Why can't it just be intimate in different kinds of ways?
Yeah, and work.
It makes it work.
But I also think, personally, sex is not the most intimate thing you can do with a partner, period.

Like, I think taking a bath is the most intimate.
I think eating, depending on the people like me and my boyfriend love to eat.
I think in that self, like eating together is an intimate experience.
I think, though, like if you really enjoy food and the food is like very good and like all your sense, that is so intimate to share that experience with someone.
