Well, at the Comedia del Comedia a la carte festival, whew, you know it's gonna be funny.

Uh Jerry Seinfeld set to headline his first Lisbon appearance November 1st, and comedians lower on the bill have been dropping out in protest of Jerry Seinfeld.

And I say that's important because there's a lot of people who've come up and said Israel's committing a genocide in Gaza.

Very few people will turn down an opportunity performance.

With the fame most famous comedians in the world.

It's the reason why Dave Chappelle doesn't lose his platform in spite of a lot of his virulent transphobia.

Uh, Jerry Seinfeld, again, like I said, I still love the sitcom.

I'm a stand-up comedian.

I grew up watching his comedy.

It would be hard for me not to be excited to see him.

And I am really proud of these people.

So far, five different acts have canceled their performances at the again hilariously named Commedia A la Carte Festival in Lisbon.

Uh including a duo uh from pardon me, including a uh Portuguese duo, comedy duo who have uh decided that they simply cannot

appear on the same bill as Jerry Seinfeld.

Now that no one has named him specifically, but it's very clear when they all say we cannot this is one of the quotes, we cannot relativize or normalize a genocide

Which uh act who ha who doesn't believe it's a genocide, they're referring to.

So I applaud all these artists, and I will say, uh, I don't do this often on this show.

However, I can tell you from uh personal authority, maybe by the time this episode even comes out on Wednesday, or maybe later this week, it's not only going to be five acts.
