so it was a relationship i can fix this not a chance plot twist and he was fucking tough so when that failed i was like i think i'm gonna quit on this i just want to play with some friends and have some fun and play you know around the bars and everything i already had a girlfriend and
you know had a little job with Vinnie Framing Houses and it was like we'll play music and we'll still keep playing like but we're not gonna the expectations are low yeah and uh so I just picked dudes that were cool that was where the chemistry really came from was you know this guy's cool enough to where it's like play a beat and I'm like okay and he goes cool what if I did this I'm like that's cool what are you gonna do and everybody's just like cool you know if that isn't something that I'm totally down with then we'll get my idea next yeah
So everything was super compassionate and easy.
And that was what built the chemistry.
I mean, Lejean, I saw him singing in a fucking restaurant called Hot Rocks where we got some raw food and put it on this hot rock and cooked it ourself and ate it.
and he's singing Pearl Jam covers in the corner, you know, fucking bizarre.
I was like, man, that guy's cool as fuck.
His chicken's raw.
I mean, he used to come to see us play in the other bands, and I always thought he was super cool.
You know, I'm like, that guy's just cool.
So your advice is pick cool people.
