And so it's not just the minds, but it's the heart.

And so many of us are heartbroken about Nolan and his family, but so many of us are really sort of trying to process the amount of pain that we're carrying from two years of feeling like the entire world, from our government to

private sector is against Black people.

I mean, again, look at Project 2025 was built on going after and attacking Black women.

400,000 Black people are out of the workforce, 7.5% unemployment, Voting Rights Act completely dismantled, 400 years of Black progress just gone like that.

So I just feel like so many of us are just trying to make sense of this nation, the nation that we bought, you know, that we sort of bled and fought for, these principles that seem to have been abandoned by the rest of the nation.

And now everyone's turning their sort of ire on Black people.

So again, I think so many of us are just feeling sad and drained in this moment behind this particular case.

I will at some point, but right now it's just, everything is so heavy.

I'm a healthcare provider, so I talk about grief a lot.

Now to be on the other side of this is, it's a lot.

So I lost my mom a few years ago and that was hard.

This loss, this grief, this pain, it's different.

It's insurmountable.

And then it's like you get these flood of emotions all at different times and grief is so multilayered.
