of rain but the thing is guys like
We're talking about, oh, there's rain for my players. There's rain for your opponent's players too. Here are the games right now with at least some rain. We're on watch. If you have a player from Seattle, Chicago, Denver, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, the Giants, to Titans or Jacksonville or the Jets or Buffalo or Carolina or Tampa Bay Buccaneers or if Dallas or Philly –
Or if you've got the Dolphins or the Browns or Atlanta or the Commanders, any one of those teams, there should be a little bit of water out there.
No rain.
Yeah. I would like some rain. Arizona right now, Christmas shouldn't be in the 70s, and we're a desert here. People shouldn't live here. It was beautiful yesterday.
In a loss while he was wide open all the time. In an overtime loss.
Jason. Oh, it's you and me together, hand in hand. Oh, you're letting me in? Oh, absolutely. You're letting me in on your start of the week? Yeah. All right. Chica Conquo, baby, is the only. This guy you found. Oh. Oh, oh, oh. There we go.
Well, hey, 10 targets in week 15, 11 targets in week 16, so can we get 12 targets this week? Maybe. Over the last three weeks with Mason Rudolph, he has been targeted on 32% of his routes. That is the same as Jamar Chase. He's seen 27% of the Titans' first read targets. That is better than Mike Evans for the Bucs. He is averaging 0.52 fantasy points per route run. That is the same as Drake London.
And the matchup against Jacksville is fantastic. Chig should be in a lot of lineups. If you don't have one of the premier studly tight ends, Chig's the best next man up.

I was blown away at this line.
He's going to be an interesting start-sit decision because I think he's fine. He's had the month off. If his knee is healthy and he looks good in practice and he's activated, I expect him to get the work. But it's really hard to put someone straight off the IR into your starting lineup when you go, oh, is he going to come in and get –
The day after, the day after that.
eight carries yeah well let me let me let me ask you a really tough one there which is um Tony Pollard been banged up been limping off the field at times or Jacob Dobbins I would go Dobbins there the matchup is is really good for Dobbins and we've seen Pollard the last couple weeks try to play through these injuries and I expect him to be out there again but he hasn't really been able to um so Dobbins I I think he should I think he should be fine
It's not a great matchup for him.
Oh, it's got to be like minus 300. I would say, I mean, this is a player who hasn't had fewer than 50 yards since week seven. So that's just like a layup.
Yeah. No, Ladd is in everybody's lineup. If you've had him, he's just been too consistent. He is the clear leader of this wide receiver room. The matchup, I expect it to come early. The Patriots don't give up a ton of fantasy points to wide receivers, but it's not because they shut wide receivers down. It's because they're usually at the second half in a game script where
they're not needed that much. So maybe it's good that it's a smaller line here of 4.5 points for the Chargers, and maybe the Patriots can make it a little bit more interesting.
Oh, that would be fantastic for a game that could really have a lot of offensive outpouring. This was the game going into the week. Don't use those words. Yeah, don't say pour. Don't say outpour. I thought I matched pretty well with this game. Remember, it's a rain pour. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jalen McMillan instead of Chase? No, you're not going to move off of those guys at all. I will say, like if Jalen Hurts, if you're the Jalen Hurts manager, Bo Nix was a really good pivot that you could have picked up off of the waivers to play in your championship. That might be a name where I get a little scared about a rookie –
You've got to play him. Man, the last two weeks he had 32 receiving yards, and then he had 50 receiving yards.
I mean, is that comforting?
No, I get it. I'm just saying if you add in the weather. Like we were talking about, you don't pivot off of Jamar Chase. You're not going to pivot off of Burrow, but... A Cortland Sutton, if it turns out that this is the crazy downpour, high-wind game, if that happens, I feel like I would rather start a McMillan.
Cortland Sutton is a guy who you could say kind of got you here, but really, if you're in the championship, he didn't get you here the last two weeks of the playoffs. You had to overcome him, and I think a lot of the managers who have him might be going, I'm looking for another option.
So if you are a Sutton manager, are you looking to have other weapons prepared for right down to the wire?
Saturday 430.
Now, real quick, before we go, how much of not worrying about Cortland Sutton, Andy, is you wanting Jeremy to play Cortland Sutton against you?
Yeah, I mean, he's been awesome. I do think if he's active, I would play him. I'm not quite as concerned. I mean, he's been practicing, so it's one of those where if he was not practicing at all, not practicing, DMP, and then, oh, he's a surprise active, that gets you worried. But the fact that he's actually been at practice, been doing this, and they're going to need him in this game.
I mean, they've lost four of their last five games, the Cardinals have. It's divisional, but this is also like a revenge game. For the Rams, if you remember, week two, they got humiliated by the Cardinals. 41-10, they got just drubbed. That was the Marv game. That was a Marv game.
That was the game where they lost their entire offensive line, and I'm sure they're coming back here to put a stamp on the Cardinals.
Yeah. And he's a tough start. He is. Yeah, I mean, you just said it. Three of the last four weeks, the yardage. The yardage is not there. I mean, his second highest yardage is 24 yards.
uh you know i was not concerned at all after the goose but looking you know deeper at it i am very concerned and it's not like this is a great matchup the cardinals over the course of the season they're they're number four in fantasy points given up to wide receivers which is weird because they're allowing the highest completion rate in the nfl yeah keep in mind they suck like it's it's so strange and i hate them
Yeah, I mean, the Cardinals are always an enigma. Sometimes their defense shows up and they look awesome, and other times they let Bryce Young run for 100 yards.
I don't think Trey Benson will be active, so it would be Michael Carter. If Trey Benson is active, it would be Trey Benson ahead of Michael Carter, but it would be nobody is the correct answer. Mike, were you asking a question about somebody else? Kyler.
Well, and the points are even more indicative. I mean, 10 points, 15 points, 10 points again. The floor is not what it should be for a mobile quarterback.
The underdogs of the world – They like the weather. Really hoping it's a rainy, windy... We are anti-dome, baby.
Nothing can go wrong. I'm impressed right now with your storytelling and your bravado, given the fact that you're standing in a hole right now. Oh, I'm standing in a big hole. And it's starting to fill with water.
Yep. But the rain is... We've made a big deal about the rain in the... Broncos game? Yeah, in the Broncos-Bengals game, but this is another one that should potentially be a complete downpour, a huge, wet, rain-out type of game. Definitely.
Yeah. Buffalo is known for having some of these bad weather games. And so this is why this is part of why I like Brees Hall. The running game, the dump offs, the short screens, those those type of things that might be good for, you know, if you're looking at the trying to make light of this very confusing wide receiver core for the Bills. That says to me, Khalil Shakir, that's his type of game.
Where he thrives is in that short screen games, those dump offs, get blockers out in front, as opposed to an Amari Cooper who's going to be more down the field.
Adam Thielen or Khalil Shakir?
When they've got bets. When they've got some money on the line and they're going, oh, no, no way. He's got Derrick Henry. He's not even the most valuable player on his own team.
I do like that. Some years I feel like it's just the best player on the best team or the quarterback on the best team, and this year it really does feel like those two guys are playing outrageous football, and both are extremely deserving of it.
They're going to play this game. The mustache versus the rat tail.
There was some talk about it. No, this is how you can have these teams be watchable, is you play them against each other. When a JV team plays an NFL team, that's bad football. That's a waste of everybody's time. When a JV team plays a JV team, you can go to a high school football game and have a good time. Nobody can run fast. So I actually think this could be a surprisingly good matchup.
Because it might just be working out real nice for the underdog who's never won a championship in the league before.
the utilization of Kendra Miller was the biggest problem. Because Kendra Miller is, I still think, he's a much more talented running back, I believe, than Alexander Madison. But Alexander Madison's getting the work and Kendra Miller was in a full committee, even with Alvin Kamara out of the way. That was what was really upsetting. Because I do think if they gave
The whole work to Kendra Miller in a matchup like this against a bad team, he could succeed, but not if he's getting half of it or a third of it.
He has two more games to do that. That's crazy. He's been outrageously good.
Yep. I'm, I'm still okay with Jacoby Myers, obviously bad, bad game last week, but he, the, all the weeks prior, nine targets, 10 targets, 11 targets, 15 targets. He's, he is involved.
