Like he's great.
Like we talk about, you know, like, can you just put your phone down and like, we'll have dinner.
It's not like he's constantly engaged in it, but you do notice him picking it up a lot more around like footy games and key events and things like that.
And like, I look at it and I'm like,
that is just like hectic.
The amount, like it's ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping.
And he has the FOMO, but at the same time, it's like, what is that dragging you away from?
You know, like, are we trying to have dinner right now?
And sometimes he'll be like, wait, like there's like one minute left in the game.
Like everyone's going crazy.
And I'm like, okay, cool, cool, cool.
That's fine.
But like, what if like we had kids and they really needed you or yeah.
So I think we just have to look at the flip side of it as well, because group chats aren't harmless.
They one can make
the participant feel like really overwhelmed and like really overburdened for trying to care for everyone in there emotionally and the mental load of responding to everything and making everyone feel validated.
But at the same time, what are you missing out on in your real life?
Oh, I think a lot.
Like, I don't know too much about body language and things like that and the psychology of that, but I think just like everyone will know what that feels like to have a conversation one-on-one versus on a
like a group chat, like that is, yeah, it's just completely different.
