Americans spend more on health care, avoid care because of costs, and have more preventable deaths.

The U.S.

is also an outlier on universal health coverage.

In the U.S., we're kind of going backwards.

She mentions major funding cuts to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act marketplaces.

has fewer primary care doctors and medical school graduates than peer countries.