And this is a, you know, this is another matchup where I think you can play him hard to off of a disappointing week last week, but you, you just can't be that recency biased with a wide receiver because you're, you're always going to have inconsistency.
Right. That's where McMillan has a chance to score two touchdowns, and with Jacoby, you're praying for a touchdown, but he's not getting a touchdown.
You can ask him. He's right there.
No, it's funny when you can say that the quarterback is a pretty good start but don't start any of his receivers because it's really a matter of the groundwork. Jonathan Taylor and Anthony Richardson should both have a ton of rushing yards and
rushing touchdowns um that's that's pretty much it on the other side I mean this is a pretty easy game because I Tyrone Tracy didn't practice on Wednesday with the ankle but I I think that's just probably rest he had neighbors didn't either toe injury yeah and he had he had work last week so I I think I'm okay with Tracy and neighbors and I'm okay with Anthony Richardson and Jonathan Taylor and the Colts D
Yeah, oh, for sure the Colts D. Heck yeah. And that's it. Yeah. I mean, I guess you could, if you're comparing some of these wide receivers we've talked about, you know, Jacoby Myers. The touchdown upside is higher in this game for a Pittman or a Josh Downs than it is for Jacoby. Yeah, if you're playing for ceiling, I think ceiling would be here.
Okay, I'm going, as we talked about earlier, Ladd McConkie over 50 receiving yards. He does it every single week. Should be a gimme since week eight. He's averaging 87 yards. He's hit this in eight straight games.
Bold. Do you want me to take something that he can't hit? Mike.
Yeah, I was going to say, he only had four carries in the whole game. Lamar Jackson, if you said he only threw 10 completions and carried the ball four times, you'd say, well, that was a bad game. Except he ended up with 87 rushing yards, a rushing touchdown, and two passing touchdowns. Great game for Lamar Jackson, and Derrick Henry was a monster.
Yeah. Yeah, I think I had a very, very nice Christmas. One to remember. And honestly, I liked Christmas football as well. It was a good time.
I told him 45. No. I don't blame you because there are very few players. It's like Jamar Chase or Alvin Kamara. You go, there's a chance for a 45-point game. It's probably not going to happen, but there's a chance. So until you're up 50, you will be scared.
Yeah, like his namesake. Oh, I see.
Now you have the decision of Jalen McMillan versus James Conner. James Conner is Saturday. So you will know, and you'll have to make that decision. You'll know if he's active or not. Are you going to start an injured Conner if he's active?
All right, cool. Thank you.
Ooh. That hurts. Yeah, it's worth pointing out and remembering because a lot of people, this is going to be one of those names, I think, going into next year that the people who didn't make the playoffs or didn't pay attention later on, Xavier Worthy's having a little bit of a breakout here. I mean, that's three impactful games in a row.
which insinuates that they're still wanting Carr to come back, and I would imagine that when Carr comes back might be when Olave comes back. I mean, if it was me as a coach or an organization, I don't really need Olave trying to lift up Spencer Rattler and be getting a bunch of murder balls. Not that Derek Carr doesn't throw his own.
I'm going to go Baker Mayfield, championship week against the Carolina Panthers. Laser. Laser Mayfield has been, I mean, he's the quarterback six right now in the course of the year. He had a lull when he was dealing with his injuries and Mike Evans' injuries, but he's back. He was great last week. Carolina's defense is 30th in scheduled adjusted fantasy points to quarterbacks.
They're dead last in fantasy points per drop back using zone coverage. So I think this is a great matchup for Baker. And the nice thing is with Bryce Young playing better ball, you might actually need Baker to keep throwing as the game goes on, and that's the hope.
The beginning of the season wasn't all roses for him.
Yeah, for sure.
Cool. I'll take Saquon Barkley. It's interesting that Bijan is the preferred because the argument to me is not – Bijon at number one. It's Jameer Gibbs or Saquon Barkley. That's how I lean, and I'm looking at things. Yeah, the long touchdowns are hard to repeat, but if anybody's going to repeat them, it's Saquon Barkley, who...
frequently has his longest carry of the season is is 40 plus where where Bijan is just no I don't what was Bijan's longest let me know we looked at 37 and 38 as a rookie like and which is that's still great I mean home runs at the running back position are not frequent we can get too wrapped up in Oh, this guy, he's only getting 25 is his longest run.
If you're getting 15-yard carries all the time, then that's fine. I don't care if you're not getting 50-yard runs. But Saquon Barkley, I'm still confident despite him being 28 years old.
I get the discussion around Gibbs as well, and we'll move on to pick number... Most yards before contact since 2016, which I... That's a heck of a performance by the offensive line. It's like, look at last year with DeAndre Swift. I mean... They were doing the same stuff, but Swift is not. He looked like a good player for a second.
He got a lot of money because the Eagles O-line.
Kyle just gave us some pretty interesting information for the three running backs because we're talking about length of run. So percentage of carries that went for five or more yards. Barkley was at 39%. Bijan's at 44%. And Jameer Gibbs is at 41%. So that's what we were talking about where Bijan is consistently getting the smaller chunks, which – Those add up.
Then 10-plus yards, the percentage of carries that have done that. Barkley was at 13. Gibbs at 17%, which is wild. And Bijan's down at 11. And then the big boy carries, the 15 or more rushing yards per touch. Barkley was at 7%. Gibbs at 10%. Bijan down at 4%.
Yeah, yeah.
Cool. I'll take Jameer Gibbs. Mike's just getting the leftovers. So, I mean, these are fun exercises because the weight of the first round pick is massive. Yet, if you're a seasoned fantasy football player, you know you don't win in the first round. Not very often. But you certainly... can set your team way back if you whiff on the first rounder.
So being where we are of getting Gibbs at six, looking at these top six players, that's nice. And then people ask us, where do you want to pick? Where do you want to pick in the first round? And the answer is generally figure out who the elite, elite players are. And then towards the back of that is where I like to be because then I just get a slightly better second round player.
And so far we got six players who I love. This is my line. These six? Yes. And now it changes? Yes.
And in spite of me giving the warning of in the first round this, you can really hurt your team. If I'm in this range as of right now with the news that I have as of this recording, I would take Christian McCaffrey. I would be willing to do it. I would take on the risk. And what's wild about McCaffrey is last year, when we finally got to see him after the double –
Achilles tendonitis coming out of the of the bye week you were like that dude that is not good that is not good Christian McCaffrey and yet the first game back against the Tampa Bay Bucks put up nearly 14 fantasy points and a half uh scoring format nearly 13 the next week uh has the really bad game against Green Bay and then in Buffalo in a quarter of the game
Had 7.7 points in 25% of the snaps and is one shoestring tackle away from a breakaway touchdown that instead turned into his season-ending injury. He will be the focal point of the San Francisco 49ers. You don't have Debo taking away... Look, carries from Debo, the short area stuff from Debo, I think that those targets go right to Christian McCaffrey, so...
It's a massive risk because the burns from last year are third degree that some people may never, ever recover from, and I don't blame you. But at this point of the first, a running back that could finish overall number one, I'm going to go with it. Not just finish number one, but lap the field at number one.
Yeah. So pro tip for you criminals out there. Don't hit a car that's covered in cameras and drive away.
You want me to blow your mind here, Jay? Please. Kyron Williams currently in early best ball drafts. is going at the back of the third round as the running back 14 behind James Cook.
Welcome in! Woohoo! What's going on over there, coffee boy?
He was like Christian McCaffrey levels that two years ago.
I gave you, like, a lot of time there to just say the name. It's between two players for me. My highest, just because of how fantasy football works, it's gross. But I would take A-chan over Derrick Henry, despite hating – Not hating is too strong of a word, but just being frustrated with what was going on in the field for the Dolphins and HN.
It felt like he didn't deserve all those points, but that's how the scoring of fantasy football works. You've got to lean into it. And then the wide receiver, my bro love for Nico Collins is unending. It started so hot, but it didn't finish very well. I think there are reasons for the fall off of Nico and the Houston Texans over the second half of the season overall.
I would go, if I'm on the clock here for real. You are. I'm going to go A-chan here. Okay. I'll go A-chan because there's still a few. I know that, well, I guess it's 12, so I get another pick. But with Nico, Brian Thomas, London, there's still some really elite wide receivers here. And running back is, not that they aren't great running backs here, they're just a different tier.
