There are other dangerous opponents in this part of the draw, but I just think Djokovic will come through.
Obviously, Taylor Fritz is a lot more dangerous in Australia and at the end of the year at the US Open.
Herbert Husk has a big serve.
Jacob Mensik is dangerous.
He's beaten Djokovic before.
And Thomas Maszak last night took care of Dimitrov relatively easily.
He was a favourite in that match, but he did come through quite easily.
So he's going to be a dangerous opponent as well.
But again, I'm going to say Djokovic for me is the third best player in the world.
He can take care of these guys.
But the problem I have is I think that Djokovic at 38 is a lot better in week one when he's taking care of these guys.
By the time he gets to the second week, by the time we look at Djokovic being in the quarterfinal, that's where he no longer has the legs that Alcaraz and Sinner have, especially Sinner.
So it's always going to be difficult for Djokovic in a Grand Slam to beat those players.
And it's going to take an upset of, I think, Sinner or Alcaraz to really open things up for Djokovic if Novak wants to play again in a Grand Slam final.
Why are you third best in the world?
Why does this guy have to retire?
I think for Djokovic, it's almost more painful that he's the best of the rest.
Because if we were to see somebody like a Ben Shelton overtake him and we saw Djokovic dropping down to six or seven, then maybe then it would be more incentive to retire.
