Happy holidays to you.
Yeah, no, they definitely owe context.
I think that it's hard to trust a lot of.
Look, there's a reason that the DOJ is independent and has been historically independent.
And I think back to like Kennedy, when he made his brother, we're talking about Bobby Kennedy, you know, the AG.
The thinking was this needs to be a separate branch of government.
It's not a co-equal, but it is something that's separate.
It's nonpartisan.
It does not serve at the behest of the president.
Now, what Donald Trump has done for the last year is, in a million different ways, said, Pam Bondi works for him.
Pam Bondi is an arm of the Trump administration.
And so when you start releasing all this material—
there is no reason to trust any of this because they've said as much.
And I think that's the big problem here is that all of this information, none of it sorted, none of it verified, or much of it not verified, and then coming out in a very willy-nilly way from an administration that we know not to trust.
And I think it's so, in so many ways, just a
terrible, terrible moment for these victims who have worked so hard and have come out and have, you know, all they want is like a little bit of accountability and the truth.
And instead we're in this like partisan bickering match, which seems like completely unrelated to the terrible things they've gone through.
So I would say I think it's two things.
One is that clearly there's a part of, you know, we know there's partisan activity.
And we saw that with the first dump of documents like, you know, zillions of pictures of Bill Clinton.
