And I would collect Japanese cookbooks and I'd see them and I'd read them and my husband was the Japanese cook in the family, you know, because I was cooking Mexican and and French and and you know, I was all into the confi and I was like down in in Indian, you know, I was cooking everything else but

I mean I finally had to get

Rid of a lot of them, but

And I would never see a Japanese cookbook written in English that was the food that we ate.

It was just like kind of

Women's food, like town food, you know, which is what

what you were t you um mentioned something that about about that before.

But and so that was going to be the goal is to write a cookbook.

But I started the school, the preschool, thinking that I was going to be able to um just hire a teacher and have the teacher handle the school.

I'm gonna homeschool.

I'm gonna work on my cookbook.

And this is going to be I'm I'm a long term goal kind of person, you know?

And it just didn't work out like that.

I couldn't just hand off the school.

I was the director, I was never the teacher until we went down to like

five kids and then I I you know, could couldn't really you know, didn't make any sense to have a teacher.

But um

So I was the director and did all the programming, you know, um, and did a lot of events, like family events and they cooked for the families and we had barbecues and it's cooking is always going to be a part of my life in some way, right?
