And I think that's a really good point to own in on. It is choices. And if you think back, like whether you have kids or not or have a pet and here you are, like you're looking at ingredient lists as best as you can. You want to make the best decision for this little being so that they are feeling their absolute best. Why does that stop?

And why then for us, do we feel like it's okay to put these things into our body? A lot of it is food addiction. Food scientists are hired to make foods more addictive. Every detail is thought of when you go to a fast food restaurant or to a restaurant to make you buy more, to think about the extra order, the bigger size of the fries or the more sugar or the dessert. Everything is thought out.

You might not feel like you have any control. until you put yourself, your higher self into the driver's seat. If your best friend came to you and said, God, I'm really suffering. I'm not sleeping well. I feel sad. You know, my cycle is off. Um, I'm gaining weight. I don't want to feel this way anymore. What advice would you give to them?

100%.

No, not at all. So yeah, that's a good place to start. Like is there stuff within you that you know you've got to deal with? And then the second place is just look at how you're nourishing yourself. I coach my clients and like when you have this lens, when you go home and you walk into your kitchen, you walk into your pantries, what if you were to consider that your first line of health care?

That's the place that's going to dictate how you're going to age, whether or not you're going to get sick, how your body looks, what your energy and your mood are like. You're going to fill it with the best things.

So I'm on a mission to really merge the wisdom that all of our ancestors had, which I probably said a thousand times today. I think there's a lot of wisdom that comes from these ancient practices and doctors that honored the wisdom of our bodies to heal, but also foods, ingredients, teas, how to use, you know, things from nature to help us, right? That was very much part of my healing journey.

I want to merge that with the Western world and Western medicine where we need it. Like if we need surgery, you need a heart surgery, you want to get to a specialist at a hospital, right? But there's a time and a place. And I think that the sooner that the two worlds come together, the future of healthcare will be integrative healthcare.

Imagine going to your doctor's office and before your visit, you're sitting in a waiting room taking deep breaths, right? Tuning in to what is actually wrong, questioning, Like when did these symptoms actually start? How do I feel? How do I want to feel, right? Merging acupuncture with a medication that you're going on with an action plan to get off, right?
