I'd say the following.

Thoughts are causative.

There is an intimate relationship between what we experience and our emotionalized thoughts.

There are also countervailing measures.

And

It can be very difficult for people to swallow and accept that.

There are extreme countervailing measures sometimes that

present impossible barriers to people.

Physical decline is a fact.

Mortality is a fact.

That said, I do think there is some kind of law of mental causation, correlation that I take very, very seriously.

And I think that there is a perceptual reality.

And in a way, I would even say that's the end point of all magic, prayer, liturgy.

We're seeking the actualization

of a wish and uncanny things occur.

There are also disruptions to those uncanny things, and it can be a very tight path for the seeker to walk.
