and I'm back to square one.
I mean, this is the brutal honesty of being an artist anywhere I think is right.
Like you just sort of, you just keep chugging along and keep making work.
And there is maybe a perceived idea that
If you're an artist, somebody's going to come along and be like, you, you've got it.
Now we're all going to make you a star.
But that doesn't really happen.
And if it does for some people, it happens briefly again and it receives and comes back again.
So, yeah, I feel lucky and grateful I can look back on some really cool wins and things.
And when the tide's out, that's when, again, the rubber hits the road.
How are we going to keep resilience and satisfaction and authenticity in those moments?
What do you do when you feel blue?
I need to walk.
I need to talk.
I talk to my friends.
I call my best friend.
I call my cousins.
I talk to my partner.
And I write.
