That's pretty much it in a nutshell, Kathy.
And I remember that in the interview, you really challenged me and you didn't hold back.
And I appreciate because I tried to be honest and tell my true story in the book.
And yeah, sometimes you're at a crossroads in your relationship or in your life.
And you're like, well, what has prepared me for this?
What are my choices?
And that's one of the reasons I wrote this book is like, I didn't even know what choices I had.
You know, when you still love your partner, when they still love you, you still have sex, you have a family, you don't want to just throw the baby out with the bathwater and you want to think about what choices you had.
And I grew up thinking, well, you know, I guess that's the end and we just go our separate ways.
Never mind, we've been together for 20 years or whatever.
you know, we met in college and I'm so glad that I didn't do that and that I worked through it and yeah, I got to my happy ending and it's not over yet.
Well, you know, you write a few articles, you read the hundreds of comments about how you're a pervert and you shouldn't raise children and your husband doesn't really love you.
Oh my goodness.
You're kidding.
So it's kind of good to know what's out there.
And that's
Because I live in a very supportive bubble, I realize, like my friends and family and even former colleagues.
Most people have been very supportive, but you get that out there in the vast wasteland of America and the Internet, I guess, and people are not very kind.
So it just reminds me of some of the mindset out there and what non-monogamous people are up against.
It's a wake-up call, and it's great, and that's why I work with nonprofits like
