No, it does not.
And you know, there is a New Yorker uh New York Times article that just came out recently and it you know, it talked about
thirty five trillion in home equity in the US.
It's an all time a record high.
Um in the first three months this year it says that homeowners withdrew an estimated forty seven billion in equity up to two percent from the year earlier.
And 25 billion in second mortgages.
Um, and then refinancing to take out cash jumped also 18% year over year to 22 billion.
So what we're seeing is this incredible trend where people are kind of outspending themselves and they're utilizing their home equity kind of to be able to survive.
Uh, home equity lines of credit are an all-time high.
And what happens?
If you rely on this in order to survive, especially in your older age.
You know, if you're retired, things like that.
I personally, after this article came out, I personally knew two different families that took out home equity lines of credit within the last month.
And it just it really showed me, you know, what happens if your money is not there to access?
Where where are you left?
Um, and not only that, if you don't have the money to spend on lawyers, the Arizona article mentioned this as well, that there are a few families that have tried to fight and they don't have the money.
For lawyers.
