And there isn't any, I mean, grief is what it is.
And what I've talked about a lot recently is how many other layers of grief there are when someone dies in an unexpected fashion or
in a suspicious fashion where there's believed to be a crime committed because you don't even have the room for the kind of grief that goes along with the absence of someone's physical presence in your life because you're thrown first into all of these other things.
You're doing police reports and finding lawyers and trying to finance your life and take care of investigators and
figure out all of the things.
And it's not something that a regular family, any average family prepares for.
Like you don't have an Ashley or a Monique to come in and crisis and say, here's your one, two, three.
That's not the beforehand for any of these people's lives.
And yes, sadly, I have been next to so many parents who have lost children in suspicious,
or criminal circumstances, many times at the hands of law enforcement, but in other instances that children were missing, where family members were injured, domestic violence situations, you name it, and there is no level of dealing with it that makes you used to it.
So it, for me, there's never been anything I could say to a grieving mom or grieving dad or a grieving sister or brother, except that I'm praying if they were ones that want prayer.