Yeah, the beginning of last year. Before he got hurt. Correct.
These aren't just poor wide receiver rankings. He's maybe hitting seven points if you're lucky.
Was it zero? Zero. Zero touchdowns. When you're not scoring seven points a week, you're not catching touchdowns. No.
Let's be better.
Yeah. That feels wrong. You're either winning or you're cleaning your house.
Yeah. With the big check. The publisher clearinghouse? Yeah. The big check's not going around.
So, like, I entered the sweepstake? Yeah. No, no, no. That sounds bad.
Because cacti is dumb. You know what else is dumb? Deer and fish. Deers. It's fine. Put an S on there. You're saying because that's not right? A bunch of deer, right? Yes. But you can't say a bunch of deers. You can't because grammatically it is incorrect. But it should be correct. Look at all those gooses. That's dumb. But it shouldn't be dumb. No, it should not. Why did we have to do that?
So if you ever win a big check, I want you to come out and be like, I won this in a sweepstake. Yeah. I bought a single geese. We had a great thing going in our language. They're like, hey, there's more of them. Slap an S on there. It's all we needed to do.
Chase Brown. Yeah. Assuming they don't draft a running back. Correct. There is a much higher chance of the Cincinnati Bengals investing in the running back position compared to the Jets. But status quo, it would be Chase Brown.
Move him if you can. But you can't? You know. Like, who is trading anything?
In the midst of Rico Dowdle's 1,000-yard rushing season, you guys would not have traded for Rico Dowdle. And now that he is staring down, we have no idea what's going to happen with his career.
Yes.
There's just the one bit that we have right now is Clyde Edwards-Alaire did re-sign with the Saints. So it would dynasty wise, if you are rostering him, I would presume he is like he will be the backup for Alvin Kamara. It's funny because he's not totally valueless is what I'm saying.
I'll do it again. Don't tell me how to GM.
Rico.
Rico is just like we were – oh, Clyde. It's just like that of he should – I think he'll get a backup job. I disagree with that Rico won't have a job.
Is he fantasy relevant? No. He is a high-value insurance running back. Right. Yeah. And that's what I think he will be.
To me, the two targets would be Jordan Love and Dak of. It was a disappointing season for Jordan Love, but the way that the pendulum swung two years ago, it was running backs did not score for the Green Bay Packers. Then this past year, especially over the second half, it was Josh Jacobs gets all the touchdowns. I think that that
that will regress to the mean, and maybe even skew a little bit towards the pass just because of the way that that offense runs. But so between him and Dak, I think you've got some good late-round targets.
Laser is my pick. He's QB 8 right now.
What are your guys' quick thoughts here on Patrick Mahomes being still the quarterback six? It's fine.
Yeah, I'm not arguing that in the slightest, but I'm saying in a dynasty league, you want as many backup running backs on that roster as you can possibly handle.
Brooksie's with me. The roster. Brooks knows. You just stash as many backups, and then a week or two pops up. You're like, holy crap. I can't believe I have that guy in my roster, and I'm going to play him.
It's not just that. It's a... You need the other quarterbacks to be bad, to keep and maintain your advantage. We're giving the numbers of they've got to hit this threshold so they are worth the pick. Well, now you've got to look at the field. There are years where the field is subpar, and there's only the two guys at the very top.
And if you have those quarterbacks, you have a big point advantage on a weekly basis. But like last year, you know, Lamar was crazy with the – I'm looking at six-point right now. Sorry to switch formats, but he's over 30. Burrow's at 27. Baker's at 26. Allen's at 25. Jaden's at 24. Goff is at 23.
Like the discrepancy between Lamar and Goff is huge, but like there's a handful of guys who are keeping you competitive, and then the opportunity cost of the other players – The wide receivers, the running backs, the higher probability of the second round pick hitting. Second round is too much for me. If you want to get into a third round discussion, okay, I can see it.
I am on an absolute heater right now. Mike, I want people to know. While you're listening, Mike, is just. I have hit at least six points in a row on the craps table. Oh, okay. Hopefully you're there. Oh, you're going craps.
Or pounced on Baker off of the waiver wire.
I think he was like tight end eight or nine.
Yeah, not a second. Yeah.
Yeah, I agree. Okay. Okay.
We're going to do a – We could have answered that real quick. Yeah, but we didn't. We just didn't. It's just the data. This is why.
Well, I didn't say that I lost... Mike doesn't go that hard. I lost thousands before the heater.
When you have, like, it's his second year in the Monken system. We've kind of been talking about this recently. Having all these OCs change all over the place, it sucks. I mean, it takes a while to get an offense truly – out there and really fully running where people aren't thinking about things. They, they know it. I mean, think about anything that you've done for a long time.
And when you started doing it, you have to consciously think about what the steps are. And then eventually you get to muscle memory where you're, you can just do it. You don't even think about it. You just go out there and do it. And the, like Lamar's passing, like Lamar, His numbers as a passer, he still would have been a top five, top three fantasy quarterback, 4,040.
Then he just gave you 900 rushing yards. So the addition of Derrick Henry to me, huge deal, of course. But adding Derrick Henry doesn't turn you into a 4,000-yard with 40-plus touchdowns through the air. It's not a – You're saying it was Lamar. Yeah, this was Lamar full level up in this system. We're hearing, I guess I haven't heard rumors recently of Monk getting some head coaching interviews.
Because if he left, I think it would be very upsetting next year. Like Lamar would be great for fantasy.
But we've seen him be hot and cold when he has to keep changing all systems. And that was Greg Roman's first season in Baltimore.
Probably. Probably. Between him and Josh Allen. Him and Josh Allen will be really close. Jason and I were so excited for Monken and the Ravens offense last year. This is what we were hoping for. It was a year or two earlier.

It's interesting. The Ravens, just real quick, it might be just an entire team regression because you have Lamar's numbers and then you have Derrick Henry who's almost at 2,000 rushing yards, double-digit touchdowns. Josh Allen, James Cook tied the Bills running back.
rushing touchdown record he tied OJ Simpson so it's not like guys weren't taking away points from Josh Allen the you hate to see that split being that drastic uh over the course of a season but they're that's not gonna freak me out with uh you we have enough sample of Josh Allen no and I I also think that there's I mean it's crazy with having as good a year as he had
His splits are even against great defenses and bad defenses. His home road splits are within 2.8 points. It was very even keeled here.
Yeah.
Oh, so it's actually full on.
Yeah, he is a pocket passer, so we, man, by we, I mean me, really hope that T. Higgins is back for Joe Burrow. If you like fantasy points from Joe Burrow, you should also hope that T. Higgins is back. Joe Burrow with some other options of Jamar Chase can still be great.
But for a pocket passer to hit this type of a ceiling, to do it without a second really good weapon on the field, your probability goes way down.
Nothing to report. Is he still holding the ball? There is nothing to report on the Minnesota Vikings game.
Yeah, he starts with his bull crap at the beginning of the year, which he always does, and then didn't get to settle in.
Yeah, but I mean, career high.
102 carries for Josh Allen.
Joe Burrow next year is probably going to be a very sketchy ADP pick.
He'll replace Stroud. He'll be in like the fifth.
I wear a Minnesota Vikings hoodie on the show all the time.
Right. Well, it was, by the end of the year, that was only three games. Yeah.
So, I mean, that's more interesting of the success of Washington.
Man, you might have lucked out here on some teams' defenses turning sour.
He did take some hits. People had other, like, oh, I have real concerns, big questions about Jay Daniels. Everything was the hits of him getting absolutely crushed in college all the time. Seemingly unable to find the final defender who's going to take him out. But, yeah, it was much better.
The good old days. I wonder who would talk about Kyle Trask like that. I don't know who would. Jason. Weirdos. And his weird love for Kyle Trask. I like to stay. It does give me an idea of – because we're always trying to figure out is there – what you should do for the footies. We need a footie for like the dog.
the dog of the year oh who's who's on that x-ray yeah who's got that dog yeah who's got multiple pit bulls inside now is that a fantasy corollary stat that's the hard part who's got the dog in them we will decide that's you'll know you'll know we'll know that's a film study watch baker this year award the dog no but the scramby of the year No, no, no. I mean, he's like a Denver.
