It was supposed to collapse at the beginning of this war.

It didn't.

The United States will no doubt try to make people suffer as much as possible, which is a war crime in itself.

And I'm sure that they are trying to create unrest or insurrection.

And perhaps in the weeks or months ahead, they'll have some success here or there.

But it's not going to work.

And Iran will persevere because Iranians know that this is a fight for their survival.

There's also another good book about Iran called Resistance by Alistair Crook.

I think it's the essence of this, the resistance, the essence of the Islamist revolution.

And it says a lot about why Iran is a particularly resistant and resilient country, the whole axis of resistance.

And it has a lot to do with, of course, it being a civilizational state, but a lot to do because of its religious identity.

Shia Islam being supportive of the weak, the oppressed, the marginalized, and resistant against the oppressor.

The grandson of the prophet has martyred him in Karbala, the role that his sister played in this revolution.

So there is a certain resilience among Iranians.

And I have no doubt that the Iranians are going to fight until the United States gives up.

And what Trump is doing, basically, is that he's just making it worse for himself.

He's making it worse for the American people.

He's making it worse for the Iranian people.
