So the number 55 is absolutely a big number to wear in Japan, obviously.

Osoroharu, one of the legendary batters in Japan, hit 55 homers, but he was able to do that when he was 20 years old, 2020.

He was able to accomplish that.

So that's why he kind of changed my number to wear single digits.

Since I accomplished that feat and that number, that legendary batter in the past has put on, I would like to put on a single-digit number, number five.

What led into your decision coming off the injury to actually participate in the Home Run Derby?

Well, I was always in the, you know, watching end of the Home Run Derby.

I saw Otani-san, you know, at the Home Run Derby as well.

And when I was looking through the Home Run Derby this year, the rules had changed.

If it was the past rules in the past seasons, I probably wouldn't have been able to make it.
