Bill Baker, from physical trees, early physical trees, to trees as a metaphor, you've called the tree of life biology's periodic table.

Can you explain what you mean by that?

And you've been involved in the building of a complex tree of life at Kew.

Can you explain to us how you go about doing that?

So very fundamental, really, in terms of how life evolves.