I'm not taking it out of not taking away from Danes. But like when you watch Baker play, like, oh, this is a man.
Did it turn back? I honestly... I would have to go and completely re-watch everything from the Hall 22. Because when...
He was a very consistent part of your – Yeah, the middle of the season was – that was a run where you were – you won four games in a row because of Jalen Hurts.
I felt like everything was just – everything was being designed downfield. There were just too many plays where there was no real escape hatch for Sam Darnold. He probably should have ran more. Yes, he held the ball way, way too long on tons of them. But I felt like a lot of those sacks were – Go look at the routes, and no one is actually open.
Is it as fun? No, definitely not. But it is. It will be Daniels or Hurts next year for you. Oh, Daniels.
It's more fun at Borough, but having a quarterback where you know if they get down to the one-yard line, you're like, hey, that's pretty fun. It's like a free bingo square.
So he's praying for someone to break open, but no one ever does.
Yes, they needed to change something.
Jared Goff's a QB2 streamer. That finished at seven. Yeah. He's the streamer who can have gigantic games. When you're desperately looking at the waiver wire, and you're like, oh, this guy has a good matchup. I hope I get 200 to 250, and hopefully we get two touchdowns. When you stream Jared Goff in the right situation... Four touchdowns is not impossible.
They're such a weird offense because they're insanely overpowered, but frequently, I mean, until Montgomery got hurt, it was like, you have one David Montgomery touchdown per week that Jared Goff is not allowed to throw.
And guess who got hurt at the beginning of week 15.
Not just $50 million, but yeah.
No, he will not. But, I mean, like basically if Allen and Lamar hadn't broken everything, Jared Goff probably wins the MVP.
That's not domination. No, no. That's more balanced. And then Jared Goff next year could potentially have a Ben Johnson problem.
Yeah, I think he'll get a starting job, but it's wild.
Of their OC where... As of this recording, because the Ben Johnson news could leak probably whenever, but it might have to wait until after the Super Bowl again, but we're just not sure. But I'm with Andy. I think Ben Johnson will take one of the jobs this year. Seems like Las Vegas, too. And then it will, yeah, at least the rumor mill is heating up for that. What is this offense?
I know they've got killer pieces that have played together for years now, but it will be a big change.
Goff was traded away to the Lions so they would eat his contract, and then he would be a bridge quarterback until they found their real quarterback, and then their success turned that upside down.
It's wild to go from the locker room video that was circulating around, the whole team just showering him with champagne and professing their love for Sam Darnold. It was like, oh – I guess that answers the question, everybody. The Sam Darnold versus J.J. McCarthy. There's no way that this guy isn't back.
A lot of good games.
He was mic'd up, and this thing goes out and gets leaked. We all think we would be so smart, and we would be the worst.
You wouldn't be allowed. You'd be banned. That's what I'm saying. Seeing that happen to him, you're never putting a mic on me. Mahomes comes in at number nine.
And then the game to win the division and the first game of the playoffs, it was a complete disaster, and it changes everything.
uh, very terrifying to me is last year when it was, Oh my gosh, what happened to my homes? What happened to the Kansas city chiefs offense? He averaged 17 and a half points per game this year. He averaged 17.6 points per game. He was like, his numbers are Close to identical. Last year, almost 4,200 yards. This year, 3,900 yards. So, I mean, the yardage actually went down.
He went down one passing touchdown, same touchdown rate. But everything for Mahomes is who the Chiefs are now next year. Because they're – They can win the Super Bowl this year. Don't know if they will, but is this who the team is now? Because this is not it for fantasy.
He says one of five quarterbacks this year with more than 20% of their attempts behind the line.
He'd be the starter next year. He would.
His ADP will be fascinating.
Yeah. He almost feels like someone where I'm drafting two guys.
Like Jordan Love.
It'll be him and Jordan Love. Jordan Love's ADP is not going to be very high next year after this disappointment. It's like getting him and Mahomes, two guys who you feel like they could be fantastic, but it's going to be interesting to watch.
I know.
I'm trying to keep talking, and I don't know what I said.
I'm concerned about the man's family.
I think you go C.J. Stroud. Is it the sweet unknown of Bo Nix? No, it's not. It's the fact that Bo Nix is going to give me 400 rushing yards. We were excited about Baker's numbers. 400 rushing yards. Yeah, it's not Lamar Jackson. I get it. Those are great numbers. Those are really strong numbers. They're juicy. You love them. For fantasy.
So week five on, week five was when Bo Nix had his first good fantasy game. And those first four weeks, he's a rookie quarterback who – this isn't Jaden Daniels where you look – there's a rookie quarterback who – that guy might rush for 800-plus yards. I'm very interested in that.
So you're not expecting that from Bo Nix, but from week five on, he's a 4,000-yard, 36-touchdown pace with the 400 rushing yards. Those are – Those are pretty exciting numbers. I'm going to be in on Bo.
It definitely can be. My pushback on Stroud would be Like, he was really, really fun to watch. Like, this was an emerging quarterback, the breakout of Nico Collins. But the truth that we talked about of Stroud is he really had two fantasy games. That entire year. He had a couple where he almost hit that 21 mark where he's close, but most of his damage was 42 points against Tampa Bay.
So, I mean, 42 of his 275 points was one game. That was my concern with Stroud. I'm less concerned with Bo Nix.
Yeah, and that's the thing you have to remember, though. Sam Darnold and the Vikings won 14 games. I know the last two were a nuclear meltdown, but he won 14 games. And the two teams that he lost to at the very end of the season, those teams also beat him in the regular season. So is this just a Dan Campbell and Sean McVay? They know how to attack this team the way that they're structured.
With the amount of quarterbacks hurt last year, the points per game would be a little bit more important.
Yeah, a little bit.
So also if you don't know what game we're talking about, we were playing draft Kings pick six, which it's a great game because it's just, it's you against numbers. And like there's, There's stat lines out there, and you pick a handful of players, and you say, are they going to be more or less than the numbers given to you? It's a really, really fun game.
Excited to be playing it over the playoffs here. I have a Jaden Daniels one in mind as well. I'm taking the over on one-and-a-half passing touchdowns. Kyle just shared it for us. Jay, the Detroit's implied team total is 32-and-a-half. The game is at 55-and-a-half. Daddy! Absolutely outrageous number there to hit 55 points. Jane Daniels, all I need is two passing touchdowns.
And then I'm going Isaiah Pacheco, less than 43.5 rushing yards. He... He looked like a guy who came back way too quick from the injury, gets hurt again. I mean, thankfully they had the bye week because the way that Andy Reid was talking about Pacheco going into the playoffs is like, I think we're going to be good here. So I don't like him in this game. You know, he came back.
He's averaging 3.7 yards per carry since coming back from the injury. So I'm not expecting a huge game from him.
Because they looked – Sam Darnold wasn't great. He was missing throws, but they looked thoroughly outcoached in that playoff game.
Will Papa Josh be here?
Oh, there we go.
Goodbye.
The teams are doing that to me a lot lately, guys. Yeah, you're not great for teams when you show up. When I was leaving the stadium, I'm like,
Canadians need not apply.
Don't get your advice from surgery.com. They advise surgery on everything. They got too much skin in the game. Yeah. Big surgery.
Texans are still playing, by the way. They're still in the playoffs. It's technically four rosters in a full calendar year because he was a part of the Steelers until March. This is a team that really needs a receiver, and Deontay Johnson is not going to be a part of that. The whispers from the Bushes were just him being very disappointed in his role.
After they won a playoff game, and he had just gotten there, it was... This is so...
Did we mention we're hiring a graphics person? Oh, that's true. Maybe some video work is just a bonus.
That would make sense. Thank you, Jaden Daniels. Welcome to the party. League is changing.
Kyler wasn't as devastating as Stroud and Richardson.

Oh, I heard like Toling. Yeah, Toling Pollard.
Oh, no, he's not. No, he's not at all.
I think you're putting Pollard in there. You don't want negative points. You want that good morale. I think it's Kendra from those.
Spears is going to be a really good play.
To be fair, in case you need to pivot to Mooney, he is also considered about potential heavy rain for that game in Washington.
We don't know the seasons where weather is bad. Not bad, Mike.
Jerry.

