That's how I look at it.

Yeah, I really love that method because a lot of people just think that in order to get good with money, they have to make all these sacrifices.

It's really not about sacrificing.

It's really just paying attention.

Yeah.

A million dollars in debt.

Everybody's like a million dollars in debt.

Like, first of all, why would I listen to somebody who had a million dollars in debt?

Like that just seems so financially irresponsible.

Okay.

Let me let you, let me zoom out a little bit and just kind of give you a little bit of perspective.

I live in Northern California at that time, medium home prices, median home prices were about $700,000.

And that's even on the lower end.

And

then I had over $200,000 in student loans because I have two master's degrees.

So just a house and a student loans, you see you buttoned up against a million dollars right there.

And a lot of people are just like, but that's your house.

It's not debt.

Anytime that you owe money to somebody, newsflash, it's debt.
