this point one more time, every time we talk about the cost of these things, which is that what these are two million dollar missiles minimum, some of them are eight million dollar missiles.
The National Endowment for the Arts budget is a hundred and sixty-five million dollars.
And it's uh five percent of our GDP.
It's one of the only things we still export, and yet uh we are spending as much on fifteen missiles as we are on uh arts for our country in a year.
So when we talk about exhausting our munition stockpile and replenishing it, um, I just want to remind people that that money doesn't come from nowhere.
It's not
Just a st uh strategic mistake.
It's also strangling American livelihood.
And those of you who voted, you know, on affordability issues should probably be able to make that connection by now.
And all the other things that we need to improve quality of life, which is the point of having a government.