Yeah, I think there was one that was lower. But yeah, in the 15s is not a normal thing on a weekly basis at all. This makes it really hard to me to have confidence in Rico Dowdle.
I mean, he's got a, he's got a DK rushing line of 58 and a half yards, which isn't under. Yeah. Give me the under. I think so as well. You, you've got a bad week last week and without CD lamb against a really good Philly defense. And this is going to be a conservative team, probably offensively a little bit because I don't expect to have Jalen hurts their low scoring game. Um,
It means that really the only player you're even considering on the Cowboys' side is Rico, and if they're not scoring points against a good defense, I don't want to play him.
It would be Cooks.
Yeah, Brandon Cooks if you have to, but I think there's better pivot options out there. As far as Ferguson, maybe he has an uptick. He had nine targets last week, and you'd be like, oh, great. But since he's been back from injury, I mean, 30 yards, 20 yards last week on those nine targets, 40 yards. Like, there's not much there.
The motivation for Saquon going after that record is like I expect them to really, really, really rely on the run game and be opening things up for him this week. So 110 and a half rushing yard line. I think he obviously you're starting Saquon, but I believe you could be really confident in his end of game superiority this week. He should be a top five back.
This is one of the games I'm really, really hopeful that the wind isn't very bad here. There should be a little bit of rain, but I want the pieces in this game. I think Thielen on one side should have to keep up with a very, very bad weather.
secondary for the Bucs Vita Vea has made it very difficult to run on them and you can throw on them so I think Adam Thielen is a great play Bucky Rashad White Mike Evans is so close to his thousand yards he needs 182 yards he's going to be force fed the ball I really, I really, really like almost everybody. The only concerning play, I mean, Bryce Young and Superflex, I think you could put him in.
Chuba is a little bit. Unbelievable last week. Yeah, I mean, he was so good. But over the last six weeks, you've seen Tampa really shut down the running game.
confidence because of those players being like it it matters yeah so wait you're telling me that there's a team implied for almost 30 points who's lost two of his main what are you doing McMillan looks like a good option I think he is a good option even maybe even better than James Connor I think he's he could be he could be they'll be close I uh I'm sure it'll go down to the wire
Just to go back for a second, just to illustrate how bad it will be for whoever wins this game. I mean, because these are two 3-12 teams. You look at the record, you've got New England 3-12, Jacksonville 3-12, Tennessee 3-12, Cleveland 3-12, Vegas 3-12. You're going to you have the chance to go from like the second to the like out of the eighth night. Yeah.
I mean, it's it's like these teams should be trying to tie or something. But but they won't. They won't. And so who do you think is just like last week? We said with the Raiders game, similar situation. It was which team is worst coached. That's who's going to win. Raiders won. So is this Jacksonville? Jacksonville wins this one.
Yeah, Tony Pollard... Like, I'll play him if he's active. You'll play Tony Pollard? Yeah, over Kendra Miller or Gibson or anybody? Yeah, if you're that low, I think you're right. Over ETN. I think if Tony Pollard is active, Tajay Spears is still a player you can start. Tony Pollard was active the last two weeks when Spears was the running back 5 and the running back 12. Exactly, wink.
Last week, he missed practice the whole week, Pollard did, and then played, but played... A minority of the snaps ceded a ton of work to Pollard, who is used both around the goal line and in the passing game. So in this matchup against Jacksonville, I think Spears is an okay play.
100%.
He's at 834. But you have to remember how many games he missed this year, which is none. He has not missed a single game this year.
What's crazy is DTR, his... Oh, it was average at the target. I don't know if you could call it a superpower, but his only ability... His strongest trait as a quarterback is... Is the wheels, is to run. And if he's got a calf issue and he's a little bit immobilized and he's going to be a pocket passer...
Yeah. I don't know how you can start him. I am starting him in one league that I just kind of have to, but I don't want to.
That's pretty crazy.
We know something you don't know. Yeah, I know. It does feel like that. It's like you're going up against a 13-win team at home, and they are the underdogs, which seems pretty crazy. Now, the Packers... The Packers have been a great team in their own right.
You've got to remember they lost Jordan Love for a little bit of the year, and so as an 11-win team, obviously these are two very, very good teams.
I love that this game is in a dome and has a 48-point over-under. On this week, this is the game that I want. Now, I do worry a little bit because you have two good defenses here, and it's a divisional game. So does this turn into one of those really disappointing defensive slugfests? It could. But I also look at this game as one of the few games on the slate this week
where it's like you could get a back-and-forth offensive output without worry about rain. Even if the first half starts slow, once teams start scoring and the other one has to catch up, these are two teams that generally do. If the Vikings are down, they're generally going to air it out and catch up, and same for the Packers.
It's probably somebody like Jaden Reed. Or Dontavian Wicks. Christian Watson has not been practicing this week. Dontavian Wicks, the matchup against Minnesota, the deep passing, on that secondary when you can't run on them is great.
So that's my dart throw of the week for if you need a guy off of waivers that you could throw into your lineup, you know, if he was available instead of my Jerry Judy, I would 100% put Dontavian Wicks in over Jerry Judy.
Dobbs is an okay play, too. Okay, thank goodness. Is he playing for you?
No. Jefferson. You no longer have depth. No, I do not. You just have starters now.
Yep. Looks like the line opened minus four and a half.
Tampa has to lose.
Okay. I think it could be. The fact that the over-under is held and hasn't moved due to weather fears, that's good. And Bijan is going to get a ton of work in this game, especially if there's bad weather. His rushing attempt line is 18.5. So Bijon should get plenty of action, and that's really where people have beaten the commanders is more on the ground versus through the air. Did you guys see?
Maybe you read this. Did you see this crazy stat? This is the first ever regular season matchup in week 15 or later between two rookie quarterbacks where both teams are over 500. That seems impossible. It is a wild stat.
Is that – oh, my gosh.
He does look – he looks so stupid with the backwards hat. It's like he's trying to look young. Can you try that for a second?
I'm so much younger now, man.
Oh, probably, for sure.
Oh, it's going forever. Yeah. I plan on, because I'm hoping that it's. It will be an end of life crisis too. I'm hoping that the end of my life will just keep extending thanks to like AI and whatnot. So. Stay in the mid. So I'll just constantly be in my midlife. Brian. Until our new overlords take us down. Oh, the robots. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course.
B-Rob had a very bad game last week, obviously. Lost the two fumbles. It was against the Philadelphia Eagles, who are so tough. But even just a week prior, he had 21 carries, three receptions. He was the running back 24. The game previous, he was a top 10 running back. I think B-Rob is a player that is fine to start.
Michael Penix looked good. I don't know how he'll play in the rain, and that concerns me more.
Yeah, that concerns me a little bit more. He had eight targets, caught 63% of them. Yeah, I don't view him really much differently than when Cousins was there.
I think maybe players are distracted Christmas week. The preparation, I don't know.
Yep, yep.

Clear skies, good weather.
Jameer Gibbs is indeed a running back. Owl, how are you feeling about this matchup?
Oh, man, I really hope that doesn't happen. Is it locked? Yeah, because they play each other next week.
Yeah. The Lions have it? I think that is right. So I want that Week 18 Lions-Vikings matchup to be for the bye. So I guess I'm rooting for the Vikings this week.
Yeah, that's definitely a good thing. Even to keep the game competitive. Usually you worry about you just can't run on the Lions because of those injuries. The last few weeks, people have been running pretty well against them.
Yeah.
That is who I would go with, and you're bringing up the exact reason why. Debo's receiving lines at 48.5 versus Juwan Jennings at 64.5, and while last week you had Debo very involved in the running game with a handful of carries.
Yeah, but the additional work in the running game I feel like put him maybe where I would start him over Jennings, but that was without Guarindo. What if Guarindo's out? Would it flip it? Yes, it would. If Guarindo does not play, then I'd go Debo.
In the last three weeks, seven targets, ten targets, seven targets. That's the most important thing to me. Because you had some stretches earlier this year where he had good games, but it was because it just happened to have touchdowns and it wasn't really involved.
The involvement over the last little bit, the loss of David Montgomery, meaning I think they really need to rely on Jared Goff for the passing game a little bit more. Like Chig or Laporta, I'm going Laporta.
Holy moly.
Oh, you'll have some hope. I'm still going to have a glimmer. Yeah, and you should.
