And speaking of reading with us, now it's time to reveal our book club book for July.
In July, the book review book club will be reading John of John by Douglas Stewart.
It's the Booker Prize-winning author's third novel, this one about two lost men, Cal, a young gay Scottish man who returns to his conservative village and has to hide that he's gay and is trying to figure out how to be and exist, and his father, John, who is Cal's chief antagonist but who is hiding secrets of his own.

Of course.
I always like to treat the summer as a catch-up time.
We have to work, but like in my brain, it's still school mode, summer vacation.
And like, when else am I going to have time to read that giant 700-page novel?
When else am I going to have time to read this classic?
But then I like to be outside in the grass reading something fun and...

But within us, there are two wolves, one monkish one that wants to read a classic and one that wants to read a crazy thriller in a hammock.
