We had a house church at that time at our house, and he came the first time.

And he was sitting over there in the corner.

He wouldn't say anything to anybody.

And he was on his phone the whole time.

And it kind of made me mad.

I was kind of like, this guy.

Like, he's just ignoring us on his phone.

But what he was doing was he was fact-checking everything I was saying.

He was.

He was, like, looking the stuff up in the Bible or online or whatever.

And I didn't know that at the time.

Well, I liked that once I heard it later.

But then I met him, and I just wasn't sure about him.

And I told John and Paula, I was like, I don't know.

I just don't think this guy's going to work out.

And so I was not high on him at all early.

But now, I mean, watching him.

It's just almost like watching Johanna, but watching his spiritual journey.

And the first time he won me over, it was quite a bit into their relationship, but she got real sick and was in the hospital.
