And everything you just mentioned, too, by the way, it's not his fault.
He was drafted here.
He was drafted here knowing that he told people, I'm getting shoulder surgery, was still drafted, coach being fired before he even played for him.
There's a whole bunch of shit that happened within his development, but I still think overall when you look at drafting players,
uh devin carter it was just frustrating too because at that point there was like maybe was it 700 cards on the team 702 i don't know but it was just like yeah it's just it was all around like just like a uh why my perspective was different uh when they traded uh drafted him i liked his game um i i think someone who watching him at providence uh

And I do feel like him in the right situation, he can actually prove people wrong.
And I obviously hope that happens for so many players around the league when they get put into a different situation, prove someone wrong, prove what they really have, everything else.
But with someone like Devin Carter, he's also going to have to
shit.
Like you don't want to dim your light as anybody like in this world, just don't ever let anyone dim your light, but there's a balance to your confidence and the way that you might approach things that you do have to find a balance to it.
And I, I obviously didn't see how he took on coachable moments, but I'm just going to say it felt like at times the way that he saw the game and the way that he would just have tunnel vision and want to do his thing that he was
He didn't ever grow in those in those spaces.
And so I just I hope that he becomes the type of player that like utilizes his athleticism and his ability to like have a nose for the ball on the boards and everything else and defensively put that effort forth.