It deletes him. I also think there's been a handful of people I've seen questions where Jonu Smith has been kind of the answer for the flex option as a second tight end. And depending on who your option is, that might have an effect on Jonu.
Where's the idiot? Where's the idiot? Oh, okay. Oh, okay. Where's the idiot? Found him. Okay. I think we're going to be able to find him. For those listening. Stretch it out over there. Yeah, you got to stretch it out over the noggin. Yeah, oh, that's tough. This is going to be a where's Waldo.
Well, don't forget the place where Caleb would hold the ball for 15 seconds and get sacked. Towards the end of that game, I kept thinking they're going to have one play. Just one play where they block someone. I was like, it's going to happen. Caleb's going to have someone blocked and it was just every single play, the ball is there and so are the defenders.
It's more as if you were him.
Where's Waldo? Oh, this looks really good. You've been working out.
I got to think so. Because if he was trying to be found, he should just change into something that everyone else isn't wearing.
I'm sorry.
Yeah. It's definitely not the sweatshirt.
Jordan Love. As is mine, 6,200.
I have Jonathan Taylor as well at 7,900. And I paid up for Saquon Barkley at 8,600.
I have Dontavian Wicks and Jalen McMillan as well. You're right. Yeah, so I've got those guys. And then Jaden Reed at 5,900. So I'm stacking twice with my dude.
Yeah.
Okay.
Very similar lineups again.
That's a very nice defense. I have Bucky Irving in my flex at 6,700 and the Raiders against the Rat Tail at 2,600.
Super duper stack.
I mean, dolphins can swim, so that weather's not a problem.
It's bulk season, Mike.
Who knows?
It was JSN and Keenan Allen, man.

Dude, you got to wait one more week, Cowboys. Yeah. What's all this? People pay tickets to come see me play. I think that was CeeDee. This is the difference. This is why I thought when we had the quote from John Gannon about
is Connor going to play Connor wanted to play and he's like we're going to do what's best for Connor and best for the team CeeDee Lamb wants to play but the Cowboys are actually doing what is best for the team and for CeeDee Lamb which is protecting himself from himself he shouldn't be playing football for the NFL it just stinks that it's championship week for a lot of people if I were CeeDee Lamb and I knew they were going to shut me down putting out a quote like people pay to come and see me play so I'm going to play that's exactly what I would have done
Me too.
Pride and being there for your team. Does this mean that, like, I haven't seen any report on Derek Carr. But, like, if Olave's practicing and Kamara's trying to make a push to play. And Olave might. As I'm saying, are they just going to have their whole team back other than Taysom just unexpectedly for no reason?
Yeah, they both have very good matchups. Flacco was really bad last we saw him. It's a Giants matchup. I do lean the Flacco side.
Yeah, I think he is very questionable. If you've got Neighbors, you need to be prepared to pivot because as of right now, I was looking at him in certain lineups. I'm like, no, I'm not putting him in.
I'll look that up.
It's worth mentioning, if you're going to not play a player who plays on Saturday, if you're not going to play them, depending on your league platforms, cut them. Cut them. Cut them. They won't be available for waivers. No one can pick them up. You don't need them next week if this is your championship.
It's a really tough choice.
Unbelievable.
What do we got?
Oh, that will be the ultimate comeuppance for me.
Yeah, but then Al tried to be like, well, of course it's Sutton. Man. Is that Al's voice? It is when one player's like, I don't have my superstar running back. He's like, yeah, but Corlin's son got eight points. Mike is back, baby.
We may have a return here.
Well, we had been very... What was that all about?
I can't... Like, if that had been a touchdown, and the way that he was, like, timing the drop, how cool is that?
I assume not. I did nothing. This was... Trying to exist. Yeah. You know how sometimes you're like... Sick day. I'm going to watch shows. Yeah, you're going to watch Netflix. None of that bull crap. It was just live and try to fast forward and time warp until this is over. I am 75% Theraflu right now.
How is James Conner not the RB1 this week?
That's the issue of last week. I liked the spot the Cardinals were in. I thought Kyler was a decent play. The Cardinals put up 30 points. And Kyler did nothing concrete.
That joke needs to stay offline. We cannot proliferate.
Give any credence to that nickname because we only use it because it's so bad.
It comes down to Bryce Young. Did we get fooled? Well, it's the wrong word. Did we get did he just get this? You know, he played really, really well after coming off the bench. And now the old me like some of the habits or things that they have. I don't know if I can't do the mic. If you're not on the video, Jason has two mugs. He's got two mugs.
I'm not on purpose. I keep hitting the handle of one together. Because you have two mugs in a very small space.
There you go. Right hand, left hand. There we go. There's no way he's not spilling that mug on the other side. I'm not used to right-handing this. It is... Is Bryce Young just... Is he going to revert right back?
Having said that, I would play Thielen. But...
Everybody in the entire world is now doing the every single week. This is it. I'm calling the Trey McBride touchdown. It's not happening. Ever.
So that was the, the first time I had woken up all week where I'm like,
Safer floor.
And then you'll be fine. Marvin's been seven or fewer points in three of the last four. Yeah, I think people are.
Yeah, it's been his previous explosive week would have been week seven. Gets the Atlanta Falcons four for 99 with the score. Misses two games. His first game back after the bye week, seven for 70. Okay, that's fine. And then it's just been subpar every game after that.
No.
Yeah, perfect. You guys, I would not put it past you to pick on a sick guy.
Oh, that's a tough question.
Well, if you're a billionaire, it's actually not that much because then you just make other people pay for it. It's really nice.
So it's possible. So it's possible. So you're telling me there's a chance. I can't remember what team it was. This game is... Look, I'm not... I'm playing Allen. I'm playing James Cook. It's all these things, but this game gives me the heebie-jeebies.
Of like...
As in the randos on the bills score, and then they're just cruising. What are the Patriots going to do here? What are they going to do? Oh, the Patriots are going to fold.
Dallas businessman John Spano pretended to buy the New York Islanders.
At what point of the con are you like, I got to get out of this thing. They're going to find out.
This isn't like you've got a free dinner. You're buying a sports team?
He's like a billionaire. He's like, oh, I forgot my wallet again, guys. Can you get this check?
Really? I do. He's been better. He has visibly looked better to me on the last couple weeks. He's been, in the last two games, about 10 points.
Yeah, I totally agree. But I think that ETN's like I think he's safe to give you eight points or so because of the penalty.
And then on the other side, what do you do with... The Raiders have quietly given us running back production. It's been gross, but we're back to Alexander Madison as the primary guy. His DK rushing line is only 46.5, which that sounds about right. But he has managed to get into the end zone a few times. If you're desperate, are you looking at Madison or Travis Etienne?
If only. If only they knew what the schedule was.
Madison, over the first portion of the season before he got hurt, missed a bunch of time, and McCormick had his games, he was still getting targets. Six targets, three, one, three, five, three, five. I don't know. I think Madison is disgusting in its bottom of the barrel. You're hoping you don't have to do it, but you're sitting on Tony Pollard. You get really bad news heading into the weekend.
It's like, what do you do?
Oh, would he?
No, he said, oh, would he?
Is there a chance we just have an absolute... stink fest.
Because both coaches know the other person and their tendencies so well.
And you see the news that Trent Williams might be out for the season.
They looked unstoppable.
Yeah, that's where I am too.
He's been limited this week in practice. It's not the same terror as last week where it was like just nothing. You're like, I hope he's okay.
Much to my chagrin, because I did message you guys how – Annoyed. And look, this is the me problem. This is a 100. Maybe other people had the problem too, but them rotating their running back. Literally every snap felt not... To me, it didn't feel fully strategic. It felt like Sean Payton's like...
Is he playing on your team? You're darn right he is.
About 19 for 86 against Washington before that run happened.
With Cooper Rush. That has been – well, he had plenty of games with Cooper Rush catching passes. I mean, Rush has been the starter since week 10. It has been lately, though, that it has disappeared. So, Mike McCarthy, let's get the passes dialed up here. But also, you're welcome, Mike. Yeah. Freaking idiot. Are you talking to yourself?
Yes.
And he will get it done again.
