Yeah, for sure.

And actually I was just rereading a piece that uh that uh one of the the Gloria wrote, which was called uh it's for it's from New York magazine.

It's called After Black Power, comma, women's liberation.

So she was very much, you know, she worked with Angela Davis.

She understood that you can't have women's rights without civil rights, and that civil rights, women's rights, all of this is inextricably tied to each other.

Um, and Shirley Chisholm was, you know, just um part of this, you know, a big part of how this movement started.

So uh Gloria was.

was um what I I knew her a little bit too and she uh and she did and she really did I think devote a lot of the end of her life to activism and to you know she didn't have children but we were sort of all her children and I'm sure that um you can speak more to that but that there was a sense in which this was about the terror

carrying on this activism, right?

Carrying on because remember

If we think back to the time that these women started, right, there were women couldn't have credit cards.

They couldn't have their own bank accounts.

They couldn't get

Right.

So a lot of the same tenets that, you know, w that when we fought for civil rights, we fought for with women's rights.

A lot of the same, you know, being a person just like everyone else.

And so I do think and you know, the kind of equal power to be able to be in the world and have a job and get credit and uh and so um

Gloria was amazing.

And I think that she did a lot of work with trying to pass on the power of believing in yourself and being able to be an activist and um get other women involved in that.

And I think that that legacy it will go on forever.
