I don't know if I was fortunate and I can say fortunate, but I was able to see both sides of Chicago. You know, I talk about this a lot in my book, how I grew up and, you know, what I've experienced with my dad. And that was the rough side of Chicago where, you know, I was around

drug addicts and prostitutes and at that time back in the day it used to be called the low-end and that's where like the projects were yeah, and I was able to see Different people from different walks of life like I didn't grow up in the projects But I was around the projects and down there because that's where my dad, you know would purchase his drugs So I feel like it just it has taught me to be a well-rounded individual.

Yeah And to learn how to manage and be in all different rooms and settings and work with all different walks of life. Because, you know, that's how I grew up. I know how to be with the best of them and I know how to be with the lowest of them.

You know, it can... It tries, you know, when I face criticism or when I have trolls on social media that feel like they are entitled to say certain things. Or, you know, people that may also try me, like... in the public or during an interview. And I feel that, you know, I can politically correct, check someone, but still remain poised and peaceful about it. And so I feel that like,

In business, being a professional, you have to be able to not go there or not pull out the south side, Monique. She has to stay back there because I'm also a representative of God's kingdom. I'm a representative for my kids, and I have to lead by example. But it's tempting, and I think we're all tempted to pull that person out.
