And then, you know, in two thousand and three, America's next top model debuts.

But there was always this strange mix of Tyra, both on top model and afterwards, which was that she would simultaneously be this harsh critic of all these girls, and then also try and be kind of a motherly maternal figure to them.

And she would both try to be.

relatable, but also this incredible, gorgeous supermodel that she was.

So there were all these contradictions tied up within her.

And I think those really came to the fore in her talk show, Tyra Bank Show, which she she started in 2005.

Now, I actually watched the Tyra Bank show when I was a teenager.
