Yeah, well, and I said it.
I don't remember what I said.
Probably the offseason this year.
What are you, 34 home runs last year?
Somewhere between 31 and 34 home runs last year.
Once you know you can do that...
you're going to be wanting to swing to hit the ball out of the park, and I'm not so sure that PCA has stopped doing that.
We've seen him shorten up and bunt a little bit more this year, and it is being confirmed to me now through my source, Layla Rahimi, that he hit 31 home runs last year, if I'm reading you right.
Yeah, and successfully some this year, too.
I don't know if he has been doing it as much recently, but he was successful early this year.
I think it's okay for any batter, but we'll just use PCA, when you feel like you're just overmatched at the plate.
Or you're just trying to get on base to set the team.
But you see that with players.
If they just know that a pitcher has their number and they're just like, screw it, I am overmatched here.
I'm going to lay down a bunt and see what happens.
I believe that used to come up with Joe Maddon in the 2016 Cubs and Javier Baez and whatnot.
You got to feel good.
