And I was like, well, that's great because I come back.
So what I ended up doing was I downloaded like the Australian Standards and Codes of Practice and I took it home and I taught myself everything over about a month.
And I would Google words I couldn't read and I would make it accessible for me.
So I'd put it in a different sentence, taught myself.
And within a month, I knew more about legislation and code than any other person in the office.
I fostered a couple of my nephews as well, and I ended up taking in my sister, Vinnie.
So my mom's, all of her health stuff started to happen around when I was about 15.
22, 23, around early 20s.
And because I've always been the closest with my sister, me and Vinny have been closest since she was born.
My mom just said to me, would you, if anything happened to me one day, or when it does happen to me, can you be Vinny's caregiver?
And I was like, yes, I'll take her now.
Let's do it.
And she was like, what?
Vinny was like, yeah.
And so I just took her and I've been her caregiver for 10 years.
So Vinnie was born with an intellectual disability called Miebius syndrome.
She was the second person ever born with it.
Basically, what a specialist explained to me how I make it accessible to people is right now she's 33 years of age, but mental capacity of a teenager, a small child teenager, and it just grows slowly.
So when she came to me, she couldn't go to the toilet on her own.
She couldn't dress herself.
