Yeah look it's an intriguing distance 150 meters you rarely see it in fact you rarely see it on the bend usually they'll do this race in Europe and it's just on a pure straight 150 meters but this time we're on the bend and yeah look he's a 200 meter runner he runs 100s the 150 was always going to be interesting but he was up against Noah Lyles the king of sprinting and he came out yesterday he was confident he was ready to go and break the world record and he did just that and

Following along with him was Gout Gout, who runs, I think now, the fourth fastest time ever over the 150, and it's a world under 20 best, so it's a great night for the young Australian.

He's not quite a champion in terms of Australia but he's our champion and he delivered for us again.

Yeah, absolutely.

I think so.

I mean, look, Oslo, of course, it was a little nerve wracking.

It's his first time racing in the open ages, the majors of the Diamond League, and he's the second youngest to ever do it.

So

I think there's always something attached to that.

But today, he just looked confident.

He felt relaxed.

He had a little bit more spring in his step.

He looked like that gout gout we all know and love.

And, geez, I asked him after, I said, is it a little bit of a weight off the shoulders?

He said, yeah, it is.