He was so juiced from week one, though. Like, he was – let me go look at his actual numbers, but it was like two huge weeks.
yeah i can do it i can i can do this because i'm sean payton and just and it worked for for a bit there and then uh then they never a running back never caught momentum yeah the running backs got tired from all the running on and off the field it's funny it's like they were sprinting off that is a distance to cover you're doing wind it's literally more than they run when they get the ball on the vast majority of occasions so you're talking about fresh legs like
Wow.
I would put Watson at the top.
But I trailed off because I'm... My confidence level is not high. Yeah, Dobbs got the touchdowns last week. Oh, man.
I'm talking to the athletes. Their job is to go play football.
You dominated, and then Amon Ra stole my second place.
All right, spin the wheel. Right back in the studio, just in time for the Wheel of Shame. I hope it's something that covers my mouth breathing. Ho, ho, hopeless. Oh, what do we got? Oh, we got a full Santa gear?
A wig?
All right, you're going to have to go to someone else. We're going to need about a five-minute break.
Scared money don't make money, Jason. Michael Penix Jr.
You're done right on me. Whoa, what do I look like?
Yeah, Michael Penix. Did you go Michael Penix? Yeah, he's playing the New York Giants, and he's $4,500.
Why are you so tired? Coach, you caught me running 50-yard wind sprints every other snap.
I like the Brian Thomas there. I have Malik Washington at 3,700. I have Juan Jennings, hopefully correlating in the same game, at 5,900. And then who's this guy? Oh, Jamar Chase.
I have Trey McBride because I'm told he's going to score a touchdown every single week at 6,200. Even if he doesn't score a touchdown, the dude is just PPRing his way into greatness. I'm running 12 personnel out yet again. Currently have Brenton Strange in there at 3,500. I'll probably have to pivot to Chig because he's like right around the same amount of money should Strange not play.
And then I have, I'm going with the other defense, Andy. I'm taking the Colts. I'll take the home team, 3,000 against Mason Rudolph. Ho, ho, ho.
You're going to want to burn this beard, fellas.

Like, why is it always a walking boot?
I mean, he would. Oh, that would be a weapon. And he'd be safe. I feel like he would always be just tilting one direction.
He's got to start in the slot. Otherwise, he's going out of bounds. He's a little. Yeah, he's uneven.
You made Brees Hall your star of the week? I told him I'm not there with him. This is only a man crying out in pain.
Like I said, this is just a man who is angry.
Honestly, Andy and I are squaring off in the semis in the dynasty. Our dino senior.
Andy is the underdog. And my final decision comes down to a spot where it's – I have Jerome Ford. Right. And it was, oh, I don't like that DTR is the quarterback, but hey, he should be getting all the work. He's got juice. It's the Bengals. Yeah, and it's the Bengals. I love my running backs against the Bengals. I just want pieces of that. And I didn't want – I'm sorry.
You didn't want this decision. I didn't want Ken Walker to make the decision hard for me because I think he is – even starting him is so difficult. A healthy Ken Walker against Minnesota is like, oh, are we going to get one of those real crappy where he's like two yards per carry, maybe he catches three passes and it's just nothing? Do you remember when – Staring it down is really, really hard to –
to start him do you remember when Kenneth Walker played against the Detroit Lions and that tough run D before they lost their defense and he was the running back two with three touchdowns yeah no he can but what was his what was his line aside from the touchdowns he was 12 for 86.7 yards I didn't recall four receptions for 36 and he could that's where it's hard because Ken Walker can do that Ken Walker can also be 40 yards on 15 attempts and nothing else

I am a fan of that now, too. I think, you know, before most everyone was just streaming and you had your cable company or whatever, it was not as fun. But when you can just kind of put both up on the screen and swipe to the left or to the right to change your audio, it's pretty fun. It's only good if one of the games stinks.
My lineup changes every day, though, so I can't share it yet. That's true.
Yeah. Yeah, they'll say this is inappropriate content.
Yeah, it is tough. I think that the advice is you want players in this game. Because of the injuries to the Detroit Lions defense, what we saw last week from the Buffalo Bills in that Rams game when they were on the road, it was just this insane output of scoring. You want players in this game. It's tough because Amari Cooper last week, 14 targets. That's fantastic.
But there wasn't Keon Coleman active. There wasn't Dalton Kincaid active. Now you've got more kind of mouths to feed. And it's a little bit more difficult to say with, you know, emphatic certainty that Amari Cooper is going to be great. I do think Amari Cooper has a good game.
The fact that he's been fully integrated now, I would want to play Amari Cooper coming off of 14 targets in the highest over-under of the season against a very injured defense with two awesome offenses. So when I'm looking at this game, I want these ancillary pieces. That's why I picked up Keon Coleman. It's risky. It's a gamble. But you just think, which game is going to have a ton of touchdowns?
And this game certainly is at the top of the list this week.
I actually do have confidence in not playing Kincaid.
Yeah, so Dalton Kincaid before the injury, 31 yards, 32 yards, 24 yards. That is garbage.
That's just unusable. And keep in mind, like 32 yards one of those weeks came on 10 targets. It hasn't worked. It's been out of sync. I'm not using the playoffs as week one with his first week back from injury to throw him in.
I would, yeah.
Yeah, I would have Amari Cooper just from the utilization, the fact that he's more downfield, gets air yards. In a game like this, I would go Cooper, Shakir, Coleman. But Shakir's got a pretty high floor.
He was the number one quarterback. Yeah, three last week. He's been throwing some touchdowns, and this is the type of game. He has at home in a dome.
Yeah, I imagine they will score four touchdowns at least. And if that's the case, you know David Montgomery gets one and Jameer Gibbs gets one. That's like law.
Update here on Jeremy and I's matchup.
So I have no one on Monday night as of this moment, and he has two. And on your roster, but go on. Correct. He has two guys named Bijan Robinson and Justin Jefferson.
So I'm going to need to be up by 50, 60 points, something like that, and I will not be. So, Jeremy, congratulations.
All right. You got me. Come on. What a great joke. This is no time for joking. Yeah.
Nine targets.
That's all. Yeah, he's obviously been a very squeaky wheel the last week despite winning.
What his wide receiver number is on the year?
I do not know. I would guess about 10. Mike? Yeah, he's a top 12 guy.
If you didn't watch the game, it was a very wet, rainy game as well. Heavy rain pour. Um...
On a per game?
I would lean towards Amari Cooper. Same.
Yeah, George Pickens missing this game actually hurts, I think, a lot of the players. Because I worry about whether or not the Steelers will be able to score enough points to push the Eagles to be able to need A.J. Brown and Devontae Smith. So it was really sad that he's going to miss this game. You know, the over-under, I was not surprised to see it come in at only 43.
Yeah, and I would lean the under. These are two good defenses and one offense is missing its primary weapon.
Yeah, to me, that's more like DFS. I'm not going to play him in my playoffs. I think there's better options.

Yeah. Yeah, I think that's fair. So that's not a must start. I will say that in Marv's games, he's pretty hot and cold. We've talked about the difference between those games where he gets the touchdown and the games where he doesn't, but it's not just because of the touchdowns. Usually the games where he gets the touchdown, he just – has a much better game all the way around.
So, well, I'll get there early. I'll get there. The show's just starting. But yeah, it was it was a wet game and it turned into one of those occasional divisional slugfest where the two defenses are up for the task and the weather mixed with the fact that these teams see each other often. Just the offenses could not get anything going.
More yards, more receptions. And so if you're thinking, is this the type of game that will be good for Marv, it does line up pretty well to be a successful one.
Yeah, I think that that is one of those that makes sense. Keenan makes complete sense. I think DeAndre Hopkins can make sense there as well where I would probably move Marv in ahead.
I think he's a flex option. I mean, you you saw last week Zach Charbonnet completely go bonkers on the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona. Now that. I think that's more the Seattle scheme. Yeah, I mean, that seems more like a one-off because the Cardinals defense prior to that game had been very good against the run.
So I don't expect big things from Ramondre, but he gets enough volume where he's a flex option.
Pacheco. Okay.
Yeah, Ladd is in. I know he's a little dicey because you worry, oh, will he re-aggravate the injury? It's a fair worry, and that could be a tiebreaker if there's someone else that you have that's a really good wide receiver and a high tier. But without that, I would definitely be starting Ladd McCulloch. He was... So good. He's so important to this team.
