the metric agrees with you shea is number one and it's not a small margin honestly against number two uh metric still has nikola jokic at two ahead of victor manama but i i could see this this difference shrink even more in the last in the last game because victor has been rising his net rating and his box plus minus as well and of course garnering or all of those wins

On this whole list, the only guy that has fewer wins than him is Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Edwards, if you still count him as a candidate there.
So yeah, the Nuggets have not won a lot of games.
And I used to be really loud against using wins as the biggest factor when it comes to MVP race.
But at the same time, if there's like a 10-15 game difference between the two teams, you just have to acknowledge that this guy wasn't able to lift his team to the level.
