Uh that reminds me of a story that Don Jr.
tells about how when he was growing up, his mother, um, Ivana, who was had been from the Czech Republic, used to take them back or send them back to stay with family uh over long summers.
Um and he said it just really struck him the the poverty there, the the lines in the stores, the empty shelves, et cetera.
Just how good uh that we have it in America.
And it's not a hard read.
I mean, it's a rollicking adventure full of uh challenges and heroes and uh just a wonderful story, a wonderful tale.
And um, it is really criminal that this deliberate attempt has been made to erase it from the memories of uh a new generation or two.
Um, I wanted to ask you, there is a twisting, you know, there's still this sort of
remnant memory uh that America began with a revolution um and then uh later a civil war.
And and that vestigial memory has been twisted, it seems to me, uh, by these modern-day Marxist revolutionaries into uh it really talk of the blood in guts of maybe a French Revolution style, um, you know, heads on pikes, uh et cetera, and blood capitalist blood on the streets.

W how how how dangerous do you think the times are that we are living in and do we have the wherewithal to keep our republic, as John Adams said, or not Ben Franklin.

And I I wanted to just explore a little bit about the arcane ideas about uh about book publishing because of course New York Times bestseller list is um even though it's a corrupt thing, it's
It's still a great booster of sales and still prestigious.
Um, and I know that uh you mentioned the first wick your book came out.
Jill Biden's book also came out, sold way less than you and ended up number one.