You have Baker and the Bucs can often put up points against good defenses. So if this turns into a shootout, you had three top 24 performances in a row right up before the injury. Two of those were, you know, the wide receiver 12, the wide receiver 10. Ladd should be in your lineup.
Yeah, I would say the head can spin. The projectile can vomit.
Okay.
Yeah, I would rather play Ertz than Otten right now. Ertz has a touchdown in three straight games and a much better matchup. This is a difficult matchup for him. And also, you know, I talked about how Baker... This often sometimes can really surprise and come out and look great, especially with Mike Evans back. However, the Chargers have, you know, this is a team that likes to hit the under.
This is a team that plays good defense. And so I have Baker on my roster, and right now he's not in my lineup.
Yeah, I'm scared of Baker and Kate Otten in this.
I think it'll be extremely heavy Rashad White. Sean Tucker might be used around the goal line. I mean, he's the type of player that can come in and vulture a touchdown, and so you could get lucky in that way. But again, not a good matchup for projecting that. So it would be Rashad White as like a, Super confident start, and I would not want to play with Sean Tucker.
I'm hoping that he is. This is your voodoo dark magic.
Yeah, I mean, the truth is when we were talking about earlier in the season that he had so many rushing opportunities and yardage with no rushing touchdowns that that that was going to regress to the mean. And the touchdowns would come.
And now it is flipped so far back, I think it is sound advice to just say it probably is not going to stay where he's scoring a touchdown to three touchdowns every single week. And that has been hurting the passing game and the fantasy value of some of these wide receivers. So this could be the game. You know, it makes sense to me that...
Jordan Love would be able to have a better game, and maybe one of these wide receivers like Jaden Reed, wild card, goes from goose to golden goose.
How would you order the wide receivers? And I guess, who is your number one? Is it still Jaden Reed off the goose? Is it Christian Watson?
Does Reed get a touchdown? I don't know. Okay. I was one that – I haven't watched the game yet. Well, but that's what I was asking because I was hoping it tingled the little feathers on the back of your neck or whatever you have.
All right, and then DK Metcalf, JSN are both of them ahead of the Packers wide receivers?
And in the opposite order of how I just read it? Yeah, JSN, I mean, wild.
For sure. The last six weeks, the Packers are 25th against running backs. So over the course of the season, they might look a little better, but recently they've been giving up points. So Charbonnet's must start.
Yeah, I mean, it's very important for NFL purposes, standings, playoff seeding, all that.
Was that the game where they were crushing the Bears? I believe they were killing the Bears, and then the Bears had some crazy, like the last two or three minutes of the game somehow got it back to overtime and then lost.
No, your season is definitely not over. There are gooses every single week, and while it's not helpful, the gooses will more often be on the losing team. There are plenty of times that you can overcome a goose. You will make some changes. Now, you don't have to. You don't need to get crazy. But look at your projected total and your opponent's projected total.
Sam Darnold's a fine play. He has been a good quarterback for this whole stretch run. So it's going to be, you know, hopefully if you had Brock Purdy or Sam Darnold, you chose Darnold. You know, yesterday that you went with Brock, or not with Brock Purdy, but with Sam Darnold. I think Sam Darnold is, like, Andy, you've got Justin Herbert as your start of the week.
It's a good matchup against Tampa Bay. I would rather start Sam Darnold.
Oh, yeah. If that's an easy pivot, that shows – please try to bench DeAndre Swift.
I do think DJ Moore is an okay start. Since the transition was made at coordinator, they've utilized him better. The matchup is really nice. His explosive ability means that you could end up with a very big game. So, you know, you talk about adding volatility in. DJ Moore, I mean, it's not. Yeah, that's fair. He is someone that can be boom bust.
He can go out there and score five points, but there's not a handful, there's not a ton of people that can go out there and score 25 points. You could see that from DJ Moore in a game like this.
If it was close because you were a five-point underdog and Cooper Cup had 15 projected points, now you're a 20-point underdog. Okay, well now maybe you look at your matchup and say, this flex option player is the wide receiver for his quarterback. That's not going to catch me up. Maybe I pivot to someone else or...
Yeah, he'll throw a touchdown in this game, which is great – Probably. Yeah, that was on purpose. I think he'll throw a touchdown in this game, but that's good news for Drake London. His receiving line is at 66 and a half, and we've talked about he's been pretty decent for fantasy.
He's not been disappointing through this Kirk Cousins terrible stretch, but it hasn't been great because there have been no touchdowns. I think Drake gets a touchdown this week.
Oh. I don't think you can do it.
I will say this.
Let's say you had Cooper Cup, okay? And you're starting. You don't want to. Yeah, okay. Okay, and so right now you've got Kate Otten in there.
Would you rather play Stone Smart? Yes.
Now, I want to remind you, the Raiders are very, very bad against tight ends. 32nd in the last six weeks. Kyle Pitts is very, very bad as a tight end. Okay. All right.
Yeah, just out of self-respect.
Brock Bowers or Kyle Pitts?
Jacoby Myers is great. I mean, the Falcons right now on the season, they're dead last against wide receivers. Jacoby Myers, now it's Aiden O'Connell looking to play. I would like to play Jacoby Myers. I think he's a good play this week.
Yes.
192.98.
Pretty Pretty Princess. Aw, it's like T-Swift is back on the show again. Oh, she's back. She's back. I should have just done Taylor Swift.
We got the tiara. There we go. And then there's one last thing. Oh, we're going to put it over the top.
Yeah, I mean, that's not the example. To me, it's more of you're looking for someone that can go crazy.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, what a pretty princess you are. Yeah. Okay. It looks great.
Wild. I am saving $100 off of that, and I'm going with Justin Herbert, your start of the week at $5,900. I got Kyler.
It's the tightest. I tried that tiara on when we got it, and it hurt my head so much.
I have Rashad White as well at 5,800. I did not see a world where I couldn't put in Derrick Henry in cash. 8,300, very expensive, but he should have one to two million yards.
Winston, that's the type of dynamite that sometimes you need. Although, I will say this specifically because I've got Winston right now. He's got a bad weather matchup potentially in his outlook as well.
I'd be sad if you didn't. I'd be just so disappointed in you.
I am a pretty princess.
Last week, I almost got to 200 going with my all J team. So I'm going all A team this week. I've got Adam Thielen, Amari Cooper, and Amon Ross St.
I went with Stone Smart. Stone Smart.
No.
You're doing a podcast. I know. I want the waivers to run before the podcast is over. Let's see here. Your flex and your DST. Brian Robinson Jr. in that matchup against the Saints at 6,200. And my defense is the Chargers, which I don't love that.
all right all right i got him just update i want the people to know oh boy wow i am putting in sam darnold he was on the waivers he was sorry i am putting in sam darnold the guy who i've besmirched so much i am writing with my golden ticket darnold you're you're facing justin jefferson yes okay which i thought you didn't want I don't want the wide receiver in that situation.
I think the reverse, he can still have an awesome game with everyone else.
You know what it is the end for?
Dude. Debo would be a big story if it wasn't for the fact that hopefully everyone was already benching Debo. Oh, man. Because Debo had seven targets and two carries. His opportunities were great. He finished with 19 combined yards. It's rough, man. I feel like they have to cut him this offseason.
It really did seem like Debo should go on a run to take over. In the years prior, when one of those guys has been injured, the other just becomes a sensational star.
But it looks like it's gone. It does not compute.
Yeah, I mean, I brought it up a little bit when I made him my start of the week yesterday that he missed practice. We need to monitor that because obviously him being healthy is important. Tajay Spears, I think, would actually be a pretty good play if he is the only guy. He's not as talented as Tony Pollard, but he is talented in his own right.
And if he gets all the work with, you know, fresher legs, that would be interesting. Obviously, this isn't ruling him out just because he's missing practice. He's had a lot of workload this year, so just keep monitoring up until game time.
I want him to be great at football and play.
He might be. It's not a great matchup, but, you know, desperate times.
I know what he can't see. He can't see whatever's right in his face. That's what I'm saying.
He needs some readers in the pocket.
It's not the best way to do it. I have always... I don't even know and I don't try to remember because I know it doesn't make sense. But then when I try to think through it and the farsighted means you can or cannot see far.
