It's like a cash envelope system and I can set it and forget it.
Like I don't go back and rework my budget unless it's been a crazy one like this summer.
except for like every every quarter i did do every year but i'm trying to do it a little more frequently just so that i can see what's going on and i know it's actually happening in my finances there was a time where i felt like a fraud when i was recording with you guys because i'm like um i haven't done anything with my budget and here i'm telling them to do all these things
But it's because my system is a set it and forget it kind of system.
It's not something you have to go in and change up every single time.
Now, at the beginning, yes, you're going to create your budget.
Then you're going to go back and review it and tweak it after using it every day.
for like the first three months until you finally got it strained out to where you want it to be and then you can automate it and you can set it and forget it and oh my gosh does it feel so good to not have to do that now when stuff comes up like getting a new vehicle or buying a lawnmower or having a baby then yes you do have to go in and rework the budget
But it's also it's not like things are having to be 100% overhauled.
It's just a simple tweak here and there.
And when we work together, we are not going to overhaul your budget all in one go.
We are going to take the budget that you are currently using
If you don't have a budget, we're going to figure out what your actual numbers are for right now.
Because if you try to create a budget off of what you think it should be, off of what you want it to be, then you're not going to stick to it.
You're not going to follow it.
It's not going to be easy.
It's going to be frustrating, give you a headache, and you're going to throw it out the window because nobody wants to deal with that, right?
So instead, we're going to create a budget based off of what you are already doing.
And then as we work together, we're going to tweak it.
We're going to change a little bit here.
