That's where we were taken.

And when you know that academically, that's fine.

But once you arrive and start to live that and feel that, something changes in you, but not immediately.

And additional things were happening, like being given our DNA results and seeing really plainly

that we're Nigerian, not just African, we're Nigerian and West Bantu people and the Congo.

And suddenly everything that's just words becomes a feeling and you can feel your ancestors.

So it sort of changed everything, that show.

And I've never been more proud of television that I'd made and that we'd made.

What, the tsunami?

Yes.

It's so funny because I forgot, not forgot, but I never discuss it and never think about it.

Truly, no nightmares or anything.

And it came up on Miss Me like year one because Lil was talking about when he keeps in the tsunami.

And the whole team were like, what?

And since then, I've talked about it a few more times and have actually had to face it in a very different way.

It's weird.

Trauma.

It comes in so many different forms.

And now I'm not afraid of the sea at all.
