I was reading up on the history of the equal time rule, and I saw some quote from Dwight Eisenhower from like 60 years ago where he basically said, we don't really want to be that involved because we really do trust the broadcasters to be able to kind of use their judgment.

And I don't know, the tone in which he was talking about the media environment seemed so different from what we're in now in terms of just this relentless assault from Trump on the trustworthiness of the media.

Yeah.

I guess I wonder, how do you feel like the American public sees all this?
