But I support him.
I think he's doing the best job that he can.
These are difficult times.
That's why I voted for the War Powers resolution last night.
We are seeing gas prices up, grocery prices up.
The feds may hike rates today, which will mean for every hardworking American, their mortgage is going to be more expensive.
Car loans are going to be more expensive.
Diesel is going to go up.
I mean, these are real problems.
And I blame both Republicans and Democrats for the debt that we're in, for the deficit we have to see every year, for what's happening with the cost of living.
I represent a congressional district and the fastest growing state in the nation right now.
And when I got my ass kicked in the governor's race, I talked to a lot of seniors while I was running.
hearing story after story of seniors being kicked out of their homes that they paid for their entire lives, hoping to retire in this home that they bought, that can't afford it because taxes are too high, because the cost of groceries is too much, they can't make it anymore.
And so seeing that has been very, very difficult, but I blame both Republicans and I blame Democrats.
You know, the point of this is we're supposed to be making their lives easier when all we're doing is growing government and making it more difficult for hardworking Americans, for retirees, people that want to have a family, work and retire.
I think in the greatest nation in the world, we have made it difficult for all of them, made it worse and not better.
And I hope that when we get through the midterms,
that we can actually focus on the things that matter, that we're not doing investigations for publicity stunts, because both Republicans and Democrats are notorious for doing that.
I do fear we're gonna have impeachment after impeachment after impeachment and get nothing done, but these are very serious times and deserve very serious responses for what's going on in this country.
And I think the disaster that Congress is, states are gonna have to take a greater role in stepping up.
