After getting two nights of rest, the Nuggets welcomed one of their toughest opponents, the 10-30 Washington Wizards, who were on the second night of a back-to-back and had to fly in the previous night.
The Nuggets played well on offense for most of the game, but their defense was almost non-existent.
The entire game came to the last six minutes of the first quarter.
Washington was up five.
Jamal hit a highly contested turnaround long mid-range shot, which only he hits with regularity in today's NBA.
Tim Hardaway made an end one on a layup, and Jamal made another tough jumper.
Hardaway dunked with his left hand, and Aaron made a crucial three-pointer from the top of the key.
Jamal makes a pull-up three and another mid-range shot from the ISO ball.
Gordon catches a finale hoop from Bruce Brown, and the game was over.
The Nuggets scored 38 points in the final frame, 31 of which came from Murray and Hardaway.
Yes, there were a lot of jumpers that went in, but there is some Jokic ball efficiency when it matters the most.
7-3 without the big guy at that point.
