My piece of advice, I honestly don't remember if someone told it to me or if I heard it at church, but it's something I remind myself of every day.

And it's that we weren't put on this earth to be selfish and we were put on this earth.

God created us to serve one another.

That's something I remind myself every day because I am Mikael's caregiver.

And there's days that I wake up and I'm exhausted or I'm burnt out and I don't

want to go help her get ready for the day or whatever.

But I'm just like, I was created to serve others and help Mikayla.

And even if I'm having a bad day, I will never understand the hardship that she goes through on the day to day.

So the least I can do is get up and help her get dressed and send her off on her day or make her a meal or any of those little things.
