And you know, one of the other things I just wanna add, Karen, is that the double grief is real and the grief can look so different for each partner, especially when they're understanding that they're neurodivergent very late in life.

And they're looking back through that lens and looking at some of the things they wish they could have changed and they can't change, you know, whether it's in their current relationship, in their family of origin, at school, at work, whatever.

And I hear that a lot from autistic folks who are late diagnosed or or self-identify later in life.

Yes, absolutely.

And and I've talked about this in my own relationship where I understood where I didn't have the empathy and didn't understand that my communication skills needed to change too.

So yes, I a hundred percent agree.

And I think it's really helpful to understand and and I talk about this all the time, that we can have different perspectives and different ways of being in the world.

And both be right.

And so that's the challenge for so many couples.

They expect their partner to respond and to function the same way that they do.

And then they realize that they're an a diverse couple and they're like beginning to understand why they've had all these differences.

But you know, Karen, there's a lot of couples who are in a state of crisis because they've spent, you know, sometimes decades together.

So that's the only thing that I wanted to share.

No, this is so wonderful because you know, oftentimes you hear of folks that aren't willing to address the trauma from their childhood and they'd rather just kind of sweep it under the rug.
