I found this fascinating.
One of the frequent questions that they were getting was at the end of the Sermon on the Mount.
It's just a little simple verse.
And most of these people who are asking these questions were young people.
Yeah.
Because they're reading this verse at the end of the Sermon on the Mount.
Let's see.
Where does he say that?
where he says, be perfect.
Well, it's at the end of chapter five.
Talking about love your enemies and talk about that deal about adultery and divorce and oaths and eye for an eye.
Remember the murder and anger, fulfillment of the law, all this.
And then he gets down and says...
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
So as they're running these questions, and they ran more than one that said the same thing.
They're like, I'm reading this.
Why would he say this?
Because that's not attainable.
They all had the same vibe like, oh, this has been a great study that y'all are doing.
But why would Jesus say something that can't be done?
