Again, not a tennis-based decision.
I'm also a little bit concerned that their first choice in this situation was to go for Andy Murray and to make this change a year ago.
So Carlos Alcaraz has played an entire year with a coach that he was looking to get rid of.
And the only reason they didn't is because...
Once Novak Djokovic got wind of that, he's the one who ended up taking on Andy Murray.
And Andy Murray decided to go with Djokovic because that is a longtime friend of his.
In the end, that relationship didn't work.
So we'll be interested to see if he ends up circling back to Andy Murray.
Andy Murray is obviously a coach who worked a lot on Djokovic's serve and Djokovic's serve has massively improved.
And it's a large part of why Djokovic can even compete right now.
Whatever the narrative is out there about Djokovic and how old he is and how he can't compete with Sino and Alcarez, he is still, for me, very, very clearly the number three player in the world.
Not only number three in this market, but clearly the number three player in the world.
He is better than all the rest.
He proved that at the US Open.
Djokovic, one of the reasons he's managed to hang around is the fact that he has greatly improved his serve.
Well, if we look at Carlos Alcaraz now, what we're seeing is Alcaraz playing with a completely different serve.
So Novak Djokovic noticed it.
Everybody's noticed it.
