Right now, we have up an article headline, Book Club, Read Yesteryear with The Book Review.
Readers from all over are sharing their thoughts about the book, and they are just as divided as we are.
Some people love the book, like Leanne from Atlanta, who wrote...
I loved reading a feminist book from the perspective of such a strong anti-hero.
As a character, Natalie subverted my expectations of a religious trad wife.
As a protagonist, Natalie is the perfect vehicle for the real main characters, we the readers.
We are standing in as the voyeuristic followers of her shiny online persona, here to relish what we suspect will be her downfall.
Whether we identify as an angry woman or an acolyte, Natalie's spiky edges and self-righteous internal dialogue ensure that we hold her at arm's length.
So that's Leanne who loved it.
Others hated it, like Cheryl from Reno who wrote, I enjoyed the novel at first, but then it bogged down in the middle and the ending was contrived, lazy, and disappointing.

I wound up wishing I could get back the hours I spent reading this one.
Oof, harsh, but a lot of readers agree.
Others still, though, felt mixed.
They didn't love the book, but they felt that something was interesting about it.

Joanne from Ontario wrote, However,
Interesting points of discussion.
What makes a good parent?
Why try to sell someone's lifestyle?
