we must have hope for our city and our people.

And my only hope is these people, those people find a place to shelter from what they have been living and time to recover from what they have lived.

And I wish that the world would give them a chance to survive again, because you cannot survive a genocide once.

I want to say thank you for having me again here at the Scottish Poetry Library.

I'm really honoured in such a wonderful space.

I came here in summer the first time.

The weather was different, but the energy was the same and the warmth was the same.
