I've seen this happen to like some artists just get locked into how they want to do a show.
But especially when you're on the up and up, you've got to like cater to the room.
The room has a vibe.
The crowd has a vibe.
Like you've got to set the pace.
It's a lot of weight on however many people are out there.
That's your moment to make that experience special for that place.
And if you're just like locked into like this is my set list and this is why I stay here and you're not connecting, they feel it.
And so I think that's a big difference between a lot of these, like all of a sudden they're viral and they're touring.
Like they don't get that, how grateful you are to learn as a performer, how to really make a room connect and bring an energy up that's rememberable and impactful.
Like I think a lot of these other people that just get this instant fame because of the internet, did I just call it the internet?
People are still calling it internet.
The web.
The web, online, digitally.
I think that they haven't had to go through the School of Hard Knocks, the 10-year town, to understand that value.

Yeah, Laced is really steps into kind of the last year of my life in a lot of ways of everything that I was dealing with from falling in love to the the probably the climax of everything of just and then.
letting it go and going through that, feeling the blindsidedness of it, very diary-esque, but then getting to the faith and the empowerment.
Um, I lost my grandmother during this album cycle of writing.
