So they do a lot of really great work in training students to do stuff like that and then they just

Put on a really fun comedy show every year and we've done them in New York and LA.

But for the first time here in New York, we are going to be running a climate comedy workshop uh for for young comedians uh for climate week.

And I'll have more details on that coming soon.

But I I'm gonna be working with some local comedians and we're gonna have like a free all-day workshop at Fordham, and we are going to work with a group of like local students and comedians and help them develop their own

material about not necessarily about the climate crisis.

When people ask me about this, I say, well, you know, I do five minutes on hybrid cars.

I do have I got my bit about solar panels.

I got my bit about being a vegan.

Um which I'm you'll learn in the bit.

I'm I'm not a vegan.

I I tried, but I'm doing my best.

I'm doing my best, but I mean I still eat meat.

The point being uh it's a hard thing to joke about, but remember, you know, people do political jokes on late night on the daily show every day

Day and climate crisis is just one of those tough tough topics that you gotta figure out the right way to talk about.

So I'm very happy to say that yeah, in uh Climate Week this year I am gonna be leading a workshop for young comedians on how to do comedy about the climate crisis that doesn't suck.

They didn't call it that, but I'm gonna ask them to put that in the description.

And that is the least worst part of my week, and hopefully also the least worst part of the week of September twentieth.

And that's that's gonna be cool.

Yeah, I mean I'm psyched for it.
