Everything in your dashboards is gonna look great.
It's gonna be like, Oh, we have usage, latency looks good, oh look
There's this conversation just had a session with twenty turns.
Well, how do you know if that was a death spiral, like 20 turns of trying again, or if that was like, wow, that was a user who had an amazing session.
They covered, they got 20 things that they wanted.
Um, and so the more that you have AI just off running, you're delegating tasks to it, or it's going and talking to users, I think that's the biggest danger here is that you just do not have visibility into what's actually happening in the room.
And the more that we think of AI as this super smart oracle that can do anything, the more we expose ourselves to the reality and the problem that once it's actually in the room with users, it's making a bunch of assumptions.
It's making a bunch of decisions that might look right if you're just glancing at it, might look right to the user who doesn't have the expertise to really engage with it.
But it's just
misleading or wrong and presented in a way that's very, very uh that's dressed up to look very precise and rigorous.
Um, or it's just not m you know, not m not hitting the mark of what the user wanted and they just leave and churn and you never know why.
The biggest unlock that I had for myself building AI products was once I actually started to read the transcripts, reach to read what's going on in the room.
And I would encourage any founder who is who has deployed AI, if you're not reading what's going on in your transcripts, not only are you not catching most of the failures and the bad user experiences, but I think you're also missing the biggest opportunity.
Which is in this new era, right?
Intelligence is commoditized in the model.
Everybody can do the API call.
Software is commoditized.
Like once you know exactly what product you want the AI to build, it will, if you give it a reference, it'll do a really good job and it'll be one of those 12 hour running tasks where if it just needs to recreate something, it'll do a pretty good job.
Where's the moat?
Where is what makes your product special?
